do not understand what setting for the brightness of the screen?

Most kernels give you control of the screen color. Just use trickster mod in the play store to change it to whatever you want.

thanks jsgraphicart.

I tested three differents Kernels with different Frequencies. All of them have Color Settings.
If you dont wanna use an app like me, You can put the file extracted from the ziped file attached on /system/etc/init.d/

[Q] Question about aokp custom colors

Hi all. New to the forums and to modding for the most part. I just flashed aokp 26 and I have a question. I'm trying to change the color of the clock and battery icons using the rom options but I choose a color and hit set and nothing seems to happen. Is this broken or is it something I'm doing or have done wrong? Any help is appreciated!

Tap the colour box (that has your custom colour in it) rather than the set button.

ROMS like MIUI for d2att?

I just wanted to know if there were any ROMs like MIUI in the aspect of customizability, I love the way MIUI changes absolutely everything about everything, such as the settings menu and lockscreen, pretty much ever menu out there, I just want my sgs3 to stand out you know? I want to know if there are any other ROMs similar that change the phone completely, I would use MIUI but it is too similar with IOS, no app drawer and such, thanks in advance! Please no trolling, I have looked around and couldn't seem to find any. Cheers!

Might I suggest giving this one a try.

[ROM] AOKP(Jellybean)Task & Ktoonsez (10/9) (AT&T/Rogers)
Options - lock screen mods
- notification pull down mods including background
- custom led colors ( you choose )
- customs vibration patterns ( you make )
Many many more. Add in a theme using built in theme chooser and away you go.

Haha I'm currently using this ROM, and I didn't even know those options! I feel kinda dumb right now lol, thanks!
But I was kind of thinking along the lines of completely changing how android looks, apart from JB and ICS I was looking for something that doesn't look too much like "android".
In that case I would suggest you have a look at some of the home screen threads or the theme threads to get a completely different look. You most likely going to need a theme and/or icon packs and spend quite a bit of time customizing how your phone looks. Oh, and the options in the ROM your running are in settings, ROM control. Here for working led colors

Might be just a silly question, but where do I find the themes? Are they connected to the AOKP ROM itself?

you can install Apex launcher or any other launcher on top of MIUI to make it look and behave like any other rooms with the options and functionality of MIUI

[Q]Trickster mod

Now I just installed a custom ROM and I'm wondering, I've put my color settings to
Contrast 6
Red 290
Green 290
Blue 400
If I put them this high, is that gonna harm my screen in anyway?
Default android is 200 across the board, and most other custom ones barely cross 200
And does anyone how I can make my notification bar transparent black?
Sent from my ak'ed GNexus
For the screen color question, I have it set to 400 straight across and haven't had any issues.
The the notification background, that is usually a feature included in ROMs.

Changing RGB won't have an adverse side effect on your screen. Contrast and gamma however can. Just make sure you don't go too extreme with either and you should be fine. The notification bar transparency is a mod. Depending on your ROM there might be a flashable zip if youre on AOSP without mods or most custom ROMs have either theme chooser or onthefly changing of that alpha variable.

[Q] Screen color saturation, can be modified?

Hi,
I'm very happy with the resolution, brightness and quality of my LG G3's screen, but I have tried the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Xperia Z2 before and I love the color saturation of their screens. I was wondering if there is any way to modify the color saturation of the screen with any mod or something. I would like to increase the color saturation of the G3 a little more.
Is it possible? Any mod, app or something?
Thank you.
