Hi Guys,
First I tried searching I honestly did and didn't find any answers to my question so here goes:
I was wondering was there a way to back up multiple gmail / apps accounts for sync?
Each time I switch a ROM i have to add all my gmail and apps accounts. Is there a way to back this process up and restore it from one ROM to another?
Thank you for your help in advance,
Regards.

I have recently purchased the HTC Desire HD and its an amazing phone. So glad to be away from Apple - amazing to have so much control over my phone again.
I have rooted, installed Android Revolution - and I am currently trying to find ways to improve my battery life - thanks to all the great posts on here about that, I have spent ages reading and tweaking the phone. The best thing is however I can carry round spare batteries! Good bye iPhone
Anyway I have a slight problem that I think is related specifically to the HTC. I have a Google Apps Domain account. I have set up the Gmail Sync for Contacts / Calendar - but the sync is only one way. So all changes online from my laptop change the contacts on the phone but not the other way round? E-mail syncs fine as well... just not calendar / contacts - I have seen problems online with Gmail accounts - but not with Google Apps accounts - do you guys have any ideas?
Cheers

Clear data of any google applications from setting may help.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
And let it resync? Won't I loose all the new data off the phone??
Cheers
anyone got any more ideas on this one?

Weird...you have it set to sync manually or automatically? Also check what google synchronizes under accounts and sync...see if contacts and calendar are there. I ve never had any problems
hey thanks for getting back to me... I have set it to auto sync in background, contacts checked - new ones come down to phone from account but when a new on on the phone is made - it doesn't go back up to Google Apps account

Hi,
this is an old topic, but I had exactly the same problem. Clearing the data and cache from Gmail totally helped. It resynced everything and it is working normal again. Thx for the idea jokies.
Hi guys,
Sorry if this issue has already been posted. I've done some quick search and didn't find any effective solution.
My Galaxy Nexus is on stock 4.0.4, latest build available. I have three accounts set up on the device:
- Gmail 1
- Gmail 2
- Skype
I want only the contacts from account Gmail 1 to be shown in the People app and the contacts tab in the Phone app. I've tried everything. The standard setting where I select only contacts from the desired account to be shown doesn't work as it should. Once I quit the app and open it again, all contacts from the three accounts are shown. I also tried to remove all accounts and set them up again, no effect.
I am trying to avoid a factory reset. Is there any other option you guys can think about? Any setting that I may not know about?
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
i just installed my first ICS rom and I am very suprised how smooth everything is working. I have one issue though: I set up my corporate email account and can sync my emails without a problem. However, my corporate calendar is not syncing. I checked the settings and tried syncing manually without success. I can't even select my calendar within the calendar app. It only shows my gmail calendar.
I found some old threads recommending installing even older versions of gapps. Is this solution still valid or is there a more up to date solution?
thanks in advance for any advice

Anybody who can help me? Can somebody who is using CM9 confirm whether they are experiencing the same issue or not?
Have you checked to see if this is a general issue, rather than a desire/spazedog specific issue? You may have better luck in general android forums
Hello guys,
First day on the forum, and I've actually been using the forum for a really long time without actually registering. For the first time ever, I've actually encountered a problem that does not already have a solution I can apply.
I just flashed cyanogenmod on my phone, after a really long time of rooting and not actually doing much with the root. I really need to have facebook sync into my contacts because I never really add people into my contacts, I just add them on facebook, and then I get their number and email, so all contact information is stored neatly and organized. Now that I have cyanogenmod I find it hard (impossible) to sync my contacts into my phone. I downloaded the app, and I then added the account into the accounts section in the settings. I waited for the sync then looked into my contacts and I could not find any contacts from my facebook.
I am using cyanogenmod 11.0 on my SGS3 Sprint, really hope someone can help me, thank you.
Hey guys, hope all your day is all great!
I have a bit of an issue with google calendar. I log into my Google account as per normal on Lollipop and everything syncs fine, except my calendar. I can get back into the account settings and i look through everything that i can sync, and calendar just doesn't show up. I have had this problem on a couple Lollipop ROMS, and i fixed it last time, but i can't for the life of me remember how. I've been trying to figure out this for a few days now, and I'm stumped even after all my research. I could be missing something so simple. But I have done the basics, remove the account, put it in again, put in two accounts, (seconds account wont work with calendar either) . The works.
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks,
Brad
