Hi,
I have a problem that when i shutdown my device ( i choose to power off ). after it shuts down it automatically goes into clockworkmod recovery (v3.0.0.6).
When i then choose power off, the device starts up again after about 15 seconds, back into recovery mode.
The device is plugged into the loader.
If i choose reboot system android loads. running latest leedroid 2.2.2
is there away to turn my device off ?
thanks,
regards, mark
It is a "feature" of clockworkmod. There is nothing you can do about it. Unplug your charger and the phone will stay off.
Thanks,
I think i did something stupid though..
i chose boot into recovery, and now my device won't boot anymore, is stuck at a nice white screen with HTC logo.
Do i have to reflash ?

Click to collapse
Did you try a battery pull ? , take your battery out put in back in and turn the phone on .
unfortunately that didn't work.
What did work was, pull battery, startup with volume down
then do factory reset... this got me back into CWMod
Then did a restore, and my phone is booting again...
I do wonder though how i got myself into this predicament :S
Every time I restart my phone, it gets stuck on the XPERIA logo but after a few mins of being stuck if I call my phone it rings and then finishes booting, any suggestions? Thanks
Doomkernel v14
Did you post in the correct section? Also did you try flashing the kernel: fastboot flash boot boot.img
The boot.img is in the rom zip file that you installed.
After some time on the logo the screen goes darker?? after 2 minutes try to touch some areas of the screen and see if vibrates, try to unlock it (if it does vibrate is because you are touching the slide to unlock thing) and just tap random on the scrren to launch a app
Since installing Crash ROM when the T210R boots up there is no logo. there are sounds but the only way to know if it is booted is to press power button after a while and then I get thelock screen. When a 'hot' reboot is initiated it boots like it did before with a Samsung logo and normal boot. Has anyone found a solution for this?
Thank you
Hello everyone! My One M9 has been stuck on boot screen after it's battery drained completely. It runs AICP 8.1 and adb does work, but I get booted into system every time I try to boot or reboot into bootloader, recovery, or download mode. The htc splash screen also takes longer before trying to boot the system. I tried unplugging the battery but it didn't have any effect. Does anyone have any tips or ideas?
Faulty button?. If it bypasses download mode you might have a stuck vol- button.
I think my phone had a failed firmware update because it seems to be caught in a boot loop. I press power, home and the up volume keys and it gets to a screen that states Installing System Update and then it shows a screen like a dead android guy then takes me to the recovery window. If I just let it boot normally, it gets to a screen that states optimizing apps, it gets to a certain number and just restarts again. Is there any way of recoving this phone or is it a brick at this point?
Thanks!
