HTC Keyboard- "unable to reach server" ERROR

Hi
Got myself a new Desire... pre-loaded with Froyo!
I was trying to use the voice to text feature to type a message over wifi, but i keep getting the error - "unable to reach server".
I press the voice button on the keyboard, then its says 'speak now' and when i stop (the part where it is supposed to go online to recognize) it gives me the error- unable to reach server.
and obviously my wifi is working fine in all other apps.
Please HELP!! Can't tolerate this on a new phone ;-)

No one facing the same issue?? strange!!
i was also thinking of rooting my phone and putting a ROM in it which might solve the issue!! any suggestions on which ROM to use (as there are so many now) which might be as close as possible to stock ROM...

[Q] spotify problem with sense 4 roms

Does anyone else have a problem when trying to use spotify on a sense 4 rom? and does anyone have a fix?
The problem I'm having is that I can't log in, when I press the username field I starts trying to log on immediately (which of course is impossible cuz I haven't entered my username and password yet) and then I get a thing saying "unknown error (error 112)"
I hope someone has a fix, because I want to use a sense 4 rom, but I also need spotify to work.

Which Rom are u using?

I had it with both Primo-S - 1.2 and SmartBeat Venomous 1.0

If there are people with the same problem, I found a "fix"
You have to type your password and username in some screen where you can type.
Then cut/copy that and paste it in the username field of spotify.
Then cut your your password and paste it in the password field and you can log in.

(Q) Saving MMS picture to phone

When I try to save pictures that are in mms, I get an error saying insert sd card. Is their anyway to change the location for saving pictures or media from a mms?

try 'download all files' from the market.

Having same issue..."Download all files" does not work

i'm curious about this. are you saying that in mms when you long press the actual photo or the arrow pointing to message options and the option to save pops up, when you select save, that's when you get the sd card message?
maybe try resetting your phone?

Thats exactly the issue. Having same problem here...its just getting VERY annoying to keep restarting the phone to get this to work....

I had the same issue with stock massaging app. Never managed to fix it but Go Sms works fine with saving pictures. The only advice I can give is to use another messaging app. we shouldn't have to though I know.

possibly the stock app mms max size limitation (300k) may be affecting ability to save?

Don't you guys get this pop-up when you long press on the MMS image you want to save? Mine are sent to the downloads folder.

Skype problem

i am using a data sim.net is working alright in alll program except skype.
Its saying that
"there was a problem in signing .check your internet setting"
help me i need it.

[Q] Problem while attaching application to facebook

I have got strange Problem in Device E988 :
1. I intalled true caller today . After installing it asked to connect my social facebook account. For the attaching purpose & opened webpage , I given my facebook Account details like username pass etc.
2. Ok it reached to next screen that facebook is connecting true caller app to your account. Do you agree ?
3. Their at the bottom two options there : Cancel & Ok.
Problem is here Even after clicking Ok, It does not go anywhere & stuck at the same page. Any solution ?
On my nexus it goes back to true caller & Works like charm.Also on OGP Twitter worked great in app. But only problem is Facebook.

I'm also having same problem to authentica any third party facebook app.. My usual FB app is Atrium but now I cannot use it. same for Flipster and other fb client. let me know if you found the solution. thanks

Remove authorized app from facebook then try again...?
