Whatsapp problems

My whatsapp isn't working properly. Am I the only one? It doesn't push messages to my phone, when I check the status of the server it is unavailable, but after rebooting the phone it works fine. So it seems to be dropping the connection to the server and not reconnecting.

The service seems to be very unrelyable to be honest, just bare with it, and it will get better, I hope, and make sure to keep it up to date

Google Play "File too big" warning

A couple of months ago, the Google Play store started misbehaving. I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with the ROM I have installed, because it does it all the time now, on either AOKP or MIUI. Currently I am running MIUI ICS and GAPPS 20120429.
Here's the problem: every time I try to download a new app or update a previously installed app while connected to 3G or 4G data, I get a dialog that says "File Too Big". It then gives me the option to "Queue" the download until I connect to wifi later, or to "start now". Of course, since I pay for UNLIMITED data and I DO NOT CARE how big the app is, I press "start now" every time. But it asks me this for every individual app, one by one, and I have to press "start now" each time.
The dialog also says that I can change this option in the Settings menu but there is NO such option in the settings. I want to prevent this dialog from EVER appearing again, I don't care if the app is 50 bajillion gigabytes, just download the damned thing on my 3G connection without second guessing me. Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know of a solution?
how big is the file i have downloaded an app that was 400Mb. and no warning sign.

anything over 1 MB seems to trigger this message, so it appears for literally 99% of all app updates

strange have you tried unistalling any updates and cache?
I wonder if SDmaid would help with this but you won't be able to download it. how much free space you have?
me toooooooo...
it's happening to me too... it's really annoying when it comes to "update all" option when using 4G network. the update status is stuck on "waiting for network" (wifi). nothing i can do but stop the "update all" and updating the app one by one and confirm proceed on mobile network one by one each app update. not good not good...

[Q] Weird issue oO

Hi all.
So, i have the G3 D855 Model.
My issue is with the Google Play Store, when i'm using my LTE data connection, and try to buy an app, i ALWAYS get an error msg saying *An error has occured, please try again* after i input my password to purchase the app/game.
BUT!!!
When i switch off Data and use my WiFi instead, it works.... no error msgs... nothing.....
I tried everything, resetting my phone, removing my google account, going into Apps and cleading the data and cache for the play store and my google framwork... AKA i did everything.
Any idea what's going on ?
Thanks all
Whatever it is is related to locale, your WiFI provider registers differently than your phone service provider.

SM-T705 Stuck in Singapore? Using in US...

Hi All,
So I helped a friend pick out this phone. She wanted a ginormous phablet, and this fit the bill for AT&T service here. What is strange is that the phone is forcing her to be in Singapore, LOL. She can't go on Netflix, and when I try to use this link: http://www.google.com/preferences#location and enter her zip, it says "please enter a valid singapore address". What gives?
Also the mic icon on maps force closes the app.
This is technically a tablet lol. It might be location/gps problem. Try turning on your location in your nofications. If that doesnt work, I would try a factory reset or try using a vpn such as hola vpn. And try to unistall updates from the app your using. To do so,open the app, then hit the recent tasks key on the right of your home button, then tap and hold on the app, the hit app info and hit uninstall updates on the app. Then open the app agaIn to see it everything works. Hope this helps!
