HTC Flashlight app in new Foyo w/Sense

does anyone know where i can score the apk for this bad boy? i played with it in the new froyo port (very nice job) and i want it now. thanks in advance.

I use a widget called "LED Light" from the markplace, has the same look and feel as the HTC 4G, Wifi, etc widgets.. not sure if that's what you meant or not.

if you downloaded Avas (or Heros i believe) sense 2.2 ROM, you can grab the apk out of the zip.

yeah, i have that one now too but once you try the HTC Flashlight app you will see why i want it so bad.

If someone pulls the apk, would they mind linking it here? That would be particularly nice of them .

My favorite is LED Desire Light. It has the brightest setting I've seen so far, and can even transmit messages via the flash light in morse code. In case.. you know... you are trapped somewhere and can't make calls.... and can...
Ahh forget it. Anyways, it comes with a widget. Tap for on, tap for off. I love it.

App works awesome, love the interface

I am getting an error on my EVO when I try to install the apk that this is not supported.

OK got it. Missed step to use Astro to install it. Great app!

just installed led desire light and the flashlight.apk
definitely cool to have multiple levels of brightness. And of course, you know that morse code ability will come in handy one of these days....

CM 7 anyone know if they plan on a better camera apk?

Does any one know if cm7 is gonna make a better camera apk or a video one thats the only thing that bugs me i love cm7 battery life and all the extra features just sucks that you cant use all the EVO Eye candy camera and vid cause the camera on cm7 kinda makes your phone feel like a 5 dollar web cam. I love the stock cam and vid. Hope someone has some info and what do you all think about it? I love using my camera.

The camera will come around. Right now cm7 is technically still a beta so not everything is going to be 100%. So just hold out for a little while, it will get better

Gotta say everything is running great on the RC 2 cm7 right now im using it with theme mixer i love the features in cm7 just really really want some better sexy camera features that the evo camera has to offer,

Have you tried vignette? Best camera app out there, I wont use any other one evar haha

I tried demo version does it also do video too ? I liked it and does it do 8mp pics wide screen.

Yeah it looks like trash too. Good thing the devs have included ADWLauncher in CM so I just redirect it to Vignette

Does your camera make a lil clicky sound after you snap a photo or two off?

I PMd you, you can set it to widescreen in the settings, go to frame and click on fullscreen. There's tons of settings to try. Unfortunately it doesn't do video :/

Gallery Smart CONTROL...works perfect

Works in S2 and S3.
insert in system/app- permission rw-r-r-install
open this new gallery in draw- go to conf-mark smart stay
open any video e pass the palm
so much fun...:good:

Camera default (4.1.2) and camera JB+ work fine here...camera 4.2 no..

if u can fix the 4.2 camera which is coming automatically with the gallery that would be great, other wise I will have to use the stock camera which I don't like really

Video camera performance/dashcam apps

Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem using my phone as a dashcam when driving. I've tried a couple of apps thoroughly which makes me think the problem is a hardware issue, not the apps.
Basically, I want to use a fairly high resolution with the sound off (both apps have this feature) but that causes the camera to pause for 1-2 seconds every few seconds. Turning the sound on fixes it, but that's not ideal. At really low resolutions it works okay, but the quality is quite poor.
Are there any apps/tweaks etc that can improve this do you think? Has anyone got the Ace working well as a dashcam? THanks for any help, I've spent ages trying different settings etc.

U tried LenovoSuperCamera? It has lot of options and it makes quite nice shots. The only problem is in video-recording cuz its only recording in 720p, if its ok for u then give it a try. I'll send u a link if ill find it. (there is a special modded version on xda)

Thanks, I'll take a look. Is it just the first result on XDA when you Google it? Says it's for S4, but it works on Ace 2? Or is there another version?

I'll take a look, thanks. Sounds good. Will this affect other apps using the camera? For example, will a dashcam app use Lenovo or will it just use the actual hardware?

Ask in the lenovo thread. All what i know about this app is that im using it and it works good.

You know its great.
I also back to stock rom.
It has many features that is not in cm or other roms
I can install many many apps without mobile hangin or errors
Its lite weight & also no much apps works in background.
Its great feature )

Do you have the same problem that you don't get any notifications on stock?

Hmm strange :/ On stock I have to take all Apps in the background to get notifications for example WhatsApp... Which Apps Do you have installed? And on which stock Version are you?

I use whatsapp from onemobile market last version.
I think you may have to make factory reset

Uhm did I told you that this is everytime?... Even when installing as new Rom after eg. CM11
But I heard of others too with no notifications :/

Ammmm. I also removed gestures & 3d dynamics.
It causes some problems.

When I install many apps on cm. I should install cleaner :/. & call screen is not beauty on cm. On stock its better ?
