[Q] Bluetooth behavior - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All!
When running a Sense rom, the phonecalls do not connect to my bluetooth handsfree if I pick up the call via the screen, but when I pick up via the bluetooth handsfree the audio is routed to the handsfree set. This is what I want and call normal behavior.
I'm currently running an AOSP rom on my Desire and with all the AOSP rom's i've tried the phonecalls gets routed to the handsfree set regardless of picking up via screen og handsfree set. Is there a setting that I have overlooked or does a hack exist to solve this ?

New ROM - bluetooth issue carkit

Since I've installed the new official rom for my TP2 I cannot browse my contacts anymore via my car screen.
Normally when I connect my phone with my car via BT, the carkit syncs the contacts so I can browse them via my steering wheel.
Now it says that nothing has been registered...
But when I disable bt on my phone and enable it again... after a minute I can see my phonebook again on the carscreen...
What is changed on bt level for the new ROM???
Anyone?????
Anyone?????

I have had issues with a Volvo car kit since day 1. (And my TomTom, etc.) The position has got slightly worse since the WM6.5 update. HTC support originally said they were aware of Bluetooth problems (the TP2 has a different stack from preceeding machines). They are sort of backing away from that now - latest e-mail from HTC support says 'it is being looked into'. There are lots of similar issues being reported here and in other user fora.
i bought a car kit MP3 player for my car. I paired it with my TP2 and enabled the "BT Audio" and "BT Handsfree". Outgoing calls work fine with no problems at all. But during incoming calls there is a problem. If the incoming call is from someone saved in my contacts, the BT carkit does not ring. If its from an unknown number (not saved in my contacts), it works perfectly. I tried all the tweaks and hacks in this forum but nothing worked. Anymore ideas.
Kimbo,
when you update to the new ROM, your car may think it's a brand new phone... try deleting all previously paired phones from your car, then start the pairing process over again... your car should ask if you'd like to sync phonebooks again... that's what mine did when I re-paired after my 6.5 update.
Good luck - Mark

Try the cab from this thread ------> Fix for playing ringtones over bluetooth headset.
It's meant so that the actual ringtone you have set will play on the car kit. I know my car kit used to have its own ring which was... boring to say the least. Now the various ring tones set to people on my phone play through the car kit.

[Q] Incoming call routing to Bluetooth car kit

I have a trouble using my HTC Desire with my car Hands Free Kit. The car kit is Motorola T605. A2DP streaming and outgoing calls work perfectly but every time there is an incoming call it is not routed to the hands free. The ROM I am using is a rooted 2.2 stock ROM.
While searching through this and other forums I found out that De-Frost ROM solves this issue. I believe it is because De-Frost include N1 bluetooth stack instead of HTC's but, no sense means no FM Radio which is really important for me.
Does anyone know a solution for this issue that allows using a sense enabled ROM?
Thanks!

[Q] Bluetooth Car Radio Problem

Hello,
i bought a new car radio (KENWOOD KDC-BT 42 U) and and external microphone. It was easy to connect my DesireHD to the radio via Bluetooth. But when i want to do a call, it uses the internal microphone from the DesireHD instead of the one from the radio, no matter if I set the option on the radio to intern/extern microphone (which actually stands for the radio-intern or by cable connected radio-extern microphone).
Is there an option on android to allow voice taken by bluetooth devices?
(Currently using JellyTime Rom, could this be a problem?)

[Q] Bluetooth requires Media Audio to connect / way to route sound not over BT?

I have an unrooted 4.2.1 Galaxy Nexus, and the only way I can keep the Bluetooth connection to my car active is to have 'Media Audio' enabled in the settings for it. I know that there is Bluetooth issues, and know issues where the phone connects and disconnects constantly. However, what that means is when I use Google Navigation, any voice guidance is sent through the Bluetooth connection, so unless my stereo is on the BT Audio connection, I get no sound. This was why I had Media Audio enabled.
Anyone know of a workaround for this so I can get voice guidance working again through the phone speakers, or even a method by which the Bluetooth will remain connected without hat setting enabled?
Also add, same as many others, only became a problem with 4.2 and following.

[Q] bluetooth problem: [ROM][4.2.2 JDQ39E] UnOfficial uXylon v2.9.5

is there a fix for bluetooth troubles with the uXylon-Rom???
i,ve got some strange problems. bluetooth pairing is no problem with many different devices... (UE Mobile Boombox, Jabra Freeway, etc.) also playing via media-audio is functioning (playlists, tune in radio,......) ... but telephone-audio (outgoing or incoming calls) won`t function via bluetooth. theres no sound on different devices. (i´ve tried it with the boombox, jabra & a logitech wireless speaker adapter). but the strangest thing is if i listen to a radio stream on tune in radio via bluetooth device and there´s an incoming call... yes, it works. also with outgoing calls. if i stop the stream >> im gettin the same problem as described before.
has anyone a clue?
thx t.
