[Q] VM Intercept representation? - About xda-developers.com

I see some Virgin Mobile users posting in the Sprint Intercept forum. Any chance to get the Intercept threads expanded to officially include VM? Thanks.
Sorry if this is a duplicate request, tried searching the forums 6 or 7 times, but the mickey fickey verification puzzles were way too demanding and kept rejecting my tries.

[Q] Voicemail not working.

I have read all the threads before on this, and I have not found a sufficient answer. I'm running SuperSonic 3D-RC1.2 on my HTC EVO 4G on Sprint.
My voicemail comes to me in a text message from 650-603-0000 telling me that I have a voicemail from a number. I have had this problem for quite some time.
Can anyone help me?
(By the way, I've been on XDA for months, but just got a login. I am very new to this site, so please don't bash me on this.)

Q about Sprint voicemail / text messages, CM10 Alpha 5.2 (PhantomPhreak)

Ello community forum,
I've read a lot of messages about this, but none seem to specifically apply to me. When I get a voicemail, I'll also get 2 etxt messages. Reads: //ANDROIDhonenumber has sent you a Sprint Voice Message. Call 408-970-0000 to listen. MMSN, blah blah blah.
2nd message says the same thing, and comes in a minute later, has a slightly different garbled code.
Am I missing a setting or application here? I'm not using google voice that I'm aware of (all accounts on my phone, if I sign into my browser and go to google.com/voice, nothing is setup and it asks me to accept TOS, so I don't think that applies.)
I'm also compiling a 'noob guide', since I myself am fairly new at this and have had rescue before (thanks rovar), I thought it might assist with others.
Anyway, cheers if someone knows why this occurs and how I can rectify it. Thanks again to everyone in the forum and community.

No voicmail LED notification for messages

Hi,
I recently converted a couple Sprint Epic Touch 4G to PagePlus MVNO service. I used the CDMAFlash tool to do a half flash. Everything works that I need (i.e. voice, text. No data as I don't need it). The only outstanding issue is the missing LED alert that notifies me of awaiting voicemails. I've searched but to no avail. Could I ask those in the know how I might be able to resolve this issue with the missing voicemail notifier? Currently on official Samsung 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
Thanks everyone.
P.S. If this is not in the proper forum, my apologies and please move as appropriate.
Not sure if this works for you. Hit your phone shortcut then settings there should be a voicemail notification option.

Help fixing voicemail. Get message Invalid Number

I gave my dad one of my Sprint S2's (I have a few of them I use them as timelapse camera's) because he just hated his kyocera (he has hearing issues and a quirkk of the kyocera made it very hard for him to hear)
anyway its a sprint S2 so I had someone flash it to boost for me. the transfer went perfectly zero issues. everything works mms txt calls data you name it.
voicemail got reset but that seems to happen every time you change devices with boost. we reset it recorded a new greeting all was good.
now the next morning sister says she is getting an invalid number message when she calls pop. turns out she was going to voicemail and the voicemail system was saying his number was invalid.
I tried press hold 1 from the handset same message. I diales HIS numnber from the handset. same message.
how do I fix this? how do I "reset" the voicemail?

thanks. I actually spend quite a bit of time trying to FIND that forum. I could not find it.
I put in sprint galaxy (nothing) I put in D710 and nothing (in the type to find your device box)
did not think of trying epic 4g touch
Yep the titles of some of the forums here are a bit weird (they should include all the various model numbers that correspond to the brand names of each device).

Ported number, getting email alerts of voice messages not meant for me.

So I recently ported from Sprint to Verizon and now to ATT within a little over a month. After just completing the port to AT&T I am getting strange email notifications about a voicemail I missed which seems to be for totally different people.
No notifications are showing on my phone and when I check my phone it is saying I have none. However almost daily now I am getting email alerts and the voice message attached of a email to someone else.
When I hoover over the message on gmail it shows up as @smsvoice.sprint.com all coming from 724 area code. This didn't happen with the month I spent on Verizon, just a day or so after getting my number ported from Verizon to ATT and getting the phone up and going.
Phone is a LG G4, bone stock.
The software used to play the messages showing through email is called Smith Micro Software.
Would like to figure out why I'm getting these. If anyone has experienced this or knows what it is I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello,
To better assist you, your thread will be moved to your device Q&A forum linked below.

The experts there may be able to help. Good luck.
It's more likely connected to the operator, rather than the phone.
