[Q] "simple" advanced power menu? [android revolution 3.0] - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
I'm running Android Revolution 3.0 and using the Advanced Power Menu add-on. Is it possible that I could remove the last four options when I go to turn off my phone, so I only have the 'Power Off', 'Hibernate' and 'Restart' options?

[Q] LeeDroid 3.0.3 - putting phone on silent?

I installed LeeDroid 3.0.3 on my Desire this morning and it seems to be working very well so far. But when I hold down the power button to bring up the Power Options menu, there's no longer an option to put the phone on silent mode - is there any way of doing this quickly other than by using the volume keys (which is too fiddly for my liking)? Maybe some way of readding the Silent option to the menu? As it's both the first Gingerbread Rom and the first LeeDroid Rom I've tried, I'm unsure which one of them introduced this change...

[Q] CM7 Mod, unlocking problem

Hello,
When I try to unlock my Desire I have a problem. I press the power button, and the screen flashes on, and then straight off again. The keys at the bottom are still lit and I have to press the power button twice before I get the unlock screen up again. SOmetimes I only have to do this once, but sometimes I have to do it many, many times before I can unlock the phone.
I have tried using different lock screens, different options etc but they all seem to have the same problem.
Can anyone help?
Are you using CM7 stable version or nightly build?
I'm using the stable version.
Turn off fastboot in Settings > Power.
Well did it help?

Can't see a Power option in the settings menu, is it in CyanogenMod settings? Or some else within Settings menu?
Press menu, tap settings -> Power
Its not there?
Im on different ROM right now, but it should be there.
If its not there try to look in Settings -> Applications
Been though all teh settings screens and I can not find any option to turn off fastboot.
I have just checked what version of CyanogenMod I'm running and it looks like I'm running the release candidate rather than the stable version.
I'm going to try to install teh stable evrsion and see if it makes a difference.
Nah, just ask in CyanogenMod thread where you turn off fastboot, i cannot quite remember where it was exactly.
But im sure this is causing the issues you described.

[Q] how to reboot ZL?

Quick question, might be kinda dumb, but I haven't yet figured out how to reboot my ZL from the power menu. Only thing I can currently do is shut the phone down, and then power it back up again.
I'm not rooted so I don't have ClockworkMod or anything like that that gives me different options in the power button menu..

Yes, as far as i remember the stock rom doesn't have reboot option but you will get the reboot option if you install modded rom.

No stock Android ROM has a reboot function... Only 'Power Off'. Only custom ROMs will give you the extended power menu with the ability to reboot into recovery, etc. You also have the reset button in the rear of the phone next to the microSD slot which is essentially like pulling the battery.
Sent from my Xperia™ ZL

[Q] Bootload and Recovery menu

Hi,
I'm using the Revolution HD rom and with other rom I found in the power menu (that who appears if you hold the power button down in the main screen) there are more option (other than reboot, shutdown and other stuff there are the usefull reboot into bootloader and into recovery).
Is there a mod or an apps that will add this option to the menu?
I get some problems trying to boot into bootloader (power button+vol down) and I have to try many times before do it so a software option to boot there would be so usefull.
Thanks,
Massimiliano

Is there a lollipop advanced power menu?

Is there one for lollipop everyone uses? I've got root and the latest twrp, so I just need a good advanced power menu to complete my transition to lollipop.
I can see a few for kitkat, but I dont see any for lollipop.
Not yet. but you can get "Power Menu" from Playstore.
Thanks. I've already got a home screen widget, but I was also hoping for a power button extension.
I`ll have to give it a try ...
