OH NO, guys PLEASE help me.
My phone will not boot, at all. Not to normal or to recovery.
I was running MIUI 0.2.21, I was about to nand restore because of poor battery life.
So I booted into recovery, Did factory wipe. Then went to Nand and tried to run Nand restore. The phone gave error, I didn't pay enough attention to it I guess.
The message said something like "error, Nand Restore unsuccessful, run adb.restore.ssh via ADB"
Or something close to that.
I powered down and was going to reboot back to recovery to try again, however the phone now will NOT do anything, I don't know what to do. Can anyone help Me???
Nevermind. After sitting 20 minutes with no battery, I was able to boot as normal. WHEW!!! That was scary!
that error means you have insufficient battery, let it charge

any ideas on how to fix this?
Edit: also using amon ra recovery
Did you buy any chance rename your Nand backup?
Make sure your SD card has plenty of free space on it, that can sometimes cause it.

haha alright thanks for the help
I posted a fix for this in the development forums. It has also been pointed out that this message appears when your battery charge is too low (

+ 1. Happened too me too and after getting the battery above 30% I was fine.
Seeing as how my phone probably has hardware issue making income volume not hear-able at ALL as if it was on mute, I will order a replacement.
Which would be the best way to un-root?
Nandroid backup
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=705345
or
Champion build by eugene?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=713507
Im on CM7 btw.
I find it much easier to just do the nand-restore way..
Has anyone tried it that way?
and i need to have radio 7.08, right? i have it already installed.

just put the eng zip from the champions build into your sd card, wait for it to tell you if you which to update via recovery, choose yes by pressing volume up I believe, then wait... reboot when it tells you if you which to reboot, then thats all I did that around like.. 6 days for my replacement no need to push the files or anything.

lol eng as in "SlideEng-package.zip" or esprimg?
Cuz there is this that sounds just like what you're saying..
Ive Decided to Post the Factory Rom due to Request & I've already saw one or two Problems from the Phone so far, and thought it would be a good idea to give everyone the Option to go back to Stock!!
Just Rename > ESPRIMG(2).zip
to ESPRIMG.zip & place on the Root of your Sdcard..
1.
Power Off the Phone either by Power Down / Battery Pull..
2.
Hold Volume Down + Power Button..
3.
Walk away, get a soda / Give the Better half a Kiss or two
4.
Hit the Volume Up key to Confirm to Flash.
Once Done you will have a Stock Espresso Phone again..

You got misinformed by a post further up. You flash this via HBOOT, not recovery. Boot into hboot by pressing vol down + power. Then it will prompt you to flash.

yeah well i was using odin and then i unplugged my phone.. now what
Go back into download mode and redo odin this time don't pull.
it wont boot though
try this ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1042746
no luck.. great :/
Let it sit for a little bit ...
but if that doesn't work
delete everything off of your sd card ...
go to sprint tell them you finally let it get the OTA upgrade and now it wont boot up.

what if i dont have insurance or funds to replace it?
If it was caused by an OTA update and they can't boot it then tey will replace it for you free because it was the OTA update's fault not yours

Did you try with the battery removed, and just connected via the USB?
I also think there is a special pin hole on the back under tha back case, that does a full drain/reset, but I couldn't find the thread that showed its location with a quick search

Running TWRP, restoring back to FreeGS3, which worked the other day but now it appears that the restore process is stuck. It's been stuck in the same spot for close to 10 minutes. Not sure what to do. Advice please!!
TWRP version 2.2.1.1.
Its okay to pull battery and just make sure you go straight to recovery. I've done it multiple times on all different phones. Vol up and physical home button and power

Ok...still stuck. It moved but it appears to be stuck at the same spot it was stuck before so I will try to remove battery and boot into recovery.
Thanks guys...scared the crap out of me. Restored AOKP...and it's running fine. Thank you all for your help.

If you hold power+home+volume up it gets you into custom recovery
if you hold power+home+volume down it puts your phone into download mode. Can you get to either of these?

yes I can still access those option.
I think I accidentally erased :touchwiz: app from my phone. And some how my phone just froze.
So I did reset factory and erase data.
As of now I just rooted my phone again and try to restore my "backup" before this things happen.
Q: how can I install :touchwiz: to my phone?
Q: How can I keep my custom recovery mode?
Q: Can I make my phone to "Sff" condition?
Q: How should I do inside download mode?
Thank you for all the quick support, I will try to replay ASAP because I have to work with an odd hour schedule.
If you can access custom recovery which is power+hone+up volume your phone should still be rooted and everything is fine. All you need is a ROM to flash. Take your SD card out and using a computer download a TW rom and put it on your SD card. Put the SD card into the phone and boot into the custom recovery and flash the rom.
Use the stock rom on this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6 you can use either of the first two, I would use the 2nd one DeOdexed sprint stock rom. Good luck.
