[Q] Use PC as USB On-the-Go?

So this may not be the right area to make this thread, but I have a Sprint LG G2, so I'll post it here. Move if necessary.
I was wondering if there was a way to trick an Android phone with USB-OTG capability into thinking a PC is a USB drive? Maybe some sort of USB emulator with a bridge? I have no idea what the program would be, but if it's possible that'd be awesome. I'm interested in this because I never keep my backups on my phone for longer than it takes to move them onto my PC, so if I could just do a backup to a USB-OTG that'd make things much easier. The problem is that I don't have a USB Flash Drive or a USB-OTG cable. I could make a USB-OTG cable easy enough, and probably find a flash drive somewhere, but does anyone think this is possible? Thanks.

[Q] Can't Connect To PC or Transfer Files?

Hi there!
I've downloaded and installed the latest Cyanogen Mod 11 Snapshot (M9) for my HTC One X (endevouru). The phone works internally fine but I can't connect Micro USB to Micro SD Card OTG, Micro USB to USB OTG or transfer files on (any) computer. The only way to transfer files for me is to upload to Google Drive/Dropbox and download to my phone. Yes, I have enabled USB Debugging, file transfers, etc, ntohing.
Is anyone able to assist in fixing by either on the phone itself or a link to original stock img/rom/whatever or a ROM that everything works on? As well as a ROM that works 100% (file transfers etc) that is based on AOSP/CM11 that has a theme chooser?
Thanks.

This I had the same happened for my HTC One X phone, but I didn't have Cyanongen Mod nor Backup.
Bump
Bump.
Yeah I have a similar problem. Windows (8.1) doesn't recognize the phone as a mass storage device but as a cd-rom drive. What I have tried: Device manager-> uninstall driver -> reboot -> reconnect phone -> No change.
Download latest htc sync manager to get the latestes drivers-> Install works fine -> Sync manager can't connect to phone, needs latest drivers -> Can't connect to phone and nothing gets installed.
So I'm stuck. Can' t access my phone to to, well, do anything.
I can connect my phone to my girlfriends laptop so the cable is working fine and it's probably a windows issue and I do have some problems generally with usb devices disconnecting, but that doesn't help me much since I can't find a working solution to that either.
I'm on ARHD 31.3 (I can't update to the latest version since I can't access my phone, arrghhh!!)
Any Ideas?

Damaged screen and touch panel

I have an LG G3 D851 and I recently dropped and cracked my screen and damaged the touch panel. The touch response is non-existent. I don't plan to repair it but I need to extract the contents of the built-in storage. I already removed my micro sd card and of course the contents are safe. Here's my problem: I don't have USB debugging enabled, as I haven't needed it. The USB connection when hooked to my computer is set to charge and not mtp or ptp. I can't change this therefore my computer doesn't recognize the phone as a mass storage device. I have tried a browser add-on called Vysor to no avail. I have downloaded the necessary ADB drivers for my PC, I have downloaded LG's drivers, I have even installed Android Studio and the SDK. I read that a USB OTG adapter would solve my issue but I don't really want to go that route unless I absolutely have to. What I am asking is if any of you kind people know of a possible alternative solution. Thank you in advance.
Update: I tried an OTG adapter and it did nothing.

What is the fastest method for transfering files between Mi 6 and Windows PC?

Hello!
This is more a general question than a specific device question
Lately I've been transferring lots of files and I'm using USB to transfer my files and I found out that the USB port of Xiaomi Mi 6 is a USB 2.0 version even if it is Type-C port.
and I'm looking for a better, faster way of transferring files, I don't care if I have to use USB or WiFi, all that matters is speed
Any suggestions?
Is Wi-Fi better?
Has nothing to do with USB 2.0/3.0, MTP is just ****. A suggestions would be to put all the files in a .zip archive on the PC and transfer that instead. When on the phone use an app which can decompress the zip file and voila
