Is there one for lollipop everyone uses? I've got root and the latest twrp, so I just need a good advanced power menu to complete my transition to lollipop.
I can see a few for kitkat, but I dont see any for lollipop.
Not yet. but you can get "Power Menu" from Playstore.
Thanks. I've already got a home screen widget, but I was also hoping for a power button extension.
I`ll have to give it a try ...

Hi there,
I'm running Android Revolution 3.0 and using the Advanced Power Menu add-on. Is it possible that I could remove the last four options when I go to turn off my phone, so I only have the 'Power Off', 'Hibernate' and 'Restart' options?

did u find a solution?
Is there any way to edit what is on the menu at all? i would like to remove and add some stuff if i could
I'm also wanna do that, or just get back to stock menu.
Quick question, might be kinda dumb, but I haven't yet figured out how to reboot my ZL from the power menu. Only thing I can currently do is shut the phone down, and then power it back up again.
I'm not rooted so I don't have ClockworkMod or anything like that that gives me different options in the power button menu..

Yes, as far as i remember the stock rom doesn't have reboot option but you will get the reboot option if you install modded rom.

No stock Android ROM has a reboot function... Only 'Power Off'. Only custom ROMs will give you the extended power menu with the ability to reboot into recovery, etc. You also have the reset button in the rear of the phone next to the microSD slot which is essentially like pulling the battery.

I'm trying to up date my parents Nexus 7 to 4.4.2 but it refuses to install.
The device advises that the update is available. It downloads without any issues. The device reboots and starts the install process. It reaches around 20% and displays "ERROR" with the android logo lying flat with an exclamation mark.
The device is brand new and has not been rooted etc. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

When you see the android with exclamation mark hold down the power button and while you are holding the power button down press and release the volume up button. You are now in stock recovery. Use the volume button to highlight "wipe cache partition", press power button to select. Once that is done select reboot. Maybe wiping the cache well have helped. Try the update again. If that doesn't work, you have two choices that I can think of. Try a factory reset or adb sideload the update, for adb sideload you need a computer with adb setup on it. If it was rooted with a custom recovery there would be other options. Good luck!
To get to stock recovery... with the tablet off, hold down the power button and while you continue to hold it down press the volume down button until it boots into the bootloader screen. Use the volume button to select "Recovery mode" then press power button. Now you will see the android with exclamation mark again. Hold down the power button and while you are holding the power button down press and release the volume up button. You are now in stock recovery.

Hi, thanks for replying.
I have tried this to no avail. I do however have further information regarding this error. When I press the power button and up I can see that it says "/system/lib/libchromeview.so" has unexpected contents. Does this mean that the software is not suitable for this particular device.
This all seems very strange as it's a brand new device and I'm getting the software from google directly?

The OTA will check the "System" to see if anything has changed, if it thinks anything has changed then it will fail. The update should absolutely work for your device. If a factory reset doesn't give you the ability to do the update, and I have my doubts, return/exchange it. Don't wait too long! Otherwise you need to use adb and at the very least, flash the system image to fix the problem. I personally can't think of any other options that you have. I don't know for sure but maybe there was an app that changed "/system/lib/libchromeview.so." Maybe the Chrome Browser or Chrome Beta. Try and uninstall the Chrome updates and/or Chrome Beta if it is installed. Settings/Apps/All.

Yes, I was thinking exchange would be the best option. Thanks for your help with this.

No problem!
There's no need to exchange for what's a relatively simple software fix. If you search the forums, you'll find easy-to-follow instructions for unlocking the bootloader, then flashing the stock recovery and latest ROM.
I no longer trust Google's OTA update process anyway. Flashing the full stock ROM ensures you'll start with a perfectly clean slate.
Can someone post a picture and tell me what Downloade Mode looks like? I'm attempting to temp root my phone, and in doing so, need to downgrade from 5.0.1 to 4.4.4, and THAT that particular thread wasn't much help. I understand to get to it, you press Volume Down + Home + Power until it vibrates, and then at the warning, press the Up arrow. The problem is, I'm not sure what I'm suppose to see next, if it's some sort of menu with options, or if this is in fact Download Mode. Thank you.
I just love the stock power menu in mm any way for me to add it in lolipop. I dont use advanced reboot option half the time a reboot or reboot to recovery usually leads to me having to do a bat pull any ways
