I just adjusted it for our mini.
Just extract the zip file and copy the file and the folder to the
"Program Files\TCPMP" folder on your device.

Is TCPMP, the same as Windows Mediaplayer folder?
I don't think so..
If you don't have TCPMP you can download it in the original thread link from the first massage..

I searched but didn't see anything about WMP 10 ROM CAB being posted. I searched all combos I could think of so sorry if this is a repost.
HP released a ROM update for an HP rx3000 ipaq

This file is a ROM update for the device. I downloaded the .exe and unzipped it, it had the .nbf update file but I'm not sure how to pull the individual cab files out of it, does anyone know how to do this?

If some one can get the password for the rom, I can try to extract the cab.
I would try the same ones used for the MDAIII rom. itsme was the one that came up with the passwords.

HP ROM is not locked!

I just opened the HP nk.nbf file and it is not locked, so no password is needed.

Since it is unlocked, can you pull out the cab for the media player 10?
Instructions and names of tools would work also, thanks for any and all help.

This is no good. I've downloaded the SP29295.exe and dumprom the nbf file. It confirms my suspicion that it is an update of the HP iPAQ rx3700 OS files (including WMP10 mobile) and not just individual CAB files.
Unless someone can tell me what are the exact files in the WMP10? I've tested using other versions of ROM, and it seems like I've invariably replace files that affects the core integrity of the OS.
However, I still harbour the fantasy that we might port this stuff over to XDA2.

Paul, the windows media 10 is not a cab install rather a part of the windows mobile 2003 se system. It would require someone to go find all the dll files, registry setting and core file install directory contents to make the whole thing work.

I think the lack of knowledge on the files pretaining to Windows Media Player 10 are ther reason why someone is going to have to have a copy of the ROM and go routing about for the files.
Loading rx3700 nbf file into ER2003Edit asks for a password. Is there any way to find that password?!

1.download manila editor
2.copy all the files ending in "manila" from your /windows directory on the HD to your pc
3.specify the route of your manila files in manila editor
4.extract the files as png
5.modify the png files and then raplace the old ones using the manila editor
6.once you have all your edited files, copy them to your sd card, close TF3D and then using total commander or resco explorer copy those files into the windows directory and then restart TF3D

with a program called pocketscreen
Basically you set it to take a pic in a set number of seconds so you navigate to the screen you want it to take and wait for that number of seconds Do a search for it in the top level forum and you wil lfind the thread to download it

You should, just takes FOREVER to get a directory listing from windows to your /windows filder. What I do it copy everything to the storage card and use total commander locally on the mobile device. Total commander has no problem getting to the windows folder on your device. What does this have to do with the screen shot of yoru device?

Its really a nice theme
How about a link to the theme or at least to the icons of the taskbar? Would really know how it work to but some nice icons for the battery, phone network, bt etc...

OK i can get the manila files on to sd using tc but my vista does not see any files in the folder.

Don't have such a file in Windows folder on my HD.
File is animated.gif, but is a ROM file, you can't delete it. You can only replace with another one 480x800.

The name is BootUpHTC.wav and it's in the /Windows folder. I want to replace the .gif with something cool, but i'm having a hard time finding software that will convert video to .gif at 800 x 480.

Found out that if you copy the file over the top using TC then the file is overwritten, but if you try to do the same with Windows Explorer it won't let you.

I'm running windows 7 - and when i try and overwrite the animated.gif i do not have permissions to do so. fustrating. what is TC? how can i overwrite this file? is there a regstry setting i can change?

copy the file to your sd-card as usual. from there use total commander on your mobile to owerwrite the existing file in your windows directory

They are part of your rom. in order to get the original one, delete your modded one and reset

i wanted to copy them to my computer. i've got rom 3.7 from VIC
but when i coppyed them to my PC it only showed 30 of the 1069. and when i opend them with manila editor it showed all files, but the pictures were weird and not correct. and some were correct...
dont know what went wrong but i tried it 4 times and 4 times the same

I have updated my blackstone's ROM to 1.56 wth USPL recently.
And I guess I have installed the newest youtube app (or maybe it was in the ROM, I don;t remember)
This new youtube app looks stupid and is MAXIMALY laggy.
In the previous version I could buffer movie within 30 seconds and watch without any lag. But know it is unwatchable.
Does anyone please have the original youtube cab file?
The previous version, not the new one with somekind of CoverFlow video selector.

Sorry, I was wrong. Only the cabs for 'Opera', 'Opera htc Skin' and 'Google maps' are located in the /windows dir.
