Sense 2.0(Desire HD) ROM has been leaked. I highly encourage anyone to make a ROM for Desire.
Please, search. There is no such rom yet, because it is too large for the Desire's internal memory

That's why I am requesting that.
That's no reason to make such a useless thread.
It's very relevant - and it will be trimmed to fit in size.
I'm also looking forward to it....
WTF?
People are working on it...
Consider yourself pwned.
Moved to general. Numerous threads on this topic already exist. There is no need for another one. Thread closed.
I dropped my phone over the weekend and might have damaged the slot where it goes in because every time I open the camera it says "Please insert SD card before using Camera."
File Manager, Titanium won't recognize it either.
Does it just need to be replaced or did I mess something up by dropping it?
Question is:
How do I put the *Sprint Lovers* ROM on my phone and flash it??
I assume they won't let me take my phone back for repairs with the MIUI Rom on it. So how do I fix this?

why is this in the dev section ?
Put your microsd card in a card reader, connect it to your pc and see if any files are there or if your microsd card is damaged. You might need to format your card, but thats just my opinion. Try mounting it again, maybe.
How can anyone else know what damage you did to your phone by dropping it... the only thing you can do is either try a different card or try the card in a different phone or on a computer or something...
Instead of wasting everyone's time including your own, Use a little common sense and deductive reasoning.
And please stop feeding the trolls... Post in the correct forum.

Broski, you're trolling
OP: Wrong section. But more than likely you have a corrupted file on your card. Try scanning it on a PC

I don't think the SDcard issue has anything to do with the dropping of your phone, anyways, try reformating the sd and see if that help, the same happens to me every 2 month, lol

Not at all, I don't troll.
I didn't call him any names or be derogatory or insulting in any way shape or form. I simply asked a rhetorical question to help the light bulb come on, stated facts, pointed out that it would be better for him to diagnose the issue himself and asked, nicely I may add, to post in the correct forum.
On a side note, I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me "Broski."

Don't mind that guy, he is one of those who come to the defense of the ignorant everytime. A White Knight as I call em. "Broski" ... that says alot right there.
OP: Like others said, check your SD card first. Try a different one, etc. And then realize that you posted in the wrong forum and don't do it again
First of all, the reason why I posted this HERE instead of in the questions section is because I have posted in that section MANY times, and seldom get any answers. You know how annoying it.
No one from here, who actually knows a thing or two, actually checks in that section. Ask yourselves when was the last time you visited that section and answered questions??
Second, my phone now somewhat recognizes it. It says "file unsupported". And when I try to format the SD Card(which I'm not very happy to do, but if that's what it will take) using MIUI, it does not work.
So now I have an SD Card icon with a "!" next to it on my top bar.

Broski.. next time you want to teach ANYone a lesson, do it the right way. Saying all that just makes me want to do it again because I know it pisses you off now.

Thank you. How is that done?
You can check your sd card by putting it into a card reader and seeing if everythings there.
Even so if you don,t get answers... this still doesn't belong here. There are sections for a reason. Try bumping it, or even putting it in general. The questions there seem to get answered.

I check the q&a multiple times a day and answer questions all the time.
I'd say copy over things on SD card to computer then reformat card and copy everything back to card

As do I. And whenever I post a question there it's answered within an hour or so. I don't know why people think that you'll be ignored if you post in QA. The devs and high knowledge people do venture there. And if you get ignored, then bump your post. A lot of people post in QA. Just cause you got ignored it doesn't give you the right to break the rules.
can you mount the card to the PC via recovery?

I do not come to protect the ignorant. In fact, I tell them they posted it in the wrong section. The difference is I do it in a way that is helpful and not condescending. I'm still sorry you find the need to be rude when you answer. Yes, I will call you out on it every time.

it's because... I posted in the wrong section.
Guess not though. Either way, you may not think you're going to get an answer in Q&A, but here you won't get an answer and you'll get reamed.

Where can I report blatant douche-baggery?
Its responses to threads like these that are pushing me away from an otherwise great forum. Blasting someone for posting in the wrong forum helps nothing. Yes, people need to read and follow rules. But just answer the damn question and move on. This forum is supposed to have mods right? The only reason threads like these get any traction in the wrong forum is from people feeling the need to point out like the 30 people before them "wrong section" Leave em alone and they will quickly sink to the bottom. (which I am guilty of with this post.) Can't we all just get a bong? I really like xda but the user base latley just seems so angry...

I had this happen to my HTC Hero. I dropped it and it busted the SD card slot, it would not read anything I put in there.
Here is a guide that was created from that. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911228 This assumes you have Amon RA recovery. If not, if you go a little deeper in the thread, I wrote about how I flashed a recovery without an SD card as well. Good luck!

If no one ever said anything the dev section would be filled with so much "junk" that it would bury all the roms and kernels and everything. I dont normally post in these threads.. but the op KNEW not to post in dev, and did it anyway because he or she didn't get what they wanted...

I feel that is the root of this problem, people have figured out if you post in the dev you will get flamed, but 9 times outta 10 you'll get the answer you want also. As a constructive community we need to just ignore these posts, report them and move on. I stress the ignore. The problem is the internet is full of trolls and flamers that enjoy being anonymous and able to fling ****... It will probably never end

I am looking for some help with partitioning my sprint Samsung note 2 sd card so that I can use a program such as "app to sd pro".. My internal disc space on the phone is filling up fast. I bought a 32gig mini sd card, but the program does not recognize the card. It indicates that the external sd card is not partitioned as a primary partition. First off- does the phone have to be rooted? Next, can I just use a program such as "mini partitition tool" and just reduce the partition size on it already and make another primary partition without rooting? Can anyone help. thanks.
First and foremost, this is the Android Development section. You're looking for Q&A...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1893
A quick glance at the app's info gives me this.
Not supported devices:
* Galaxy S3, Note 2, Galaxy Nexus, Tablets
There are plenty of mods that accomplish what you're looking for but those require root.
Thanks for being nice adamanypants.
I'm constantly surprised how people can miss all of the stickies, notices, obvious headings describing the different sections, telling people what kinds of posts go where.

For what you would pay to even get the 64gb memory module (if you could even find the correct one) and the labor you'd have to pay for someone to even consider doing the swap as well as taking a huge risk on it not being recognized because there could possibly be differences hard coded into the chipset and if the person doing it doesn't have the proper tools to solder the tiny connections. You might as well go buy a 64gb International version or suck it up and buy a bigger SD card and use the links to the apps provided above.
reason why I asked what is clogging up your memory, is because we can probably help you free up some of that memory. Post a screen shot of your memory page. I really doubt you have 16 gigs of apps, and even then it would be easier to root and move apps to sd.

Is there a way to physically swap the "memory" in the phone? I did a google search and apparently there are malaysian versions with 32GB.. so why not ours? I know on my old work phone, HTC windows phone... when it died, I put a new Micro SD card in and it booted and now works fine. Are the Galaxy phones the same?

Thanks for the help... I guess I should ask a Moderator to move it so that I may actually get some "general info" on the phone.. Sorry I used the "General" section...
I didnt know we had a "general" questions and answers forum. .
This is the "general" forum.. there have been other questions asked and discussed without hesitation...

General is for posting things like information and guides. All questions go in Q&A. And no you can not swap the internal memory as it is soldered to the main board although you can expand your storage by putting a micro SD in the micro SD card slot

Thanks mrevalkyle.. preciate it.
OP.....
The memory swap option is working. ..see here. .http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-n...sd-card-with-rooted-galaxy-note-2-app2sd-mod/
Please review the link to verify it's compatibility with our device. ..
Software memory swap to use external as internal memory is very common and easy.
I have not done this, as I have no need. ..but it's a great mod.
A general search will also give you more options as well.
It's really the only option without a physical device change.
Good luck, and happy flashing. ..g
