Press and Hold the Volume Down key and then Press and Hold the Power key until the white HBOOT screen comes up.
boot to recovery
Yep - do it like above posting says: BUT, if it doesn't work,
remove battery and retry. Success.

Also, go into Settings -> Applications and make sure the the Fast Boot checkbox is NOT checked. That will prevent you from getting to the HBOOT screen using this method.
Yea it worked. And yes....my s is s-on couldn't hurt tryin lol

Hi,
i've just used the unrevoked one click method to root, which was successful.
I can boot into CWM recovery and use volume keys to go up and down the options, but when i press the power button to access a sub menu such as backup and restore it is just displaying a blank screen with no further options?
any suggestions welcomed.
edit: never mind, was pressing the wrong damn button, sheesh

Whenever I go into the bootloader (power + volume down) it doesn't go to the android bootloader, it goes directly to ODIN for some reason.
I'm not sure why, as this has never happened to me previously.
I'm on stock, rooted rom.
Help is appreciated!

Don't worry ... rather, I would focus on the use of the two buttons together .. are quite fragile...
Hey, I tried rooting my phone using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069904 and at the
"Under the Extras section, press Perm Root. It will push SuperSU.zip to your phone." part, my phone rebooted and an image of a red triangle above a phone appeared. I tried searching "red triangle" on that thread and I did find a solution :
"You have to manually restart it and then continue with the steps." but I have no idea how to manually restart it. I held the power button down but nothing happened (besides the 3 buttons flashing) . What do I do??

The buttons will flash several times then it will restart. Keep holding the button down. Takes about 10 secs.

Why do you think you flashed the wrong RUU?
Why do you think flashing had anything to do with the device's current behavior?

Stuff like this is why "technical support" is the way that it is.
OK, so we have no idea what you did since you're not telling us. Help us help you.
How long are you letting it sit and reboot (and leave it plugged into the charger)? The phone will do this after RUU, give it 20 mins or so before interacting with the device. To reach download mode, hold the power button and volume down button, after phone vibrates, release the power button and after menu displays, release volume down button. If this doesn't work, hold all three buttons until after back/recent buttons blink and device reboots.
What--EXACTLY--did you do before this happened? Which variant is your phone? Version? File(s) you used?
