SPV M2000 - fully functional
Qtek (9090) - touchscreen broken
Pull out MB of Qtek and put it in the SPV, and nothing worked.
Put MB of SPV into the Qtek, same thing.
How do I know what LCD+TS should I order, since there are differences?
Qtek does boot, till screen alignment...

Ok so I dropped and broke the screen and touch screen on my xda2i. so instead of fixing I have bought a spv M2000. thing is I have 3000 text messages on my xda2i so i plugged it into my pc and although i cant use the screen I managed to backup everything onto my pc! great!
So the spv is currently on 2003
ebay item: 110073760404 is it possible to restore the backup onto the spv?
ok next thing. I will then want to upgrade the spv m2000 upto wm2005.
I have read the wiki and would appreciate if you could just give me a link to the best upgrade possible, and how to bring my texts with me lol.

like sed in title i bought a sx66 from ebay which had a bad digitilazer (touch screen part) i have a bricked o2 xda iis so i was gonna put the brd form the sx66 into the o2's housing and when i power up its all white its functioning though u hear the ding fomr the click here windows main screen b4 the align screen, i checked the phone when it arrived it booted but could bypass the align screen part the touchscreen works but not correctly so it doesnt align to the point where i can move further, so now i have the good lcd with the good brd but the screen is white any ideas?? its running stock 2003 rom shipped fom cingular if it helps.
please someone help if possable or anything i can try, if its software should i try a upgrade of OS?

i found out it was the lcd not the digi on the subposed good lcd w/digi so i ordered a new lcd w/digi for 95.00$ shipped, quick question, i put the good lcd with bad digi on the sx66 brds to do a upgrade to wm6, did the upgrade sucessfully, as far as i know since i cant get past the touch screen to continue but since touch isnt werking now i cant do anything i connected through actiivesync to toss sum needed cabs for future use when touch is werking, but when the unit powers on i see the colored bars with my device info at the bottom and then a blank scrren then windows starts, how do i put startup images on the phone i have a bunch just dont know where to put them, and im assuming i can goto activesync and explore and drop the files in a certin folder? or do i have to run a cab or sumthing to configure the startup screens? any info would be greatly apprecieated, also thanks for your responce, now i have a burnt o2 brd that just goto the colored bars screen like my good sx66 with bad touch, and a sx66 housing, instead of starting multiple threads ill try for a responce hear since i hijacked my own thread, any ideas on how to fix the 02 if the device info from the startup screen is needed i can provide ill toss it in the sx66 housing, or if anyone needs parts or housings i have a complete sx66 cing branded housing and one bad o2 brd which id like to fix as a backup or sell to compensate my 100 on a new lcd.

hello and merry xmas!i have a qtek 9000 and all of a sudden some days ago while having it in my pocket my lcd broke.i found some lcds in the ebay for about 130 dollars(90 euros) and as i m from greece i searched in greek forums and found a qtek with a broken m/b(something happened and the m/b "burned, toasted" from humidity etc) and the qtec doesnt turn on.he is selling it for 40 euros.i want to ask if there is a possibility and the screen to have a problem from the "burned" motherboard.i dont want to waste these money.thnx a lot for ur time
it's hard to say if the deadmobo mean damaged lcd too depend on how it died i guess
and unless it's 100% the same model you cant be sure it will work
well he has a qtek 9000 and i have a qtec 9000 so it will match.well ill take the risk about being good or not the screen
hi all i'm new here, i bought a spv m3100 off ebay a couple of weeks ago had a couple of problems with it but i sorted that out since then i decided to do a rom upgrade off the orange website, since then the phone has'nt worked right at all e.g the screen keeps going white and the buttons on the font don't work all the time i was thinking about getting it put back to the aku2 rom (i think it is), but looking at this forum alot of people have upgraded to wm6, how hard is it and what do i need to download to get it, you probably been asked 100 times about it so i apologise, the spv is on locked to orange still, any help would be grateful. regards simon

Hello, I something serious. During the upgrade my qtek 9000 to WM6, I inadvertently unplugged the USB cable. Since QTEK does nothing, not even the bootloader. Doctor then? please, do not tell me that my qtek 9000 is dead or I will hang

we need to know before I made upgrades Roma radio and extrom without worries. we must also know that I have never upgraded the bootloader The simptomes:
1 - When I met bootloader mode, it displays the menu "press 0 to restore ...", and there if I type" 0 " or "x", Qtek does nothing more (off screen)
2 - This is not because batteries, I have tested with 3 batteries full.
3 - The software mtty does not detect Qtek, even with USB connection Activsync disabled.
4 - Do you think it is possible to upgrade the Bootloader? If someone knows where I can buy a motherboard for my Qtek 9000? ..

I read everything and I think that if mtty can not pick my qtek, it is bricked .
Actuellmeent I seek a motherboard not very expensive because my qtek is in good condition.
someone could give me sell a motherboard improved with 128 MB?
