Is there a way to get a shortcut for autorotate on to swipe pad? I found the auto rotate activity from my widget and put the in swipe pad but it does not activate/deactivate the auto rotate function. I'm guessing its not possible, but I'll leave that to the experts.

Well, I just checked, and I do not see a way to create an activity to check/uncheck auto rotate.
Typed by Z using the Gingerbread keyboard.
Thought I had an ah ha moment

I have started using "GMD Gesture Control" for "home", "resents" and "back" commands.
And I have no use for the capacitive buttons, well maybe the "options" one.
But personally I find them annoying as hell! and want to get rid of them!
I found a thread for the Galaxy S3...

I locate the folder "system">"usr" > "keylayout"
But I cant find "sec_touchkey.kl"??
I am running Omega v4.0 Rom if that makes a difference...
Any help guys?

you set your own gesture to operate different command.
For example, i swipe from left to right by using two fingers can open the recent app page..
it really depends on your own choice.
So I am trying to see what gestures you guys have. Comparing to mine.

It works perfectly with AOSP ROMs. I'm using with Paranoid android. You can assign a function or app to activate when you detach /attach the spen.

Yeah the last update that allows you to set what happens when you remove SPen and put it back put it over the top. I have owned it for a while. I set it to launch transparent pad then I made several gestures and double tap to open camera, I write a "X" to open XDA or Tapatalk, etc. Oh and write a "P" and it opens Papyrus. I dont use SNote at all anymore

Now to find a stylus based keyboard so I can write my input.
Has anyone got the default nexus 4 camera app that auto rotates even with screen rotation off.
I can't seem to find one that allows this.
If it works on your current Phone, please post it here for me to try.
Cheers

Delete.
Sorry I had it, but I lost it.
It is easy to do this using Tasker app. Let me know if you need the profile.
Profile context: launch app (camera)
Task: auto-rotate (off)
+1 on using Tasker for this.

From my experience (stock rooted), even with rotation off, the pictures get saved in the proper orientation depending on how I hold it. The bets part about having rotation of is that you don't get the whole screen to rotate, which delays the camera a lot. Try it!
This is something annoying that Google should fix, normally, its just the buttons which rotate, not the whole screen
Tapalked with a Nexus⁴
I haven't been able to disable this annoying “feature”
I'm using english-english keyboard on a unlocked H815 (TWN).
Any tips?
Thanks

Under what circumstances would you NOT follow a comma by a space?
What keyboard is this? Regardless, you can go through the keyboard settings if you go to Settings> Language & Input> tap the gear next to the keyboard you're using.
I didn't find that specifically for LG or Google keyboard, BUT I think it's automatic if you have SWIPING enabled

It's the native LG keyboard. The issue is,there is no option to turn this off (or on for that matter).
Whenever I type a comma the space comes automatically. @chrisrozon I always keep a space after a comma,I just want do it by myself and not as an automatic feature.
Nobody else has this issue??
