This looks very cool, a TPU case that doesn't cover the power button. That was the biggest reason I didn't like my tpu case that I had previously bought. Anyone have this on yet? Looks like it is OEM from HTC.

That website is awesome!
They look pretty nice but the cutout for the camera flash on the back looks too small. It might result in off-colored photos
I like that grey one a lot! TPU case with OEM quality? I think I'll get one.
Hmmm HTC Pedia has them for cheap!

i actually prefer the ones without the cut-outs. i keep it in my pocket all day, and the amount of dust and junk getting between the case & phone would be crazy with that case.
i got one of these and the buttons are pretty easy to find & push because they are built up on the outside of the tpu case.

I don't think two extra cut outs is going to make all that much difference as my currently one already has 7 holes in it. I hate the fact that my current one has the dock pins exposed so I going to try the HTC one out. Additionally, I find it hard using the covered camera button. The extra force required moves the camera enough sometimes to make a difference.
I ordered it from DayDeal and it should be at my house in a couple of days being we are both in CA.

With a cut-out the power button will be recessed so this might not be an issue. I'll report back after I get my HTC one and compare it to my Epik one.

Excellent find. I've been very disappointed with my T-Mobile silicone case. It's not nearly as heavy or rigid as the silicone case I had on my Vibrant, and attracts so much lint!
Just a heads up: NewEgg has the OEM HTC TPU case for $10.
Item search: HTC 70H00324-00M
I will probably pick this up, if others seem to be happy with it. It's a shame that I'll have to remove the case every time I want to use any docks (assuming we'll ever see charging pin docks besides this one).

I have been looking for cases lately, and I was thinking - A regular case will take away from the beauty of the phone, I like to have my phone without a case but unfortunately accidents do happen and I would be very disappointed if something did (such as my phone dropped etc..).
So I was thinking it might be nice to have some type of belt clip or holster, but I have never been in the market for that type of case -maybe you could make some recommendations ?
I was thinking I would prefer a vertical case instead of a horizontal one because that seems like it would be odd to have that on my belt in that position ...at least the vertical one I could clip it to the inside of my pocket....
idk - please advise me though...
Tmobile makes a holster that you can rotate vertical and horizontal. You can also invisible shield the whole phone for added protection just in case you drop it. I'm in the same boat so looking at options also.

I bought the myTouch leather holster for work.

The one at the T-mo store is a clear plastic with just a bit of opaqueness to it. You holster the phone in screen side down so the screen is protected from any scratches.
It actually looks quite nice. I might get this one just because if and when the docking stations come out, I don't want to bother with taking the phone in and out of a case, since all the cases I've seen cover up the dock buttons.

I hear a lot of people complaining about their invisible shield , things such as turning yellow or not protecting the WHOLE complete phone or even just not completely protecting it from a fall (I.e. it still gets dents / scratches or cracks)...

yes. the smoke colored one. The plastic seems sturdy, and the phone fits in solid.
I went to T-mo store and the boxes that the cases come in can be opened from the back. I asked them for a demo unit (wasn't gonna use mine ) and tried on every case, and that's when I noticed none of them had openings for the dock buttons.

maybe it can be customized to fit with the dock opening?...
but as far as the Holsters / Beltclips thing goes - I was thinking of putting an InvisibleShield (or something similar) protecting the whole phone, then have a Holster/Beltclip/ Pouch for it....
Does that sound good or reasonable? Maybe you might have other alternatives?...
I found this link by google:
http://www.letstalk.com/tmobile-mytouch-4g-cell-phone-accessories
they have some decent looking holsters...
I had an idea though, I do not have to order one specifically for the MT4G, I can get one of a phone with similar dimensions (i.e. iphone 4 holsters, or nexus 1 holsters, etc...)

Yo,
I had one of these bad boys for my Incredible S so ordered one a few days back for the One X.
I've just realised something. With this case on, you lose the connectivity of the rear docking port (little metal dots) or I presume you do anyway.
E.G you wouldn't be able to use this dock I don't think
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/htc-cr-s650-desktop-cradle-with-speakers-for-htc-one-x-p34381.htm
Can anybody clarify?
You can't use a dock with any case, so no point having holes
As HTC whore says you cant use any case with a docking station you would just remove the case to use the dock then put it back on when going out with your phone
I have this case, so hard to take it off!
Picked one up from the Blackpool store this morning, will be taking it back for a refund tomorrow. Daren't even fit it, it's that tight a fit. If it's tight to get on I doubt I'll get it off. The phone is pretty slim and I have visions of snapping it !!
It's not hard to take off at all, I've put mine on and off a few times
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Indeed, the case isn't hard to take on and off. If anything I had to take it on and off only to line up the grooves for the speaker hole and made sure the edges weren't squished down. The case is nice but only drawback is how much lint/dust it attracts on the rubber/silicon part.
I agree only drawback is the dust etc om the rubber section but for the protection it offers I am happy

That's a very generalised statement, and you come accross pretty arrogant if I'm honest ........ If thats true why do the official HTC cases have a cut out for the Pogo port ?
Also, Mine isn't straight on the bottom edge. Is anybody elses like this?
The hard plastic part is almost wavey on the bottom, this stops the soft rubber sitting properly - Got pictures if needs be

I have emailed you guys but I bought the case from Amazon so not sure where I stand there.
I have also noticed - the "Lock/Unlock" rubber on the inner case does not 100% line up with the actuall button on my phone. I would say its around 3-4mm over to the left, It still covers around half the button so it does press but it's not as responsive as it should be and I am always pressing my button on one side (Could eventually cause a problem)
I am begining to think my case may be a clone - Another thing I have notice is the hard plastic part is nowhere near as grippy as my last case mate case. It's kinda slippy.
Build quality on my last case mate case was amazing - this one is below average , at best.
I tried to get it on video - in the loo at work, sorry about that haha.
I had to use front camera and a mirror as I don't have another camera on me atm
I marked the CaseMate button A and the phone button B
It's quite hard to see but you can make it out

The power button on the tough case is misaligned and indeed the hard case is pretty slippery. I hope case-mate corrects these issues.

$5.95 shipped with prime (shipping costs may vary) + tax where applicable.
I had been looking for a bumper case for my new S3, and luckily stumbled upon the above case. I had a similar case for my Incredible from Griffin and loved the added protection.
This one from Fosmon is no different. The back is polycarbonate but transparent with a bit of a frosted appearance. The branding on the back is still easy to see. The edge around the sides is tpu with molding for the buttons plus a texture right where my right hand would hold it.
The cut outs for the headphones and usb are large enough where it shouldn't block anything being plugged in. There are holes for the mic and/or other sensors.
I do find the power button is more difficult to activate, but it's not because of the tpu being too tough - its not - its more about the feeling of where it should be as I am coming from a Galaxy Nexus.
Shipping from SF Planet was fast. With a holiday in between, I ordered on the 3rd and received it on the 7th.
I'm glad I found this on the first try. It's exactly what I wanted in a case for a great price.

I have the same case and have no complaints about it! All buttons are very easy to press
I just received this today. Great for the money, but I wish the back was completely clear rather than frosted.
The fit and feel is really good and the bumper feels like it will do the job. Nice ridge to protect the screen if the phone is face down, but not much extra bulk.
I'm sure they frosted it to minimize seeing all scratches a glossy clear back would end up getting and showing.
Great case.
I didn't want a case. But I got one anyway and I'm glad I got this one. It's not super bulky, and yet it feels like it should provide pretty good drop protection on all sides. Here's a few pics.
Sorry I couldn't help but toss in a picture of my awesome blue/carbon battery cover. Love that thing!

Could you post a picture straight on of the back? The angled one makes it look like it's not very see-through. I'm curious if the branding and texture of the original battery cover shows through.

It's certainly frosted and not crystal clear. Sorry my stock rear cover is at home but that one is clear enough to read the TMobile and GS3 branding on the back.

Covered and they respond very nicely
Received this case today, and WOW!!! It's exactly what this phone screams for.
Blocks the screen with a minor lip for glass down resting. Side grip on both sides, and the covered buttons work great.
The clear back protects the camera and battery door, while allowing for customization of the battery door.
Doesn't add much size, and the weight is barely noticeable.
If your on the fence about a case, the low price makes this a gotta try!

I got mine yesterday and noticed the same thing. I just put a little piece of paper in the groove on the inside of the power button cover. I don't get a nice clicky feel/response, but I don't have to press in very hard to get it to work.
I got my neo hybrid lumi case in the mail today ( I go the blue and grey) and wanted to do a quick review.
First off all let me say, that so far I haven't had any of the problems with the buttons some people have been talking about. The volume rocker is a bit sensitive, but I haven't had any problem with it changing on it's own. Also simply holding firm on the sides won't push my buttons either, I squeezed all around the edges and didn't have any problems.
This case looks awesome it is very sleek and doesn't add much bulk to the phone. The holes for ports are all cut smoothly and adequately. The port on the camera is the very slightest bit uneven but nothing anyone would probably notice unless they were really looking and definitely not anything that will effect the use of the camera or protection.
The TPU portion of this case is slightly different than I was expecting. It is a bit harder and less flexible than I expected. My biggest problem with the case is that the TPU is very slick. It offers very little if nothing at all in the way of grip.
As far as protection goes, I haven't dropped my case or done anything extreme, but the case seems to offer very decent protection especially considering how sleek it is. The back and corners are well protected and feel pretty confident that if I did drop it I wouldn't have any scratches or major damage on my phone. There is a nice lip around the front screen to give a buffer if it were to be set down on it's face. The case fits snug and I don' think would fall off if dropped.
Overall I am very happy with this case, I was hoping for a bit more grip, but I really can't complain considering how good it looks and the protection I'm getting
I had one of these for my iPhone 4 and the plastic shell snapped when I was taking it off.
How dangerous/sturdy is it on the GS3 version?

My screen protector doesn't fit in the least. It covers part of the front facing camera and yet there is ample space at the right of the home button. If you can imagine that, you'll understand just how off mine is. It goes on well but my cut outs are quite off.
I also have the button issues. I just got mine today. Throwing an email to them tonight.

I got this case a few days ago and immediatley noticed the volume button sensitivity issue as soon as I installed it. The issue I experianced is that any time I put any pressure anywhere near the volume rocker, it would depress the button and raise/lower the volume. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times but no matter what I did the issue remained. Emailed SPG and they requested photos and or video of the problem. They also wanted to know which S3 varinat I had. Hopefully I just got a bad one because I think it is a nice case otherwise.

Yup that's exactly what happened to me. I was the one who 1st posted the issue and now after a couple of days I got use to the sesnsativity of the buttons and where not to squeeze but I will be contacting them I think that's way to much for me to let slide for such a high quality case. I still slip at times and it's just annoying have to hit the back button every time you press the power button for to long and getting the shut off option when you are in the middle of something.
why dont you guys remove the case and push outward on the inside of the volume rocked portion to stretch it out a little bit.
use something small to get right in there
yeah i have the same color!! I thought I broke the case cuz it got dissembled. Have no problem with it so far.

I've had mine for about two weeks now and haven't had too many issues with the volume sensitivity. Occasionally it happens after I've taken the case off and put it back on but then I just adjust the case and it doesn't happen anymore. I can squeeze both sides near the rocker and power button and they will not activate and when changing the volume the controls don't stick.
I did think the case was going to be a little thicker than it is and I doubt the plastic frame adds much more protection. This is one reason I'm debating buying another case with a little more protection (commuter/aegis/active type case).
I do like the looks of the case, which is one of the reasons I bought one instead of sticking with the Diztronic cases I have which are also pretty good.
So I received this case today (I live in Australia, postage takes forever). I have issues with the sensitivity of the buttons as they often stick. I've emailed Spigen about what they will do but I'll probably just take a razor or something to the inside buttons and wear them down a little.
On a positive note though, the packaging is amazing and the case feels like it is sturdier than my cheap tpu case from Ebay. It also looks great.

So after about a week of having the case on the phone, I have to say its a great case.
When I initially got it, it was TOO tight. So tight, that it would basically make my phone keep rebooting (pressing against the power button). I had planned on cutting out the section where the power button is altogether, but in the end i created too small slits on each side of the button indention. Once I did that, the case was good to go. It's a solid case. The grips on the side make it much easier to hold the phone. My biggest liking of this case is the hard plastic backing. I'm not a fan of complete rubber cases or complete plastic cases, both tend to have faults some how. But this case is the best of both worlds. The plastic and rubber sections are both in areas where its most beneficial. The case didn't make the phone too bulky either, thankfully. I think this case is only available in 2 colors, Grey & White and White & Grey (the color i have). If you're looking for a solid case that doesn't create too much bulk, then get this one. :good:

It's a solid case. The grips on the side make it much easier to hold the phone. My biggest liking of this case is the hard plastic backing. I'm not a fan of complete rubber cases or complete plastic cases, both tend to have faults some how. But this case is the best of both worlds. The plastic and rubber sections are both in areas where its most beneficial. The case didn't make the phone too bulky either, thankfully. I think this case is only available in 2 colors, Grey & White and White & Grey (the color i have). If you're looking for a solid case that doesn't create too much bulk, then get this one. :good:

Great review. I bought this on Amazon for $22 shipped with some extra gift card money I got from work. I also bought the Kensington Virtouso Stylus / Pen for making a few notes on the QuickMemo app.

I'd like to know how that stylus pen works out for you. I'd be interesting in getting one.
^^I can't comment on this specific one, but in general these kind of stylus (with soft rubber tip) are pretty bad; I've tried a bunch, ranging from $1 to $30. They are all not very responsive (have to press hard on the screen to register sometimes) and you can feel the drag when swiping across the screen.
