Post Your HD Screens

Just thought it would be nice to see some of your screens for the HD. Here is mine. Going to give some transformer tab icons a try when I get a chance.

thats really good, im still working on my tabs using manila editor, and once im done, its going to look amazing.

1.download manila editor
2.copy all the files ending in "manila" from your /windows directory on the HD to your pc
3.specify the route of your manila files in manila editor
4.extract the files as png
5.modify the png files and then raplace the old ones using the manila editor
6.once you have all your edited files, copy them to your sd card, close TF3D and then using total commander or resco explorer copy those files into the windows directory and then restart TF3D

with a program called pocketscreen
Basically you set it to take a pic in a set number of seconds so you navigate to the screen you want it to take and wait for that number of seconds Do a search for it in the top level forum and you wil lfind the thread to download it

Perhaps a newbi question, but on my vista machine i don't have access to the windows folder via activesync, or any of the protected files...

You should, just takes FOREVER to get a directory listing from windows to your /windows filder. What I do it copy everything to the storage card and use total commander locally on the mobile device. Total commander has no problem getting to the windows folder on your device. What does this have to do with the screen shot of yoru device?

well one thing you jsut showed me is that i can do my task bar upgrades for icons and battery Looks nice, i like the black.

Its really a nice theme
How about a link to the theme or at least to the icons of the taskbar? Would really know how it work to but some nice icons for the battery, phone network, bt etc...

OK i can get the manila files on to sd using tc but my vista does not see any files in the folder.

Original Manila Files

Hi to all, anyone has a original file of 4a087e41_manila and 5c9aa261_manila? Thanks advanced to all....

There is no 4a087e41_manila. I can´t find it. Is the name of this file right?

i want to try to make my own theme.
i have manilla editor. but where can i get all the orininal manila files?
i tried to copy them from the windows folder to my computer but that didn't go that well.. is there a package with all the orininal manila files?

They are part of your rom. in order to get the original one, delete your modded one and reset

i wanted to copy them to my computer. i've got rom 3.7 from VIC
but when i coppyed them to my PC it only showed 30 of the 1069. and when i opend them with manila editor it showed all files, but the pictures were weird and not correct. and some were correct...
dont know what went wrong but i tried it 4 times and 4 times the same
(sory for my english)

Do you know how to create background for all tabs in manilla v3? These two files from manilla v2 is not the same like in manilla v3.

Start menu problems

I have encountered another problem. I made the ervius package and had the initflashes.txt. I did everything but when I start the phone, the only shortcut I can find is in the startmenu -> Programs and thats one of the places where I wanted it,but, I also want it in the startmenu and its not coming there. I think its not working because u can only put 7 items and I dont know how to remove one item and plug in my software shortcut..

have a look to OEM_Lang_0xxx-folder. you find there a file "initflashes.dat"
edit this file without wordwrap. this is the file, where the folder-structur will generate and some registries for one time ... and the startmenu.

There is no dat file in the OEM_Lang_0xxx folder..... is there any other way????

hi, i'm looking for some help.i overide my origional shellres.192.dll file.is it possible someone can copy it from their phone and attach it here for me! much appriciated. next time i would backup before doing any mods...

If you go into windows and delete the file and then soft reset it gets replaced with an original from the root of the ROM.

i tried that but it seems the file cannot be deleted cause its a rom file.i used recso explorer and total commander same message! any other ideas? i'm able to replace the file with another one which i did to change the cursor icon forgeting to backup the origional.now i want to switch back to the origional and can't cause i no longer have the file!

You may not like it but a hard reset would be your option. There may be differences with other peoples ROM which could cause more problems than you want.

hey thanks allot....but i found that file on the forum already it does not work, for my hd it was allot larger than that! was this extracted from your hd?

anyone else can help me without me having to hard reset my hd? the only thing i want is the origional wait cursor file...help!

what rom are you using? i.e. is it wm6.1 or is wm6.5 based?
I've got stock taskbar icons cab install for both wm6.1 and wm6.5 which will revert your device back to original state i.e. the default taskbar icons saving you the hassel of not hard reseting! is this any good to you? if so I can upload here or give you download link!

Ok here you go find attched cab You may need to install sdkcerts.cab first and then install the wm6.5 taskbar cab!

ROM version: 1.14.405.3 (22273) WWE wm6.1...would it be possible to have the shellres.192.dll file only?

All i'm trying to achieve is to get back the origional wait cursor and the start menu icon!the shellres.192.dll file i installed over the origional had those two items modified.everything else is fine just those two items i want to get back, thats why i need the origional shellres.192.dll file.

Here you go! just unzip attached file and copy over to windows folder using either resco file explorer or total commander!

You can always rename the file and put .bak at the end.

Different fonts

Hey fellas Im new to this sort of thing but I was lookin for different fonts such as old english etc.. etc.. If somebody could post a few links to .cab downloads id appreciate it, thanks. I have an HTC S620 aka HTC EXCaLIBUR.. Thanks again!

You have to edit the CPR with the font that you like. Place new font in windows directory of phone and edit CPR with new font. There is a link to the thread on how to edit your CPR in sticky.

Are there any .cabs that I can download for fonts and also how would I find a file name of a font that I want to use? Im kinda leerie about adjusting anything in my registry only because I dont wanna brick my phone an what not, thanks fellas..

I don't think anyone has made a .cab for this yet, however there is a tutorial on how to change your phone's font. You can look here for it [TUT] Changing the system and menu fonts, and fonts can be found here http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=107

well fellas Iv got good news, I got the old english text for my opera mini browser but Im still tryin to figure out how to get My system font on the phone itself to change. I seen somethin about changing the cpr but where in My phone is the cpr Is it in the regedit?...

The CPR is located in windows directory of your phone. If you are using WM6.5 by Ookba then you have to edit the file name : Titanium_320x240.cpr. Find this file pn your phone, then copy it to PC, where you can use notepad to edit the file. Once done, you need to copy it back to phone.

Ok so once I find (Titanium_320x240.cpr) I edit it to ("file name".cpr) or whatever font I want and put back into windows on phone? I have a notepad to edit the file name on my phone so that shouldent be a problem.. Thanks in advance!..

No.. you don't edit your Titanium 320x240.cpr to "file name.cpr" You have to edit the content of the cpr. Please refer to the link on my previous post.

Ok ill mess with the tut but Im using 3vo series rom wm 6.5, not ookba.. Is ookba more stable then 3vo? I know thats kinda off subject but I havent messed with ookbas roms before, just askin.. thanks!

Oh, Ookba is the one who cooked up 3VO. He is one of the best chef for our phone.

oh haha ok thats what I was wondering.. I didnt realize it was ookba! I think ill just stick with having the different font in My opera mini browser. Im afraid to mess with the registry besides I was having a hard time with It.. I dont want to erase My font then id be stuck not bein able to use My phone at all, LoL.. If you are no longer using the font you can rename the extention with Total Commander or Resco Explorer eg: font.ttf to font.bak then restart phone and delete it.
