[REQ APP] Virtual reality is possible on HD?

Hello guys. I wonder if, as the new application on Iphone using GPS and compass (Nearest Tube), it is possible to make increased virtual reality with our Touch HD.
Does anyone has ever think about it?

Yes, i've thought about it. Pretty harsh answer: No, it's not possible. Simply because the HD doesn't have a compass.

you want to create something revolutionary that everybody will want to use, yet you don't know what it is and you are asking for ideas :/
if you truly want to do something for WM community, don't waste your time on yet another home screen or shell replacement. We have plenty of those already.
Create a framework so that other developers could code apps around. Make that framework flexible, look good, light and fast. Maybe even extend .NETCF35 with a new UI widgets.

Just buy a different phone and leave. I don't really want to be associated with a phone dominated by games and farting apps. And I don't really think professionalism is anything close to this:

The above post is a joke lol. Bet he can't make his woman happy. Second i am 16 so what do you want it to say? I have my own company and make millions? I just thought it would be nice to have something i wanna use. I avoid my tp2 if i can. I upgraded from the original so i can say they both suck. I worked very hard to get them phones and wm just keeps letting me down and down again. all i want is a flippin nice music player. That's it, i can't even find that so yeah I'm gonna make my own. So what at least i can do something like that. Can you?

That's amazing... A 16 year old who just over a month ago was asking HOW DO I SHOT -- ehh, I mean -- WRITE CODE? is already writing games that blow triple A titles like NFS Underground away. Meanwhile, I'm 17 and I can only write Java or C# apps for smartphones. Now I feel under-accomplished. :[

Omg you don't think i know what i want. I know what im doing. I have the plans all drawn out so yeah. I was seeing if people wanted things that were missing from the home screen or tf3d. Something that could make life a lil easier. So yeah i have started the fun part right now.

what is 5point multitouch good for?

What's the point in 5point? Dotty is the only app I can think of that has anything to do with it. I'm not saying there isn't a reason, I just can't think of any reason other than just to say you have it.

Maybe someone will develop an app that uses multi-touch gestures... I suppose that could be handy for some security app or something... I have wondered the same thing and I don't think there will ever be much need for it... At this point, it's just for bragging rights

You can play a five note chord with piano/keyboard app!

I have no clue either, but I thought I've seen around these forums that some games do multiple touches? Maybe not, thought I've seen it here...

Couldn't help myself. Seriously though, 5-point is more a gimic at this point, but somewhere down the road it could be useful.

honestly,i always get irritated when something is posted in the wrong forum... but its not due to the recent hype here @xda...
anyways, i dont know why but this did not bother me one bit.
Anyways2.0 @ OP. There's a game called NOVA {Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance}. Really similar to Halo... I like it. Well, before I could not be moving around + firing (2 fingers so far) + throw a hand grenade(or jump). Meaning I could only do two of those at the same time.
However, after flashing custom kernels (EPSON 003 no tints), Dotty showed me my device can take all 5 at once [insert sex joke o.0].
Here's the good stuff. Though I can't do all of those things at once... I can do 3 at one time. While running, I can continue to do so, shoot an enemy in the faceheadlolomgwtfs, and clip a 'nade out. So, yea : ) . As far I know, this is undocumented by Gameloft© (not that I checked).
By the way, it is not available in the Android App Market. Find it @ www.gameloft.com [on your device!].

yes some Evos can and come cant...

And the problem is that most (99%) of the apps in the app store only supports 2/3 point touch max since most android hardware can only support that much.

alright. Thanks for the replies. I was just curious about it. And sorry about the wrong forum, I thought about putting it in q&a, but I figured it had to do with evo development so I put it here. But I apologize.
Seems that, as big as the screen is, 5 fingers wouldnt fit right. But for video games I suppose so. Maybe someone will invent a 5 finger tapping app that gives you a score based on accuracy and speed lol.

certain kernels unlock it, like kingklick's kernel. Only certain phones can have 5 point multi-touch, other phones can only get 3 point.

What really pisses me off...

Know what really pisses me off?
There are hardly any good games in the market. Most of the good games are not found in the market as has been covered a thousand times before. But what really bothers me is that there is really no good way of viewing the entire selection of games available on android because of the fact that they are independent developers and companies such as Gameloft and Concrete Soft.
Anyone know of a good source of information about games available?
