Just something I'd like to share.
Like most of us here I've been playing around with various WM6 ROM flavours and Radio versions.
What I have found is that there seems to be a relationship of some sort between ROM versions and Radio versions. A relationship regarding stability, speed but also battery drainage. Certain Radio versions simply don't go well with certain ROM versions I have found.
At the moment I am running Schap's WM6 4.31 Lite WWE ROM. Superb ROM BTW.
The Radio version that I have found to be the most 'matching' is Radio 1.51.00.10. It's stable, battery life of this ROM/Radio combination is fantastic, HSDPA works great and it doesn't slow down my TyTN.
I've tried lower and higher Radio versions with Schap's 4.31, most were also stable but there were other issues, like incoming call issues, HSDPA access and speed, battery life not that good, Bluetooth connectivity issues, or the responsiveness of my TyTN decreased dramatically (the latest 1.54 Radio ROM).
Who else has the same experience?
i only hace the 1.54 radio, but i try the older ones immediately, although m hermes is very responsive (crcs 6.1 release 6 ;-))
Regards
I allways flash the OEM Rom with the Radio that I want to use. Then flash the cooked rom.
I tried the 1.51 radio rom version with crcs 6.1 release 7 and it had a horrible power drainage... with 1.54 i had the best so far ;-)
btw: i have a herm300 if there's a relationship^^
Regards,

Doesn't matter but: It's better to get the radio 'seated', 'tested', & working 1st. Then if all is well, flash the OS rom (u must have hardspl installed for both).

thx appreciate it
but those are trials.i was hoping for a site with includind serials or cracks
well, after testing 1.54 with the release 7 I have to admit that the power drainage is still very high... it seems like the release 6 was the most energy saveing in adversation to release 7 wich looks like the heaviest power consumer ever ;-)

Hi everyone,
I've done a pretty long research work on this website but I didn't found something that solved my problem that's why I create this thread.
I'm having some issues with the 2010-03-18 update for HTC TOUCH PRO2 downloaded directly from htc.com.
Since I got this device, I had never installed another ROM than the one the device came with but I wanted to experience WM 6.5 so I installed the 2.07.406.1 (80303) ROM but since I did it, I can't synchronize my school mail account (which works on Echange 2010) anymore...
First, I thought it was because of my operator but it wasn't. So now I think it's because of the new rom...
Does anyone have the same issue than I have?
My device information :
System version : 5.2.21887 (21887.5.0.86)
Manila version : 2.5.20121225.0
Rom version : 2.07.406.1 (80303) FRE
Radio version : 4.49.25.91
Protocol version : 61.44etc.25.35U
Hope somebody will help me and it might be useful for other ones who experience the same problem.
Thanks for your time,
Have a nice day,
Best Regards.
I had in the past installed the WWE 2.07 ROM and had sync with an exchange 2010 working fine.
It does not help you a lot, but at least you now know that it can work.
Thank you,
Anybody has got a problem with the last ROM update?
Otherwise I'll have to flash my TP with another ROM and another Radio to see if my problem is resolved.
Have a nice day.
Had a search of the forum and couldn't find anything.
Has anybody flashed the new (leaked) radio on a Telstra phone? I'm wondering if it is only meant for 8181 (900/2100mhz) phones and if NextG still works.
Cheers
are you talking about the leaked froyo radio?
i have a 8183, but i'm using a froyo rom so it works on mine.
what is the radio version number?
I am and it works fine.
Yeh, I was referring to the leaked radio.
I installed it anyway so I'm now running OpenDesire 1.6a
NextG definately works, as it was happy to go and sync everything I needed over 3G.
Hello at all!
Today I have installed the Revolution 6.1.5. It's working fine but I have some troubles with Lotus Notes Traveler.
If I have a look on the Log I always get the code 32, which means that there is not enough memory. Checking the available memory says that there 600 MB inside of the device and about 1,5 GB on the SD card.
The other problem is, that after starting of mail or calendar the application is closed directly with the message: That the application is closed directly by an non expected problem(process.com.lotussync.traveler)
My question would be, wether somebody had have the same problem and could solve it or what could I try to get more informations about the problem.
(User traveler version: 8.5.3)
By the way - I hope this was the right place to ask. Furthermore I'm not the owner of this device and tried to help some colleague to install a custom rom.
I case of missing information I will provide them as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same problem with Desire HD, Revolution HD 6.1.5, Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.2.4. On stock ROM I had no problems. Please help me...
I have a Desire HD too and HD Revolution 6.1.4 with Traveler 8.5.3.1 (so the last version) but for me the process com.lotus.sync.traveler crash !!
For the history :
1. Before moving on the HD Revolution ROM, I was with the Stock ROM 2.3.3 and Traveler 8.5.3 and it worked fine.
2. I went in HD Revolution ROM so Android 2.3.5, always with the Traveler 8.5.3 and here I was the same problem as you (sync error with code 32)
3.When I saw that it didn't work with the HD Revolution ROM, I thought it was because I was in Android 2.3.5, so I searched for a newest Traveler version and when I saw that there was a new version I told myself that perhaps it solved the compatibility problem with Android 2.3.5. But not, even with the latest version I have now a crash of the traveler process !!
So it comes right from the HD Revolution ROM but from what I don't known !!
Revolution HD 6.3.1 plus Notes Traveler 8.5.3 WORKS
Today I installed ARHD v6.3.1 and Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.3.1 WORKS perfectly!
Excellent, I will test that this evening. Thanks
