Hi!
Checkout the Alpine forum, you will see there is no WM 5 of 6 for the Alpine. Two guys stated they were developing one, but the first one stopped, the second one hasn't been responding for several months.

Hello & Welcome to Epic Land
hears a good one about themeing but you will learn a lot about android by reading it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=821638 hope you learn some stuff & its not stuff you allready know.

Where to start developing?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to start developing for this device when it's unlocked and has an (hopefully) AOSP kitchen for it.
I have a couple of questions though:
Where do I start learning how to use the android SDK?
Should I learn C++ or Java? I would think Java, and I guess it would depend on Kernel or OS development.
All links are appreciated, though videos would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, I am doing some research on my own
Thanks!

As in the key parts and small parts because i one day would love to develop with a team a awesome ROM, in very familiar with java and c# and develop a bit of games at school using gamemaker. I have all the time in the world to learn and debug so im open to many possibilities

OS Porting

This forum is not about porting OS's to devices, it is about porting apps, that you developed, to other OSs.
For example, you made an app thats a tetris game for android and you want to make it work on Windows Phone, this section is about that.
Hope you get your answers about OS porting elsewhere :good:
Please don't post here because this isn't the place for miui, Cyanogenmod, etc. Posts.

then it would make sense to have the thread properly titled as App Porting not OS.
Talk to an administrator then if you wish to change the name of this forum.
OS porting is located correctly under the app development forum, maybe for the English challenged people is confusing but if you enter app development you must know it's not about operative systems at all, unlike the rest of xda forums, which are exactly for OS porting and mods.
