Is there an autobrightness hack for Gingerbread with lower display brightness values already available? The old one for Froyo ROMs doesn't work anymore. Btw. I use the Revolution HD ROM 5.1.4.
Thank you.
I was wondering if anyone can help me port some elements from the ported roms. I am running the latest official EVO Rom sense 1.0 with gb. Over time I have found some things I enjoy on the ports but I don't want the hassle of reboots and such. So these are the things I would like to add to the stock rooted Rom, just need help incorporating it.
*Notification dropdown with recent apps and quick settings
*Reboot menu options
*Lockscreen with ring (including incomming call answer/decline)
*Higher resolution / smaller size
*1x / 3g display
*Better battery life like gengersense
Any help would be appreciated.

Swyped from my EVO using XDA app.
Hey guys,
I tried to search for an answer to this question, and I must be missing the thread because I Am sure this has been asked -- so sorry if its a repeat.
Anyways, I have Atom v7 ROM on my Toro -- and I have Trickster MOD as well. I am running the 704 AK kernel --- and I wanted to adjust the color settings appropriately.
Basically, i noticed that there are color settings built-into the menus the ROM ... and then color settings in Trickster MOD app. I am adjusting the settings via Trickster MOD, but the colors or just not getting right.
Is it possible that the two applications are trying to assign the color settings and both are contributing the screen color output in the end? if so, how should i fix this. I like to use Trickster MOD to adjust other settings of my Kernel, like read ahead buffer size, etc.
thanks
hello friends.
Which is the best kernel for stock rom?
slightly lower screen brightness of galaxy nexus.
kernel, and the color scheme, but how may I do this?
What settings should I use?
Which settings can I find the brightest and most beautiful color scheme?
Just pick some and start flashing.

do not understand what setting for the brightness of the screen?
Most kernels give you control of the screen color. Just use trickster mod in the play store to change it to whatever you want.
thanks jsgraphicart.

I tested three differents Kernels with different Frequencies. All of them have Color Settings.
If you dont wanna use an app like me, You can put the file extracted from the ziped file attached on /system/etc/init.d/
I previously used Samsung devices and liked the 'screen mode' options (standard, vidid, professional, etc) they provided to have more or less contrast and saturation.
Are there any similar mods to adjust system-wide screen colour settings with root on the M8? I'm currently running Venom rom.
Same issue. Got the answer!
Use turbo ROM. Its a custom ROM but you can change contrast and saturation. Also installed gappa. (Pico worked for me)
