phone not asking for unlock code when forign sim is inserted?

hi every1
i need your help,i requested the t-mobile for unlock code 2 weeks back and got 1 today...they problem is for 2 weeks i was jus playin with the phone,as i am not in US...and was testin many custom roms on my phone...now when i insetred forign sim the phone is not asking me for any code(currently on on energyrom )plz help me get my phone unlocked
do i need to flash back to official rom?

had same problem (using Italian Vodaphone SIM) - was able to get phone to ask for unlock code when I inserted an older AT&T SIM which had been deactivated.

If I don't have old AT&T Sim. What should I do to get unlock code entered?

I am new here and sorry if i am on wrong section, but i need a question
I have a samsung galaxy S3 GT-i9300 Android 4.1.2, I9300XXELLA and i want to unlock sim without root, and if its possible only with root tell me pls best way to root (if its possible i want to keep waranty) and after root and sim unlock how can i unroot?
PS: i didnt know what section to choose beacause I bought my phone in Spain from Vodafone.

I bought desire vc (t328d) from china market dul sim (gsm+cdma)
the cdma network in my country do not support UIM card subscribation function , it is only activated by OTAF feature ? i mean the assigned number can only entried by your self by using access code at intial activation , but the phone rom does not support this feature , else UIM !!
the proplem how i can use cdma line without using UIM card ?? !! please any help

This is the first time i am looking at this problem,
but this can not be hapening.
each service provider has to give UIM card for the customer.
ask them,they will provide you UIM.
