It would seem that there are an awful lot of new threads on the subject, perhaps we could concentrate all the issues that we have with it (no matter which flavour) in one thread, can be this one or another, I don't mind but I think it should be done, would tidy things up a little.
Anyway, reason for starting this one is to try and collate all of the issues that we have with it, you never know, people in the right places may listen, but then again, pigs might fly, but it's the thought that counts! lol.
Generally
I like the update, I like using Sense 2.5 with the new twitter tab and the new programme buttons on the home screen, Facebook seems a little more integrated and I like that fact you have to dig a little deeper to get to WM.
However;
Home Screen
Weather animation is slow and laggy if;
a) You have more than 3 programmes added or;
b) More that one contact added
However, if the clock is minimised and all programme tabs visible, the animations are as good ad the demo and weather tab. Very annoying!!!!
Contacts
I like the new People shortcuts, but the fluidity of scrolling is rubbish, it's very jerky.
Open a contact and then tap edit, way too slow to open up and edit, perhaps 3-4 seconds. In real time, that's not a lot, but it is when using a phone. Then tap save, WTF! this takes even longer and it would appear to be even worse when you link your profile to FB, it's to the point of being painful.
This is just as bad if you tap on Menu and the edit.
Update and Events
Well, installed the 'hotfix' for FB Albums; guess what? It doesn't work, I still cannot seen any pictures in any album. I even wiped the ROM and started completeyl fresh to see if that was causing issues, but nope, still doesn't work.
I'm not overly happy that adding people to my favourites adds notes to each person and addes them to the HTC Favourites Group. We never needed that with Sense 2.1 so why now?
I thought that perhaps the issues I have with the Contacts is because I have over 700. Nope, doesn't seem to make a blind bit of difference how many or few you have, still get the same issues.
Messaging
I like the HTC SMS Client, it's starting to grow on me..... just. However,
When replying to a sms in landscape with the keyboard exposed, tap the menu softkey and then try and use the keyboard up and down arrows. Gues what, you cant! Very annoying.
I also cannot see how I can add the little pop up that tells me the sms has been sent. Now I know that most people on here don't like that, but I did, maybe I'm wired.
I also don't like it that the delivery report forms part of the treaded message as opposed to being separate - maybe that's mee being too fussy.
Calendar
I like the calendar it looks cleaner although the one big annoyance is the agenda view. No matter if I tap on the event from the home page or from the sliding menu at the bottom, the agenda view taks a good 5 seconds to load - outrageous! lol.
Twitter tab
Again, I like the twitter tab but, on a few occaisions, without any prior warning, all tweets disappear!?! hhmmmmm
Settings tab
For me, the Sound & Display menu is a little slow at showing but it's not too bad.
Other Issues
SOD - (Standby of Death) Only ever experienced this once and have no idea what caused it.
Radio 4.49.25.91 - Sometimes, when I travel through a bad signal area, the radio with not 'refresh' it's self and run through the signal search loop, it just sits there and sits there with the exclamation mark until I manually turn the radio off and back on again. Never had this issue with 4.49.25.17.
Finally, to ensure that the issues highlighted above were not due to remnants of previous ROM files hanging behind ofter flashing, I ran Task29 on the device to ensure that the ROM storage was clear and cleaned of any rubbish and freshly installed 2.07.401.1.
After all that, I genuinely do like this ROM and I guess these are just annoying niggles but you can only take so much. Am I going to revert back to WM 6.5 with Sense 2.1, only time will tell.
Agree with pretty much all you have said. Specifically
1 important to concentrate all all issues with this ROM in one thread
2 these are some key other threads on XDA that I think are relevant with issues from this ROM, at least can be referred to from here :

3 SOD is the biggest issue for me. Happens frequently during the day. HTC want me to send the device for repair, but I do not believe this to be a hardware issue. Phone has functioned perfectly since new in May 2009, SOD has only arisen on moving to this March 18th ROM
4 HTC posting data in our Contacts : terrible. This was certainly the cause of lock ups I had when first installing the ROM as that data got more and more corrupted.
5 I cannot get Facebook auto update working. I have about 1,000 contacts, about 50 of them synced to Facebook
6 Twitter does not fully update for me
7 Overall, when it works, I think Sense 2.5 is very good. I haven't had any issues with the SMS client which I think is a very good improvement over 2.1
8 as it stands, phone is unusable. I cannot rely on it for people to contact me as it is often SOD. A phone that people can't ring? That's not progress
9 Facebook albums - doesn't work, have never been able to get this working. Link to patch on HTC Europe website is broken, do HTC know?
Come on HTC, accept that you have an issue, agree to investigate and fix it.
Am in the UK, unlocked, unbranded phone, I use O2.
Calendar
The slowness in the Agenda seems to be negatively influenced by having all-day, and/or recurring appointments.
One thing I noticed is that when editing a single occurrence of an recurring appointment, you can change the time, but not the date of the occurrence (which is possible in the default client).
Messaging
Although I like the messaging app, it takes an awful long time to load one thread. Why didn't they implement this the same way as the default client (limited number of messages shown, with a link to "older messages")?
Other issues
Memory usage is ok after a soft reset (around 50%), but after a day of use it easily reaches 75-80%, even with all programs closed.

I concur with that. That's going to be a bit of a problem for me as I have several re-ocurring appointments.
I have issues with the new rom also.
I have the same issues you have. In addition my speakerphone function doesn't work most of the time. I have to turn it of and back on again and sometimes even redial.

Personally, I haven't noticed any difference with previous ROM's in this respect.
Hmm. Seems after a soft reset file activity is better now.
Wow, editing favorite contacts is really slow. I added a few lines to the notes of one of my favorites, and it took literally 5 minutes to get back to the Home screen.
For me it helped reflashing the ROM; flash the Sense 2.5 ROM and then immediately flash it again. Made it slightly more responsive. Other than that, I have the same issues as you do.
Contacted HTC about it and they told me UPS should pick up the phone since it's a hardware problem... Yeah right.
For me the most annoying part is the speaker phone issue, annoying when ppl can't hear me.
I've contacted support through HTC's website. I've putted in 4 problems and got an awnser on 2.
The speaker problem is a hardware failure according to the support desk. Such a nonsens!
This ROM is broken and they should fix it!

They told me that as well, wanted me to ship them the phone by UPS since it was a hardware problem... even though I told them lots of others have that problem with 2.5 and that it was JUST FINE before upgrading.
Found errors and one worth to add, too.
Error - Calendar:
I've tried to insert a birthday reminder in July 20th, and set it up for "ever July 20th" but i wont listet in July, the reason is, its added in april, i think its the current Month, seems to like an variableerror or an programmingerror. Defently worth to fix.
Worth to add - General / Shortlinks:
A shortlink to settingstab/menu, its annoying to have 5 tabs to access the real options + the loading time of the differnt tabs/menus.
Optional - Found something helpful - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285366
Very worth to add - Onlinerules (maybe there is a programm that provides this):
It's annoying when i at home that, in the second i tab on the power button my w-lan and bei umtsmodule begins to initiate simultanly an internet connection, there could be some rule, w-lan before umts or something, the device got A-GPS, maybe set a home zone where the UMTS lets the w-lan the higher priority and get into the internet. But i've always use the shortcut FN+Commandcenter(rightkey) to deactivate the UMTS, because i doenst recognize that the wlan is 5 times faster.
Maybe we could all errors to the first post, for a better overview.

Find Duttys Task Manager for Leo, install and it should work, but, it cuoldnt close all apps(opera, AS,etc) so you have to check it with builtin task manager from time to time to really close them.

Completely agree with all in the above post, especially the SOD which is completely random on my device which is only 3 weeks old (bought from clove and shipped with the latest official HTC ROM) I have been naggin my boss to buy me a tp2 for months as my tytn2 was becoming unreliable and now i find the tp2 even worse, even though im a die hard HTC fan i fear i might have to consider sending the device back and getting a blackberry as this is totally unacceptable for a business tool. Have also reported the issue to HTC to which i got a reply of "try a hard reset" which isnt very good when the device was only 4days old at the time.

That your new phone is SOD'ing is very bad news indeed. Mine is heading back to HTC tomorrow, quite why I don't know as categorically the issues are with the March 18th ROM. Have simply lost the will to live in corresponding with HTC's "technical support".
Technical support, my arse.
Right - let us try and be constructive.
My TP2 which works flawlessly with ROM's up to March 18th
It has only ever had HTC stock ROM's
it was bought unlocked and unbranded from Clove in May 2009. I am on O2
It has a 6 Gb Micro SD card
I have never used HardSPL
I use Commontime mSuite software to link the TP2 with our Lotus Notes installation, syncing Contacts, email and calendar
even without installing any software whatsoever on top of March 18th ROM I have had SOD
Sense 2.5 places unauthorised (by me!) data in the Comments field of your contacts with details of Facebook & favourites Sense entries. This data gets appended to the Comments field in Lotus Notes and renders that field corrupted.
In the 10 months between May 2009 and March 2010, I never had a single SOD incident. Since the March 18th ROM, I would get at least 6 SOD's per day. I do not feel that I am being Sherlock Holmes by suggesting that the SOD issue is linked exclusively to the March 18th ROM.
In sheer frustration and because I actually need to use the TP2, I recently reverted to the previous ROM. No SOD's.
Anyway, all you SOD'ers out there (or is it just me), what is the precise make up of your TP2, can we find anything in common?
For example: Someone sent me a message at 5:00pm, but Desire time stamp says that message is sent at 6:00pm, or sometimes it would say 7:00pm...

Can't find it too . But, as I recall, my girlfriend had that option turned on, and I wasn't able to reply her because she was on other provider.
I've goggled that problem, and apparently it's showing a lot on WM devices...and they have some sort of fix...
I have the same Problem here. receive messages are never correct
had the same problem before..my sms conversation thread not showing the correct reply & response chronologically..what i did was to disable the AUTOMATIC (use network-provided values) under SETTINGS-DATE & TIME..also switched to Handcent app to manage my SMS..now it's displaying correctly
there is no solution for it.
I just got a used P1i about a week ago and noticed the SMS timing problem right away. What I did to solve the problem was to set my home zone to Vancouver( i live in vancouver and currently on Fido network), zone of interest to Reykjavik and finally set the current time zone to Buenos Aires. Once everything is set, then i manually adjust the time and date to Vancouver time.
My phone works fine for me now. Hope this will help you too.
cheers
download handcent from the market, it's a better messaging app than the stock one and it also fixes the timestamp issue
and best of all, its free! =)
There's an application on the Market called "SMS Time Fix" that automatically catches any incoming SMS and lets you apply a time offset to fix that... if anyone's still looking for a solution.
UPDATE: I've found a fix for this issue - AWESOME!
Just go to the Android Market and install the SMS Time Fix app by Matt Precious.
http://www.androlib.com/android.application.com-mattprecious-smsfix-pAFq.aspx
It works perfectly, and updates the time stamp on all messages to relfect PHONE time and not network time. HINT: Make sure the "Last Resort" option is checked in the settings and offset is set to zero. This little app now makes the Evo Messages app usable. Finally...
Hope this is helpful info
So, I've been reading and experiencing several issues with SMS timestamps on the Evo 4G.
It seems there are three distinct issues with SMS timestamps on the the Evo and I believe they all have the same root cause.
Issue 1: When roaming texts are received with the wrong time stamp, offset by several hours (typically 4 or 5 hours off). This causes them to not be threaded in the conversation correctly. Very annoying.
Issue 2: When receiving SMS messages on any network (Sprint or Roaming), the time stamp is off by an hour. The result is the same as Issue 1, but a less extreme example.
Issue 3: When texting back and forth in quick succession, SMS messages are not logged in the order in which they are received, and received text messages ALWAYS appear before sent text messages if they are sent during the same minute, regardless of which one was actually sent first. This is also very annoying.
I believe the root cause is that the native Sense UI messaging app is using the timestamp of the tower of each SMS rather than using the time stored on the phone. To prove this, if you use Handcent and set it to use "phone time" and ignore the tower time, it works perfectly. The thing is that I don't want to use Handcent and I want to use the native app. Is there a setting that can be tweaked to fix this? Has anyone talked to HTC or Sprint about the issue and is a fix in the works?
For such a major problem, I am surprised more people haven't come forward. It's a pretty significant bug...
Thanks,
Matt_TX.

I agree and its getting really annoying since it causes me to miss texts.
NM, too easy
Has anyone talked to Sprint or HTC about it? I am sure there HAS to be a fix in the works. The good news is that the native Froyo messaging app does not do this (as far as I can tell). I used a Nexus One on T-mobile and it doesn't occur. It appears to be using the phone's timestamp, as it should...
As long as HTC don't apply their "logic" (or lack thereof) over Froyo, it should be fixed soon.
I also can't believe that Sense UI stops the user from having more than one Exchange account. Android 2.1 (Eclair) does this by default. Why on earth would they remove it?
Anyway, back on topic... Please please post with your thoughts and discoveries around the SMS timestamp issue.
Thanks!
How is this related to development?

I'm not sure what you mean by "NM, too easy". Can you explain or provide any insight. Please help if you can. For those of us with this issue, it's REALLY annoying. I apologize if the question is dumb and there is an easy fix.
I realize that some of you may not feel that it is related to development, but I disagree. For those geniuses out there that make ROM's, maybe there is some way to fix this with a setting or minor change in the Sense UI messaging app...
Additionally, there is no need to berate someone that's genuinely asking for help. It's obvious that this forum gets the most traffic, and it's obvious that the smartest "Evo User" minds are located here. I don't think there is any harm in reaching out for help, isn't that the purpose behind these forums

Agreed. If its not happening with Handcent nor the AOSP apk, then its a direct HTC issue.
General Discussion. Also, probably not really that urgent.
./agree on all poins with OP.
I posted in Q&A about this same issues, with no replies 8(.
Anyway, I thought it was related to the modified prl that I installed. However it would do it even when I was on the stock prl.
Long story short, I called sprint and said I was having the issue. They said they were going to refresh something on their side, to wait 20 mins then power cycle the phone.
Did that and to my surprise it worked! Then yesterday I re-flashed a custom rom and the sms timestaps went all wonky. /sigh
suck it up and use handcent or chomp, they are overall better apps, just not as nice of a UI.

Have you read this terrible notice from engadget.com?
Android still has horrible text messaging bugs that'll get you fired, busted, or otherwise embarrassed
By Chris Ziegler posted Dec 31st 2010 1:12PM
Pardon us if the headline is a little sensational, but this is one that we've personally experienced -- and it's not pretty. For at least the last couple versions, Android has been plagued with a couple extremely serious bugs in its text messaging subsystem that can ultimately end up causing you to text the wrong contact -- even contacts that you've never texted before. There appear to be a few failure modes; the one we definitely experience on the Gingerbread-powered Nexus S involves being routed to the wrong thread when you tap it either in the Notifications list or the master thread list in the Messaging application, so if you don't notice, you'll end up firing a message to the wrong person.
More seriously, though, there's also an open issue in Android's bug tracking system -- inexplicably marked "medium" priority -- where sent text messages can appear to be in the correct thread and still end up being sent to another contact altogether. In other words, unless you pull up the Message Details screen after the fact, you might not even know the grievous act you've committed until your boss, significant other, or best friend -- make that former best friend -- texts you back. There seem to have been some attempts on Google's part over the year to fix it; we can't confirm that it still happens in 2.3, but for what it's worth, the issue hasn't been marked resolved in Google Code... and it was opened some six months ago.
This is akin to an alarm clock that occasionally won't go off (we've been there) or a car that randomly won't let you turn the steering wheel -- you simply cannot have a phone that you can't trust to communicate with the right people. It's a deal-breaker. We're pretty shocked that these issues weren't tied up and blasted to all affected phones as an over-the-air patch months ago, but whatever the reason, we'd like to see Google, manufacturers, and carriers drop every other Android update they're working on and make sure this is completely resolved immediately.
Want to see this fixed as much as we do? Scroll to the bottom of the Google Code page and hit "Vote for this issue and get email change notifications."

If it's a bug, then why have I not encountered it since owning this phone for 7 months?
It could be a stock Android problem as already mentioned (HTC Sense ROMs have a different messaging application).
I found a post in the discuss thread where a guy explain how to reproduce this *bug*:
killerbee3 said:
If anyone is interested, evidently "Darth Mo" has been able to replicate it - found in ACentral Forums - entire post follows;
"It's not user error, or at least it's a combination of user technique and a possible design. It has to do with how the stock messaging app interacts with the Android system notification.
I recreated it this way. Open a text, but only from the notification bar. You will be taken directly to the conversation from that contact. Now, just hit the home button to get back to the home screen. Repeat this four times to let the open conversations build up. We'll call the earliest contact 1, the next 2, etc. for this example. Let's say you converse with these contacts over some time so that messages occur in this chronological order (opened from the notification menu if possible) : 1, you, 2, you, 3, you, 4, you, 1, 3, you, 3.
Now, you've read the message from contact 3, but quickly hit the back button because you need to send a message to contact 4. So you're back at the conversation list and select conversation 4. You compose and send your message and off you go. But, what can actually happen is that your message went to contact 1 because there is a bug that when you use the back button, it will take you to the conversation screen and when you select one, it will take you to the conversation with the last "unreplied" message received before the last conversation you didn't reply to, regardless of the one you actually select from the list. It's easy to miss that it took you to the wrong conversation as the on screen info can take a beat to update and it looks like you've select the right conversation. The kicker is the conversation list does highlight the one you meant to select, but will take you to that other conversation. It's as if it's saying, "Hey, I know you want to go to that one, but you opened this message and jumped out of it without replying. Maybe you didn't see it."
It's pretty easy for people to not have seen this for a few reasons:
1. You open messages directly from the messaging app
2. You close out every conversation using the back button and don't let them build up on top of each other
3. Messages can come in such a sequence that the conditions are never correct
4. It has actually happened, only the last "unreplied" message was from the conversation you actually intended to enter
I was able to create reliably using my Google voice number to send myself text and watched it bounce around conversations seemingly randomly. It was only when I looked at the times of each message with no replies that I saw what it was doing actually had order to it.
About 30 minutes of experimentation to figure it out, but I had to know how this was happening as I could see it leading to an egregious error later. Now to explain it to HTC..."

why havent you encountered it? i have no frikking clue and i dont care.
fortunately now it is a critical bug.
btw, i just care about android stock problems, im not using that sense stuff.
I quite often get messages which are meant for other people from someone who has a samsung galaxy (seems that's it's a copy of the message, rather than it being sent to the wrong sender).
I don't text as much, so less prone to the error.
happened to me on stock Android. Never on HTC Sense or mod
I have actually had this bug... but it reported the message had gone to the wrong person, but the correct person replied so I assumed it was reporting it wrong.... only happened twice.
on stock rom unrooted desire
I'm using a stock ROM & native SMS. I get this bug quite a few times.
I'm working in a very loud environment, so I send & receive lots & lots of text messages.
I notice that when i have lots of threaded messages, the SMS starts to slow down & sooner or later the bug will cause me send a text to the wrong recipient.
I'm quite careful of what I'm sending now.
HTC & they told me to reset the phone.
It hasn't been fun for me since I have to reset the phone once a month because my threaded sms buildup very quickly...
I'll update to 2.29.405.5 to see if this fixes anything.
Guys,
Is the 'wrong' person who receives the message someone in your phonebook or a total stranger. If it'd someone you don't know... how does your phone pick that number up? Randomly?
I had my Desire since April, and never had this issue. I open texts from notification bar and have sent them frequently.
I've had a G1, Magic, Milestone and now a Desire and I've never experienced this at all.
I don't think this bug is very common... I've never experienced it myself and none of my android friends have either...
Just some evil forces trying to make the Android OS look bad. Not our fault they couldn't resist taking a bite of that apple so screw them!
Overblown sensationalism AKA typical journalism. It's a bug but seldom a problem encountered by users, or XDA-Dev would've been flooded with such problem threads long before such publicity sites noticed. Just me personally having switched between over a dozen ROMs/kernels and their versions since March with over 60 average text out per day since and not one occurrence means it isn't anything but rare. I rely on SMS very much daily.

Sooo I got the phone last Thursday and am using it on Verizon. I've had a few issues that I figured I'd throw a thread together incase anyone else has the same...
Known Issues that I have:
"GroupMe" application will not update unless I am in the application and clicking on a specific chat. - Worked on every other phone I have and cant even find anything on this subject on google. If someone sends a message in a chat it will not update or notify me. I have to click on the specific chat for it to update. I've reinstalled the app 3 times and cleared the cache. un-optimized it with battery settings, nothing is working.
Fixed Issues that I have:
Phantom vibration. - Almost like a notification is happening but nothing is showing on the screen. Cant figure out this one for the life of me. I even have a notification log downloaded and it just vibrates away with nothing being logged.
Found out it was Verizon Caller ID app. Apparently it keeps crashing and "starting" over and over again. I disabled notifications on it and the vibration went away!
MMS Cannot be received only sent. - I've gone through this extensively with Verizon support. Tried everything on another thread, switched out sim blah blah blah, finally they have opened a ticket with the engineers and will get back to me in 48 hours.
Works now in default app just not android messages......................................
Anyone else having any other issues?
That's disappointing that there are mms issues. MMS on the U11 using anything but the stock messaging app was a complete ****show. I hope you can get more bands than just 13 as well.

MMS works fine on my European un-locked (and rooted) U12+. Got one as late as yesterday... Using stock SMS app.

Someone on Android Central had Verizon block messaging and then re-add it for everything to work. Maybe worth a shot?
Same here... Unlocked US model. Send but not receive texts...
I've done the same, reset, new SIM, swapped Sims etc.
I'll take a look on AC and see if they have something there for a solution... Thanks for the heads-up. Glad I'm not alone.

I have found that Android messages app doesn't work as you can't select the preferred sim for messages. Having to use stock at the moment.
Somewhere in another thread, there was an adb command I think that set and enforced the default sim slot. Wonder if that would help with your issue, Nestacres? Sorry, I would search myself and link but just checking in on a quick break at work.

Android Messages isn't comiled for usage with Dual-SIM, as Google Nexus/Pixel phones are all Single-SIM devices. If you know how to use adb you cand do the following:
From adb shell run the following command
Code:
adb shell settings put global multi_sim_sms 1
This did the trick on the U11 DUGL as well, and Android Messages could be used and worked just fine. Thanks to @Electronic Punk for pointing that one out to me!
Soooo Got MMS to work on the default app and with Verizon Message +.... Android messages still does not work and that is something many others have said as well....
Very sad.

Pr3dict: did you do anything different other than what you originally posted? I've been on vacation since i got the U12 and haven't called Verizon. I can send everything, but not receive. I can pop the SIM and put it in my iPhone x and the texts just role in immediately...I really want to love this phone! Lol

It actually works great with dual sim, for some reason HTC left out the default SMS sim option out on Oreo (simply doesn't exist in settings.apk anymore) and only left the data one. Fortunately that fix is basically a fire and forget, once it sees a default it has no issue picking between them.
HTC handle it differently on phone and SMS as they have a button for each sim.

Yeah they handle it quite different. But let's see. Maybe we'll get an overhaul with Android P.

I did everything possible. Even got a new SIM... What seemed to do the trick (and was the last thing I did) was having Verizon block my messages and then unblock them.
Then I could send + receive. Beforehand I could only Send... But beware it does not work with Android Messages.

How did you first activate your phone? If it's not activated properly on Verizon it can fry your SIM card or cause things to not work.
I first swapped my SIM from my U11 and could not make calls but was able to use internet and send and receive text and mms. But just like the U11, I can only receive MMS on the stock apps like HTC messaging and Verizon message+. Cannot receive MMS on third party apps.
But the proper way to activate the U11 and U12+ is to first register your imei with Verizon then you have to transfer your SIM from a Verizon device that has advanced calling/VoLTE in the settings.
The U12+ does not have any Verizon advanced calling or VoLTE setting so if you just pop a new SIM in without first having it activated on a Verizon advanced calling device, it could cause problems and fry your SIM card.
It sucks but that is the best way to activate it.
Manually attached IMEI to SIM, and toggled messages/on/off on my account.
All is well and working for receiving SMS/MMS on stock messages! It worked immediately...
Thanks for the feedback and discussion everyone.

In my case, after updating (purely, after RUU) to v1.21.401.3 I have noticed a few times that after picking up the device and "squeezing" I should wake up, scan my face and unlock my smartphone (I have my preferences set) .
But just the few times after "squeezing" the device does not react at all, there is no vibration.
After the traditional unlocking (applying the finger to the fingerpront or pressing the POWER button) the smartphone wakes up properly.
This happens when the smartphone is not used for a long time (deep sleep?).
But this is not the rule.
I also had ONE total reboot.
On the other hand, the update did not improve in the first few months the best inflections of the volume up button (Vol +). Very often you have to press many times "to surprise", and pressing and holding it to turn up in series - is very difficult to achieve

Is anyone else having issues with the youtube app? Im finding it buggy. To be precise: if I start a video and then turn the phone landscape to go into fullscreen, if I then turn back the phone vertical and come out of fullscreen and then try minimise the still playing video it goes a bit haywire, parts of the screen goes grey and I can't minimise the video. Can any replicate?!

New issue thats bothering THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!!!
The phone isnt vibrating on incoming calls. I thought I just kept not feeling it or hearing it but nope, the phone literally turns the screen on and it just doesnt vibrate. I don't have battery saver on, and I don't have "Do not disturb" on. Its weird.

Discovered a slight work around since. It doesn't happen if you go in and out of fullscreen using little button in the bottom right. So it only happens with auto rotation.
