help me,
I had a problem on my O2 XDA Atom Pure
the problem is: after I did the boot from the miniSD card, then my cell phone had died completely.
so how can I turn it back to normal?
Have you tried pulling the battery and reseat and power it back on? Do you get anything on the screen at all?

Hi.
My Artemis doesn't turn on, and doesn't even charge.
I don't know what has happened, it was in suspend mode, i pressed the power button, and the screen lights up all white.
I had to remove the battery to turn it off.
Now it doesn't do anything. I tried the soft and hard reset, but to no avail.
Is it dead?
PS: I left it without battery for a couple of hours, and it turned on, but then the screen turns all white, and it's dead again.
boot problem
Hi,
I have the same problem.
It doesn´t turn on and it doesn´t charge.
I don´t know how to flash the artemis. I can not enter in bootloader mode and I can´t sync it because activesync doesn´t work.
I remove the battery too but it turns off. I tried a soft and hard reset but
It does nothing.
any solution? please
Thank you
had a similar problem last month too. sent it back to htc authorised service dealer and was diagnosed with a faulty motherboard. luckily, it's still under warranty and they changed the MB. all functioning well now..
I've had five different motherboards and I'm still in trouble - I suspect there is a bad batch out there, as my original worked fine for about six months.... since then (its a long story.....)
Hy.
I have the same problem, can't even start by bootloader, sincer my batterry run out, i can't power up my artemis, any reason why ?
The battery is full .I tested on another artemis .
Edit: The only wrong thing I guess i did was flashing it to a touch rom, but it was all good till it run out of battery, if I sent htc to the warranty, they won't fix my problem because of the rom right ?
I have a HP IPAQ HX4700, after replacing the screen the unit is always in the bootstrap mode when powered on. (Ie says Serial, and then USB when put in the cradle). It can be tricked py pressing the power buttons, reseting it, and removing the battery sometimes.
It works perfectly fine until it is switched off, then its back to the bootstrap menu.
Does anybody know what might be doing this? And how to repair this.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Warren.
Anyone ?????

Hi,
You sure have locked the battery ? Else : you have bent some contacts when replacing that screen. Try again ?
Dirk
Thanks for the reply, Didn't see any contacts to bend, and the battery locks fine. The pda will occasionaly boot once fiddled with for a while, and works fine. Untill you turn it off, then it just goes straight into bootstrap mode. I replaced 3 screens all at the same time, and tis is the only one giving me problems.
First of all, thanks to everyone for running a very informative forum!
I have a rooted phone running SkyRaider 4.0 for quite a while now with no problems, but today, my phone rebooted while I was reading email. After it restarted, I tapped the gmail icon, and the phone just shut off. When I turned it on, all of the apps that were housed on the SD card were gone, and I got several FC messages (for apps that were on the card). Thinking that the SD card was corrupt or damaged, I tried it in my PC and ran a CHKDISK, but no problems. I formatted the card anyway just to be sure, and when I powered the phone back up after that, the battery was dead. I had only had the phone off the charger for maybe 2 hours with no real use, so now I'm confused. After pulling the battery, letting it recharge, it would power on, but made me go through all of the setup screens as if it were the first usage. I went through them, then tapped "settings", and it shuts off, and the battery is dead again. At this point, the phone only flashes the white HTC screen for a split second before shutting off. I tried to get into the recovery menu with power+volume down, but it also flashes on for a split second and then shuts off. If there's any help out there, I would greatly appreciate it. I can't seem to find a similar problem on any other forums.
Sounds like a hardware issue. Have you tried a different battery? If you don't have access to one, you may have to use the insurance so the warranty is "voided".

That's kinda what I'd expect from a seriously malfunctioning battery. The EVO 4G also uses the exact same battery so if you know someone with one of those, it should work for diagnosing the battery or phone.

Same here
Same problem, sadly no real solution for it. Used to the unplugging as a workaround.
