Activating problem after flashing ROM - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed a ROM and my phone was messed up so I switched back to my old phone. Well now I have my Desire back up and running with cyanogen mod 7, but when I tried to activate it, it says "Unfortunately, there's an error with your request. The ESN/MEID is associated with another wireless carrier, a wireless Internet card, an analog phone, or a non-e911 compliant phone. For assistance, please call Customer Service."
What in the world should I do?
I'm with Alltel and I didn't back up my stock ROM before flashing.

does anyone have any ideas? It would be GREAT to be able to use my desire :/

Reverting back to Sprint from a flash?

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here and I hope I can find some help on this issue that has been bothering me. I recently jumped on a great deal for an I/O HTC Evo for $300 on Craigslist that is still active on Sprint. I went ahead and decided to have a shop that I also found on CL flash my phone to a Cricket Wireless account I had.
The phone was flashed and the talk/text/and 3G data were all working, but not very reliable. Calls were dropping, texts took forever to send/receive and data on everything besides the browser was slow or not even working. I severely regretted going through with the flash at this point.
I've tried clearing the storage by holding the vol. down and pressing the power button in attempt to reset the phone back to factory conditions, but when it boots up, the phone is still associated to Cricket. The person at the Sprint store was also unable to get the phone working back with the HTC Demo account and said the phone was made to automatically associate itself to the sprint network but it wasn't doing it.
My question now is where and what do I look for in changing my phone back to Sprints settings? I'm thinking that they physically flashed some kind of firmware or flashed PRL file to the phone but I don't know how to update or revert this change.
What are my options?
Thanks for reading.
flashing a evo stock rom should do the trick. gives u all the settings. all the apps. basically everything if im not wrong
I'm gonna try this with the file posted at geekforme and see what happens. Thanks for this advice, didn't think of this.
So far I've rooted and unlocked nand then flashed the Stock EVO ROM but it's still associated with Cricket...
When I go to About Phone > Phone identity , its showing my current username @mycricket.com, how do I change this?
I wanna completely clear any cricket connection off the phone.. Is there any deactivation code I can dial?
I updated the PRL using techknowfiles 00001.prl with no luck. What else can I try to undo this cricket flash?
I've already flashed it with the stock Evo rom and it is still working through the cricket phone number.

Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped

HI,
I'm having this error message on boot and I can't find a solution. Every search I've made for this error comes up empty. The final solution being restore to factory. After doing that and trying to reinstall the rom I get the same error. Phone FC and i don't get time synched from the network anymore.
I'm not using TB. I'm not restoring any data. This is on a fresh clean install of the rom.
Any ideas? I need help!
What did you flash in terms or rom, mods, themes, and how did you flash?
Sent from my Galaxy SII T-mobile using Tapatalk 2
I flashed the new Darkside rom with the TMO base. I'm starting to think that the new base is conflicting with my sim card... I'm not sure what to do about it... I'm with Virgin Mobile in Canada if that makes any difference...
No mods and no themes. Its just on first boot. Any other base seems to work fine. But since the TMO base I get that FC.
Could be a bad download, unlikely but if you haven't tried yet re-download the ROM
I've redownloaded multiple times and checked the md5... so the dl itself is fine... the install is fine... but once it connects to the network com.android.phone force closes... Do you know how to reset the network settings on the sim card itself?
process com.android phone has stopped
Hi,
My HTC One XL from Rogers is doing this when the address book syncs in the car. I have it de-bloated, rooted, and unlocked boot loader. My problem is that nothing seems to have changed. The phone works (Bluetooth )in the car until the address book is synched (or so it seems), then it cuts out. What to do?
Same problem with my ROM. I am using Reliance GSM in India. I tried with Vodafone & Airtel SIM and the phone works perfectly normal. Tried with my Dad's Reliance GSM and the problem is back. Dunno what the problem is exactly. Other ROMs work perfectly fine with Reliance in my cell. Problem is only with this one ROM. Incase you stumble upon a solution, pl do let me know as well.
My Original ROM with the same error
Hello everyone
My phone is Samsung S3, with original software, it asked me to update the system and i agreed after that i found it add some information such as it;s from United Emirates but i live in kuwait, and now i have the same error only when i try to make international call.
please any help without reset the phone?!!!
On some ROMs, they say it has something to do with the DPI
I've encountered this problem on AOKP 07/09 Milestone 6, and from searching in the forums, all I could gather is that it has something to do with my DPI settings.
On 07/05 it was okay, I just don't get it why flashing to 07/09 made this error appear.
UPDATE Now I discovered that turning the phone into Airplane mode removes this error. But then if you deactivate airplane mode again it comes back.

Unable to turn on wifi (NTelos rom needed)

Hi all, sorry to troll, but I have an almost brand new HTC One V on the NTELOS (Virginia) network. After I rooted it, (using the htcdev onlock procedure), I attempted to install cyanogenmod 10 on it.
I thought that I had a good backup, but unfortunately did not notice the backup had failed due to not enough space on the sd card.
When CM10 did not proceed beyond the boot screen, I held down the power key and forced the unit off.
From that point on, any rom I install does not allow me to turn on or connect to any network (mobile or wifi).. When I check for the WIFI Mac address, it says 'unknown'. I am thinking this is a kernel issue, but each kernel I have tried either does not recognize the wifi radio, or does and crashes whenever the cell side tries to roam.
So, if anyone has a stock/good backup for this phone on the NTelos network (virgin mobile apparently has a different radio/config), I would be grateful. As now, ironically, I have a smart phone that cannot get data.

[DEV HELP NEEDED] Stock based ROM, Mobile Network Not Available

Guys,
I'm trying to make a ROM for the Verizon Galaxy Note Edge from stock. Yes, I know this is the wrong forum BUT...there are only a few of us with the phone and there has been no developer interest which is completely understandable. NPJohnson was kind enough to do the work so that we could convert to the developer edition from the retail edition. This phone is very similar and so I'm hoping one of the devs here has ran into the problem and can point me in the right direction.
The problem: I've made a ROM based on the stock firmware and it boots (which is further than I thought I'd get) and gets working 4G. However, I can't get it to connect for calls or sms. It keeps showing "Searching for service" under Network in phone info. My phone number, MIN, PRL and IMEI are all present. I've tried removing the SIM card and reinserting it and still nothing. I can flash my original backup and it's fine again.
Why I think it can be fixed: Back when the Developer Edition was first released, one of the users put out a stock, rooted ROM, unfortunately, he is no longer active on XDA. Going back and following his posts I see that he ran into the same issue and then resolved it but there was nothing posted about how it was resolved.
If you can help, have suggestions, recommend other tools or forums, anything, it would be greatly appreciated.

Network configuration corrupt with Cyanogenmod backup.

Hello, so here is my problem. I have been using Cyanogenmod 13 on my LG G3/ls990 for months now. Recently I needed a static IP address through Sprint. When they applied the static IP to my account, I was stuck on 3G, even though I mostly have LTE. Basically what I did was use an old stock rom backup to update my PRL/Profile. This brought back my LTE service. Then I reloaded my CM13 backup. Unfortunately, at first it didn't recognize my sim card, and then it only recognized 3G. Okay, so no problem, I decided I would just go back to the stock rom and clean install a new custom rom. Unfortunately, when I went back to the stock rom, it was also stuck on 3G and this time when I tried to update the PRL/Profile it didn't work, I am guessing because it already saw these as updated. So after a few chats with Sprint's tech support, I was able to get LTE to work again. She said a particular network configuration file wasn't working right, and she did something which was suppose to fix it. As instructed, I typed in code ##72786# after she did it, and LTE worked perfectly. Stupidly, I thought it would be as simple as reloading my CM13 backup. Yet it did it again when I loaded the backup, and now I am stuck on 3G again. Before this I didn't really connect the two together. Does anyone know what exactly is happening here? Tomorrow I plan to call Sprint again, to get them to fix the file, but is there a way I can do it myself, in case I have this problem again when I install a new custom rom? For example, if I go into ##Data# will I fix things by changing a setting in there or something? I hate having to talk to Sprint every time this messes up, and yeah, I know it was stupid of me to do the same thing twice, but it was a day apart and I forgot what I had done the first time. Hopefully whomever I talk to tomorrow can figure out what the woman I spoke with did, because she definitely knew what she was doing. Thank you for all of your help!
Update: Called Sprint they reset my network and I have LTE again. I am somewhat wary of installing a new rom but would like one for resolving performance issues and wifi tether. I downloaded an unofficial Lineage 15 Rom yesterday while I was on 3g only, but it couldn't find my sim. Is there a way to backup my current network settings?
Update 2: So I just tried a fresh install of Lineage 15 and it didn't work. First it recognized cell but no data. Then I went into data settings chose carrier settings that crashed, "android.com. [something]has stopped working" , the sim was unrecognizable after that and the carrier settings weren't there any longer. I backed up my EFS partition in the stock rom before installing, but then I was stuck on 3g even despite that. I called Sprint again, and got them to reset my network settings. Don't want to keep calling them though.
Anybody here with Sprint and a static IP that can recommend a ROM that will work and not mess up my network settings? I don't care if it is Marshmallow or Nougant, I just want something that doesn't overheat my phone and which I can have native tethering.
EDIT: I was able to install Fullmics and retain my LTE.
