Not working for me, it installs but unable to access flash eg bbc iplayer, facebook games
No disrespect but I don't think this is going to be the solution we think it is.
Loaded it too but its not working for me either.
I got this yesterday and noticed that rather than being a web flash player, it creates flash hyperlinks(?) and gives you the option to open flash content in a new program eg youtube player. Not sure if that was already the case, but it wasnt working for me before i installed it

Just tested vimeo also, loads in a video player ( possibly stock) and plays just fine, probably due to the fact its in .mp4 format?
Also tested a few other sites eg wisevid.com, and no video would load but if you hold over the 'broken' space where the vid should be, a flash options menu appears to choose quality(working) and full screen(still broken)
has anyone tried using it on websites with embedded youtube videos?

The same player, but maybe this one isnt buggy... I will give it a try.
Edit: I just tried it for few seconds and it seems to be free of bugs, but it still eats lot between 20-30mb of ram. The jumpertest app also gets installed but I don't know for what it could be useful

Just tested, mine crash too :/ (DocRom 9.5)
Edit : even after a reboot.
Also, moving into the song is a little bit buggy (sometime can't move backward or forward twice, screen doesn't respond), not a big deal.
Anyway, thanks for the hint nanu_x2, first impressions : look very nice!
The player seems to work fine, apart from audio skipping when trying to run in background.
I am on latest docrom js5, using wp7 theme on 200dpi.
Also running latest speedmod with all audio enhancements on.
Still buggy on JS5 doc rom I tried to open it twice and it had an instant FC. I could open it on the third try...
Maybe we need aome new lib files..

Same for me on my JS5 deodexed.
I'm on Doc JS5 and the player is very smooth, no problems so far.
I just hope that the final version comes with a couple of more features.

Test it for around 15 minutes while doimg some other tasks like installings aps or browsing rhe web. It has also some bugs and scrolling is also buggy sometimes.

Hi,
I have some little issues with my CyanogenMod 10 on my One X.
When I am watching a YouTube video and changing the volume it crashes.
After a reboot my keyboard setting return to stock.
What can I do with this? All help is welcome!

Still not working, now it just says App not installed without any reason....
Fixed Youtube, deleted it via Play Store and reinstalled it, seems to work fine now But the keyboard settings are still changing to standard.. Guess i'll have to wait for a new CM 10 build
The keyboard issue is related to Google Play - it's nothing to do with CM
Works great so far for me. It didn't have YouTube originally installed so I used that YouTube apk and it works fine none of the crashes you received.
There is one big issue for me though; MX Player can no longer play the avi files I have. Vplayer works but is more sluggish than MX.
MX Player worked great on original sense ROM.
For the record I am using tbaldens cm10 prenightly ROM.

At this moment I have CM10-20120916-UNOFFICIAL-endeavoru and I have no problem except the Keyboard Settings issue, never played an .avi movie on my phone, but MP4 works great when I want to play them. With the same media player

Anyway, have a look >> HERE , and >> HERE, I'm collecting the bugs and workarounds.
If Youtube doesn't work after deleting the apk and replacing it with the working one, just reboot.
And the keyboard not sticking you can fix with these tips too.

No you don't have to wait for a new build. Just back the keyboard up using titanium, uninstall it, and then restore the backup.
That will fix your issue.
I do not understand why it's so hard for some people to read.

Just updated to 4.3 before I checked here. Now I have issues with flash player I have tried Dolphin, Firefox, and Boat all the same they lock up and give an error. Looks mostly in desktop mode.
Was also looking for a root thread also.

Remember that flashplayer is not supported on android since 4.1. But you can use flash with a browser that support flashplayer. In my opinion the best out there is Puffin.
Although the Fire7's display has a 16:9 aspect ratio, videos are always stretched with black bars at top and bottom due to its non-square pixels. (THIS ONLY APPLIES TO 5TH GEN FIRE7!!!)
I slightly modified VLC to compensate for that error.
Please note that this only works for hardware decoded videos (h264, h265 but not webm)!
It's based on the latest beta version and I changed package name and icon so you can run it side-by-side with the official version.

You have to request developer access and give reasons why you need it - like - what devices are you going to support.
I did request it but as this is really useful to a single device only I'm not expecting them to grant it.
What do you think about the new player hud buttons? Which ones do you prefer?

Well I hadn't gotten a chance to test the old version to see the old buttons since the link expired so I can't really say. I think it looks good to me though. Maybe you could upload to mediafire or Mega in the future?

Okay, I see. It had the original vlc buttons. I didn't like them as the stretching is very apparent with round buttons.
I will use one of the two you suggested although the 30 day expiry could be a good motivation to update regularly

I will try to update it to a recent beta with chrome cast support in the next days.
I don't however own a CC to test. Does casting work for you in the official vlc builds?

Do you know if it would be possible to implement this for a ROM? Like system wide? So that it would correct it for the entire system instead of just VLC?
