MIUI Rom - Defy General

If we can have this UI it will be fantastic!! http://android.hdblog.it/2010/12/23/la-rom-miui-si-ri-fa-il-look/

Ew, TouchWiz.

To each his own I guess.

That would be great!

This is another ROM I wouldn't mind seeing on the Defy. Enom's would be the **** though.
I'd definitely put up some cash to those that helped get it on the Defy.

For me, XFJM6 is much better than XWJM6
Though HVJH1 is also nice! I'm kinda undecided between XFJM6 and HVJH1

ABSOLUTELY AGREED. 24 hours later after installing XFJM6 and I don't feel the need to lag-fix, autokiller, or any of the other things we've done in desperation the last two months to make our phones work. GPS even seems acceptable in that one so far.

Nice FAQ, but I think you should change stable/stock version from WJM6 to FJM6.

A friend of mine just bought a new SGS from India with I9000DDJF6, which looks really fast and polished. I had bought mine around 2months back with JF3 or something (not sure anymore with all the flashes ). Does anyone have a link to download DDJF6? Or any other info on it?

anybody tried TGYJH1 for the asian version? I am tempted to use XFJM6 but afraid that I am gonna lose chinese txt input. can anyone confirm this? and also how to check on my current firmware, believe there is a keypad combination to enter from.

Tried JH1 - it does not have the option to explicitly choose between 2G/3G. And battery suckage on 3g/auto is too much for me - deal breaker for me.
XWJM7. With no doubt. the is one of the best in the matter of GPS and performance.

Locksreen questions

i just flashed over to the Sprint lovers rom since i decided to go stock but want to change the lockscreen. Preferably the 3.0 lockscreen.
is that possible and is it as easy as just finding the file and flashing it.
thanks fellas
You fool lol, the lockscreen needs at least 2.1 sense, sprint lovers is 1.0. Get off that old ass rom son!

Full stock? It depends on what you mean by full stock. I believe there is OMFG from t3hh4xx0r. But if you are looking for a full stock HTC GB update, just the leaked version is all we have for now. We should have one very shortly though. I'm thinking weeks at this point.

[REQ] LunarUi Theme Port for our S2

Hi there,
I installed the LunarUi theme on my friend's Nexus S which runs CM7 and I'm really impressed. This has to be one of the nicest themes I ever saw.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1243590
As I'm running the Exynos Rom on my handset and have no experience in themeing I wanted to ask if someone hast the time and is willing to port this awesome theme for our S2?!?
I'm sure many people would love to use this theme!!
Greets
Yeah I like the look of that!

That sure would be the easiest way but not everyone wants to flash an entirely different rom. I'm pretty happy with Samsung based Roms.
Our you could try:
google.com/m?q=xda+theme+porter&client=ms-opera-mobile-android&channel=new
So I tried some methods of theme porting but with that little talent I have I had no luck getting it to work.
Is there really nobody who cares about this theme? I mean the craze on CM is huge, even on MIUI people are porting the theme. Latest version 3.5 looks sick!
No one willing to try on creating an universal JKAY theme?
I am gonna give this a go for the lidroid rom.

Amazing work! I just want the statusbar, that's my favourite! I can really live without the other CM7 features.
I did flash CM7 nightly 83 for SGS2 but it made my phone heat up too quickly and ate my battery with much gusto. I believe there are some suggested fixes for that but they require a bit too much reading and tinkering for me right now. Oddly the RC for my nookcolor worked perfectly; too bad LunarUI is not supported at that size.
Damn that's so sexy. You really make so many people happy with that theme (although it seems nobody cares about LunarUI, but I think you just have to love it!)
