You know how you can make a folder on the iphone and then throw apps in it and get a preview of the apps in there?...is there the same for android? Is there an app that lets you do that? Like simi folder and such?

If you longpress on a homescreen, one of the options is to create a folder. Select it and then select "new folder". Longpress on an app and then drag it to the newly created folder. Clicking the folder, afterwards will be you a transparent view of its contents. Try it and see if this will suffice for you.

Technically the Razr V3X had dual cameras, I used to have that phone, but no body else even had a phone able to video chat, and this was back in 06-07.

Yeah, Folder Organizer is great. The built in folder functionality works fine too, but Folder Organizer adds some nice features, like icons for the folder.

1.I can't move/organize any of my apps around in the app drawer.

1. Get a different launcher, google nova launcher I think it has that ability.
2. You need to be in a clear place with plenty of light for facelock to configure and needs to be there for a good amount of time.
3. Go into the market go into settings and uncheck auto add widgets.

Thank you so much, but I already tested Nova Launcher, and I still cant edit my apps in the drawer.
It also helps to read the CM9 threads like the Tip Sharing thread in General if you don't want to wade through all the posts in the Development thread. The market tip was one of the first ones posted.

There instructions are well put and i basically followed them but i would have worded them as such.
1) Rename the app you downloaded from above to gmail2.apk
Use any file explorer app and goto system/app and delete gmail.apk and then navigate to data/app and delete com.google.android.gmail (or something similar to this). you should be deleting 2 things. Thats what i had atleast. and I am on codefirex latest jb nightly
2)reboot phone
3)at this point you should see the gmail app NOWHERE in your app drawer
4)push gmail2.apk (the app you downloaded from earlier) to /system/app
5)reboot annnnnnnnd you will have the new gmail already installed and good to go!!
issues:
my data was slow to start for some odd reason. idk if it is a remote issue but it never really happens to me.

Seriously, what is the difficulty to zoom out in email, especially a big waste on the giant S3 screen. I still have my S3 but it's just sitting there now. I do email a lot and couldn't take it any more, so I bought another iPhone. I so miss the S3's screen, but it gets on my nerve everytime I have to scroll around to read an email on the S3.
This still won't help me since it's Gmail only :crying:

The new play store does look good. I can't wait for the pinch to zoom for emails though as well. This is something that does need to be in there as the real estate on the S3 is just too big to not be able to move around in the email itself.
Downloaded/installed and everything seems to be working fine. Used Root Explorer to remove the old gmail.apk from system/app.
Thanks.

I'm not a dev, maybe someone work on it. I pushed apk to system too, as it's based on aosp, I think these features are not imposslible for us. We need to get some attraction from devs :fingers-crossed:
That work for me but I have always a better photo with stock Camera app...
So I updated my mother's Note 2 with 4.3. The phone is stock and everything, my problem is and made real angry is that I wanted to show off some of the new feature that it has. So went to group play app to do the video sharing, but when I see, there isn't any video sharing to my surprise!!! What happen? I saw all those demo showing off the video sharing option with a Note 3 and a Note 2!
I was testing that out (half heartedly) with my girls GN3 and my newly OTA'd GN2 and couldn't get them to detect with the scan... just off work so I'll try a few more things and see if I can get anywhere
Edit:
So far no dice... double checked device status and Knox counter... everything is good. I did turn on my phone afterwards and noticed several app updates (most were for newer 4.3 apps) but not for group play or Samsung link...
As of right now I wasn't able to get my girls GN3 and my GN2 to recognize each other through any of the apps when referring to videos... (we also have a Samsung TV but no dongle yet)... was able to get music to play on both devices though...
Some things that I've noticed:
1. Her group play app is about half the size of mine (even though she has the GN3 and I'm on the GN2)
2. Her Group Play app is actually an older version than mine
3. Her Group Play app has an option of video sharing where mine doesnt... I only have music/documents/etc... but no video tab to share
Really the whole thing makes no sense lol... but ill continue looking around for answers... pretty stumped at this point as, like I said, they sync for music, just not videos
Something tells me the solution could be as simple as a setting, as boring as waiting for the app to update, or as complex as requiring a dev to manipulate resolution errors/compatibility issues etc and creating a work around... really no idea at this point

Okay after playing around and trying to figure out how to do this I find out how. You need a smart TV that's connected to your home network. That can recognize media files from your phone. Like a media server. I have a Sony TV so I went to settings turned on near by devices and allowed my TV to look in my phone. Then go to wherever on your TV to find the media connection and browse from your TV.
