[Q] is there any way to get paid marketplace apps and games for free ? - Windows Phone 7 General

is there any way to get paid marketplace apps and games for free ?
could any hacker find any way for this ?

That's not going to happen.
Support the industry, like everyone else does.
Or if you can't afford apps, just find the free ones.

I didn't know about that but that is really stupid to say the least! What do they care what we do to our phones? If they are like that I would not want to use their products anyhow.
Lol, well outta of curiosity I searched for it & was able to find it...Not gonna buy it though.
I don't think they know what there talking about, that was probably a response to someone that couldnt find or install it on a screwed up rom...
Sent from my phone.
I see RadioTime in there. He's probably using some old ROM with the Market broken.
It shows up for me to but even if I wanted it I wouldn't buy it simply because they said that.
I am the consumer and any company who would tell me something like that simply would not get my business..I can't stand arrogant companies who think they are the ones who will tell their consumers how things will be done.
I can probably tell you exactly what happened. Someone bought it, didn't do a backup or didn't run market fix after installing from backup. Then they dubbed this as a "problem".
I think this is a "market feature", so some apps don't install, but I learnt, there are "market fixes" ...

[Q] how do jailbreak my htc evo

How do jailbreak an HTC Evo to get all the apps for free? Is it possible?
You can get apps for free without a jailbreak. And it's not called a jailbreak(that's just iPhones), it's called a root. I can help you get free apps, it's pretty simple if you want to learn.

you guys should keep it out of the open this cant be discussed on xda, its against the rules, so yea.
Support the developers. If you come across something you want, and it costs, PAY FOR IT.

Pay for them looser! You wouldnt want someone to come to our house and take all your stuff that you worked hard for. Enjoy being flamed just cuz you want to save 99ยข on a fart app or whatever
Jailbreak? Last time I checked this was an EVO forum... if you want to jailbreak something I recommend purchasing an iPhone. I hear if you put a case on them they can actually make calls too!

As others have said, the devs work work hard on their apps, so if you find one you like, pay for it. You may not be aware, but XDA isn't just a smartphone forum (like androidcentral, or ppcgeeks), its a developers forum, where app developers actually post to support their apps, and work with the community to work out beta versions, and resolve issues.

Is having Ad Blockers stealing ??

Because they do pay app developers so they can stay free.. So at least we should be able to see what they advertide? I feel bad but then again I dont lol

Just use the ad blocker AND buy the premium apps that you want to support.

Flawed logic. If ads were meant to keep the product free, then all apps would have the same features but some/most apps that have a paid version have no ads in addition to additional features. It creates an additional incentive to support the dev.
If you think you should be seeing the ads, why block them yourself?
Do whatever you want.. no one cares. The money they would get from the ad views is pennies and by no means a way for someone to support themselves.

I disagree about it being "pennies". It adds up. I know people that make a living off of advertising on websites, apps, etc.

Obviously it doesn't matter too much to the devs or to Google otherwise they would be banned from the "market" (Play) ...
So... take that into consideration!

I understand the payout systems and how the ad revenue scheme works. Those are websites you are referring to are getting a pretty good amount of unique traffic flowing though. Most people, especially apps for droid just don't get that traffic. It is also basically there job to maintain those websites, apps, etc so they can get that revenue stream.
Not a lot of devs are going to quit there day job because they got an app or two that has several thousand downloads.
pennies add up. Within 2 months of launching the free version of angry birds rovio was pulling in $1MM/mo from the ads.

Not every app uploaded is going to be as popular as any given angry birds series because it's already an established game.

Giving the guy the benefit of the doubt because I was wondering the same thing about my paid copy of tetris that says it is not authorized for my new GN

I believe he is referring to modifying the game data to gain benefits in-game.
@OP Yes, I actually have managed to 'hack' it. If you are seriously interested
in hacking it, PM me and I will show you how.

What's the point in playing a game if you're going to be cheating?

You're exactly right. Which is why we don't cheat without prior completion of the game.
Seeing as how I've beaten A7, I see no reason to leave it alone. Why not have fun with it?
See what all you can modify and mess with. Just a thought..

I also would love to hack block breaker HD to work again... I bought the game but now it closes right after checking licence.
Its his personal choice, thats like saying why we would root our phones as soon as we get it (I know most of us are guilty of that). Dont be so quick to judge, arent we a community of believing we deserve to do whatever to the hardware and software we own?
Its my purchased game from the play store at the time of posting this thread I could not get any hack to work with GG or GameCIH so I wondered if it had been patched in the PS release. I have now managed to hack the coins but not the reputation or stars, the reputation force closes and the stars don't stick any ideas?
PS to the people who feel hacking a game to win etc is pointless, i bet youve cheated in GTA once in your life?

no more ad-free in the market app store ?

or any other ad blocker apps in the market, anyone know why ? or what the story is. they used to work pretty well on my rooted SG3.

Because Google along with developers make their money off of ads. If you block ads nobody makes money. Then nobody develops or apps go to a paid version.

The advertisers petitioned Google to remove them. They are still available on the developers sites in most cases and can be sideloaded. Also many ROMs bake in the host files.
And Questions go in Q&A
So thread moved...lol.
