i am willing to trade my dash for a tmo razor and 50 dollars this is do to the fact that my dashs mic doesnt work so you must use a blue tooth to talk i will also throw in my motorola btoth pm if you are interested thanks.

I Keep seeing people talking about using the phone for nes emulation... does everyone realize it can also be used for snes, gb, and genesis as well.

Do i still use pocketnester to do that? and just download the other consoles games?
Yah but those need to be overclocked like to play SNES u need to overclock your phone which I do not intend to do because I want my battery to last longer.... and nes is classic man...
I have a heavily Modded Motorola V3t which I can restore to factory (its unlocked, has custom skins, 12 icon menu, tons of goodies installed, security patched - so it will run third party apps such as google maps, gmail etc. and a host of other things. Its in perfect condition (I keep all my mobiles in near mint condition with hard cases)

if you truly want to do something for WM community, don't waste your time on yet another home screen or shell replacement. We have plenty of those already.
Create a framework so that other developers could code apps around. Make that framework flexible, look good, light and fast. Maybe even extend .NETCF35 with a new UI widgets.

I just thought it would be nice to have something i wanna use. I avoid my tp2 if i can. I upgraded from the original so i can say they both suck. I worked very hard to get them phones and wm just keeps letting me down and down again. all i want is a flippin nice music player. That's it, i can't even find that so yeah I'm gonna make my own. I did not know if I should put this in the general section or not. As many of you advance user dislike that section. But anyways... Today I came across this video, That clams that you can now use the iPhone OS on your android phone. I just wanted to know if you guys know anything about this. And do you think it is possible? I think it has been discussed before but I'll interject my opinion. Why in the name of sweet chocolate christ would you want to run the iphone os on here? I had every iphone since gen 1 and got the evo instead of iphone4 and I've never looked back. You know that expression" you don't know what you've got til its gone"? Well this is more like" you don't know what you had until you got something outrageously better"! I know devs like to do things just to prove it can be done. But id really hate to see a talented dev waste their time on this exercise in lew of something more useful like kernel, rom, and app development.

I am not saying I want to.. I really want to know if it can be done. Also I am interested in a few things the iPhone OS offers, but why in sand hills would I do something as stupid as buy an iPhone. I would never buy an iPhone. I think the phone is a peace of crap. But if I don't pay for the OS then why would I care to try a few things!

If it is, I think it is pretty cool. I am definitely an Android fan, but the more our device can do is always better!

I know for one thing, I always here that the iPhone has some great game that have not made it's way over to Android yet so that might please alot of people.
Wonder if the OS is jail broken this way. I still don't believe that it works though. I think we would have heard a lot more about this........

Yeah! Exactly... If I could just prove it. I tried to download the file from the site but the site was down. But I did look more into and found out that this kid from NJ has proved this method works.
So here is a list of stuff our Evo's can already run:
Android 2.2
Windows 98
Windows XP
Windows 7 (Buggy)
Ubuntu (Linux)
iPhone OS (Once proven by me)

First sorry I'm posting a lot I have history of confrontation with an iphone owner over whose device was better. So this sparks my interest a lot.
I agree it seems a bit fishy and the site to download the files doesn't exists according to Google chrome. So I cant even look into it or examine the files

So I just looked at the video again. Check out the comment: "yes, i have run into a lot of bugs. but i am working hard to fix them. This is why the files are not up yet. i hope to have them available with many bugs fixed by mid next week. for people that downloaded already.. please report bugs. thanks"

Probably not. You can try, but keep in mind just because hw3d is working doesn't mean it's fully optimized, plus our hardware is paltry compared to basically all of the native Android phones.
I have a feeling the latter is more of a factor than the former.

Have you looked at what the specs on the HD2 are?!? The TP2's stats are horrid compared to it - its hardware matches native Android devices much more so than the TP2.

Most of my posts I think are accurate haha.
HW3D DOES work on TP2. I get 577 in Quadrant benchmark. Might be too slow for some games, but fast enough for Android to run smooth and responsive.
