USB Access for Dopod D810/Trinity P3600

Can anyone tell me is there a way of using the usb port to access things like external USB HDD's with the Dopod D810 / Trinity P3600....
If there is..! can someone give me a link to more info or software where I can get it working..?

just use softstick card exportII u can make ur dopod d810 as USB disk
and lease use search first

There's no way to do it. They are both host devices. It would be like connecting two HHD drives to copy files from one to another. Even if it was possible there is a problem on power supply of the HDD that would drain all PDA's battery!

Hi all,
Is it possible to make my Artemis to work (with desktop PC) like USB hardware (hasp) hardlock key if I already have a dump file of that dongle key?
I need some kind of emulator for my Artemis to communicate with other PC like different hardware (USB) dongles when different Dump files are loaded in on the Pocket PC.

Well you need activesync inorder to see "my device" in "my computer" then you just can treat it like a hard disk drive. Not really sure why you'd do this though considering its a bit of a big flash disk?

Ok, but I don't need my Artemis to emulate card reader.
I want some kind of emulator for my Artemis to communicate with other PC like different hardware (USB) dongles when different Dump files are loaded in software on the Pocket PC.
I need my PC to "think" when Pocket PC is connected and this software is started on the pocket PC with current dump file that this device is one of this USB Hardlock (HASP) dongles, not Pocket PC.

wm5storage does the work.

Just change your windows . If you use the new and "improved" vista it will be recognized as a mass storage device (after a few updates are automaticaly installed). For all other computers I use a bluetooth dongle

[SOLVED] Disk Drive Mode with Xbox

With the new 2.03 official ROMs Xbox 360 no longer recognizes the Diamond in disk drive mode.
SOLVED: I finally figured it out! The issue has to do with the asyncmac.dll file so I created a CAB with a fixed version. Let me know if it doesn't work for anyone (worked for me!).

Try this: Start --> Settings --> Connections Tab --> USB to PC --> Untick "Enable advanced network functionality" and ensure the "Disk Drive (Faster file transfer)" is ticked/marked.
Leave the Ask about connection type ticked if you frequently connect your Diamond to your PC for activesync features.

Thanks for your suggestion. I've already tried this but it doesn't make a difference unfortunately. I've also tried replacing the USBToPCPopup package with older versions but this also has no effect. Any other suggestions?

Ive been going through the same s¨*t, xb360 wont recog my Diamond.

This is awful, I use my Diamond in disk mode on my 360 all the time !
Doesn't anybody know how to solve this problem?

hey frnd. am sorry i don have a solution but i do have a question if you guys could ans. i was planing to buy xbox. and am wondering dat is it possile to use diamond's 4gb storage memory as the memory card for xbox to save games and al? so dat i buy xbax core and use this diamond storage in place of buying a storage for xbox?

Hey Guys! NO you can't use your diamond or any external HDD as a memory card for the Xbox. The USB ports i have been informed are read only. I regularly connect my htc to the xbox and it doesn't allow you to save to it.

The core comes with a 20GB if its old or a 60GB if its new!

The Core pack actually got replaced by the Arcade pack and it includes a 256MO memory card not a hard drive. The hard drives only come with the Premium and Elite packs.

i have always connected my diamond to my xbox360 to view the content of diamond storage. now only with rom 2.03 it dont work

It works perfectly with my PS3 Even via Bluetooth

I tried this but it made no difference. I'm guessing WM5torage accesses the USB for disk drive mode the same way HTC's USBtoPC app does...

HEY!! it worked ausomeee!! thanks alot! just a little curious as to why it didn't work on the xbox b4 the fix? doesn't the xbox treat it like any other external hardisk?

If i connect my phone it just mounts (not as mass storage) but the media server.
Which basically works the same as mass storage, No kies involved i don't even have kies installed.

both modes it uses SUCK. usb mass storage is the only way to go.
if you're rooted you might be able to try a nice little command to make it go into storage mode. if you are google enable usb mass storage mode and try it out.

It works fine on Note 2 even though its made for S3, you might get com.process.media error when click UMS, just go and turn off Media Storage in app manager and it should connects just fine.

It's great and transfers any size of file quite fast

I'm just having this amazing phone but i'm a little bit disappointed when I connect it on my mac because I can't use it without "LG PC SUITE"
I can't find it in my finder like an usb storage and so I find it not very practical to use.
Have you any tips to use it like an usb storage?

If u can't install LG PC sure on your mac then install windows on your mac... I am sure u can install windows on your mac

Just use Android transfer for mac from here
no need to install windows for copying files from phone to mac.

Cheers but I didn't say I had a problem to install LG PC SUITE, I have it on my mac... I would just use my phone like an usb storage or usb key when I connect it on my mac and that is the problem, it doesn't appear like a usb storage.

Don't think thats possible with Android on a Mac, Steve Jobs made sure of that. The link I posted above will let you copy/delete/rename stuff on your phone, both internal and external SD, other than that what exactly do you want to do with the phone ?

Ha damn it!
When I had my HTC Desire HD it worked like an usb storage and it was great 'cause I could have to do a lot of things but now I'm very pissed off to know it's not possible!!!
