I searched but nothing besides launcher pro and widget locker which gave me too many fc's so im back at the beginning i want to hide the status bar on lock screen hopefully someone knows how to do this or know of a stable app that helps if not thanks anyway.
I don't know is this enabled on all rom's but on Calkulin you just need to scroll up on top of the screen and status bar hide (same thing to show),
For Menu bar you scroll up on the bottom and menu hide, you scroll down at (same place) bottom and menu show up again.
Hope I didn't misunderstood your question, and again hope all rom's have this enabled.

Have you tried upgrading to Mik 4.4 and see if it still does? Could nand your current set up. Load up 4.4, install widgetlocker and run it on base to see if you still get FC's.

I DO NOT want a lockscreen on my HTC EVO. I already uninstalled the htc lockscreen then I was left with a transparent vanilla lockscreen that you slide from left to right. I dont want any lockscreen. please help.

Switchpro has a toggle that disables the lockscreen. It's in there as "auto lock screen". Works just like it's supposed to.
so I dont want to use anyones half working apps to block my lockscreens. I want to literally go into a file on my evo and uninstall all lockscreens, HTC and Vanilla
Switchpro works great and works 100% of the time.

come on I know some of you are tired of having an app that trys to block your factory lockscreen only to have it kick back in sometime. For example if you have LockBot pro lockscreen running, it does a ok job trying to keep your factory lockscreen not to kick in. So I just dont want any kind of lockscreen running. that way my lockbot pro can run without any issues

this has been hell for awhile now, all people keep saying is to install some half working app from the market...everyone of those dont work all the time, I've test just about every one, and my factory lockscreen shows its ugly face after a while
Like I said...No HTC or Vanilla lockscreens... this is the vanilla lockscreen I'm talking about that kicks in after the uninstall of HTC Lockscreen I'm left with this:

Yeah, It will require some code editing. I don't believe that there is a simple uninstall. Try decompiling the services.jar and see if you can find the lockscreen call.
No Lock app from the market, works like a charm.

you can get this on Cm6 but right not no devs are willing to do all this work then have to redo it when an official 2.2 is out

If you are rooted you can use the 5 second rule bypass on the widgetlocker advance options.
If you are not rooted then use the homehelper option in the widgetlocker options.
I use no lock with widget locker. It disables the stock lock but does cause a half second lag for the screen to turn on, which doesn't bug me as much. The lag could be caused by my widgets though, not sure
So does anyone know if someone has ported this to work with EB13 or any of the custom roms? I've used to on he CM7 Alpha build, and I was wonderinf if someone took the time to port it. I'd do it myself, but at this point I have little to no knowlegde with any of the languages used to program this stuff.
I'm not sure if this is allowed, but bump haha.

I believe plenty of people have done it already. Its a simple framework image that needs changing. 100% possible.

Please assist, as I would very much like to have a modified lockscreen.

You could just get WidgetLocker, which in addition to allowing widgets on the lockscreen, also allows you to have alternate wallpapers, and modify the lock pictures and method (i.e. unlock like HTC Sense, Sense3, iPhone, as well as ICS).

Hey guys, has anyone seen this before? I'm running 4.0.4 stock, rooted and deodexed. I customized the launcher slightly as you can see (removed search bar at the top and added the BMW logo at the bottom). It has been fine for months, now all of a sudden I am getting this. At first a reboot would fix it, but now that doesn't even seem to do it. Please help!

how do i fix? do i need to find a new launcher2.apk or just reinstall my current one?
Tried reflashing my modified launcher2.apk with no luck...anyone know of any fixes?

The troubleshooting steps I'd try would be:
1. Change fonts.
2. Install a different launcher, such as Apex or Nova.
If changing fonts doesn't fix it, and Apex doesn't have the same issue, then it's definitely the launcher. If the other launcher has the same problem, I don't know what to tell you.
Just installed Apex and I'm actually happier now than before. The only thing I miss is the BMW roundel logo as my app drawer launcher icon at the button of the screen (as seen in the pic above) otherwise, it is working even better than before. Hopefully it stays this way!

It came back :/ just updated to 4.0.4 IMM76 hopefully that'll fix it

You can still have the BMW logo on Apex. Long-press any icon, edit, touch the icon, see your replacement options.

When you guys press the power button and it goes to the lock screen, your status/notification bar is transparent, correct? However, when you slide to unlock, does your guys status bar go black for a quick second and then back to transparent?

Opened the framework file and it appears that the png is still there for the Bean Flinger. However from reading around the ability to activate the feature is removed by HTC on Sense 5 phones/roms, I have not seen this confirmed by anyone actually from HTC though.
At least the op said beanflinger and not bean flicking. You all know that's a syndrome nowadays right?
