I use a widget called "LED Light" from the markplace, has the same look and feel as the HTC 4G, Wifi, etc widgets.. not sure if that's what you meant or not.
if you downloaded Avas (or Heros i believe) sense 2.2 ROM, you can grab the apk out of the zip.

yeah, i have that one now too but once you try the HTC Flashlight app you will see why i want it so bad.

My favorite is LED Desire Light. It has the brightest setting I've seen so far, and can even transmit messages via the flash light in morse code. In case.. you know... you are trapped somewhere and can't make calls.... and can...
Ahh forget it. Anyways, it comes with a widget. Tap for on, tap for off. I love it.

I am getting an error on my EVO when I try to install the apk that this is not supported.
OK got it. Missed step to use Astro to install it. Great app!
just installed led desire light and the flashlight.apk
definitely cool to have multiple levels of brightness. And of course, you know that morse code ability will come in handy one of these days....

Man this isn't one of those links that teaches how to google is it? I hate those.. Whats wrong with the HTC flashlight that comes with the EVO. It has three (count them 1,2,3) levels of brightness..
A 1 second click would tell you it isn't. =O
Or you can put your mouse over the link for a second and it will show the forwarding address in the corner.

Wasn't trying to joke or be an asshole. And that's why I said if you hover your mouse over the link, it will show the address in the corner of most browsers.
And also, I don't think about viruses, I'm a MAC user. Again, not trying to sound like a jerk. Lol

Are you talking about the one that came with the evo? Where the screen looks like a flashlight and you tap it to make the back leds brighten up?
naw, its called led desire light. has morse code and sos plus led flashlight
Does anyone think this would work on the Epic? It works on the Evo...I don't want to try it if it is specific to the Evo though. If it doesn't work, is there any way to be able to change the banner on the lock screen and notification shade?

The camera on cm7 does not seem to really take amazing pictures in the 8mp mode. Is there an app that can enhance this or is this just how it is? Also is there a ROM anyone recommends that is good for picture taking?

you can try the miui camera on cm7 it works better but make sure you dont turn on auto focus or it will reboot the phone.
make a backup and try flashing this

updated my post with a flashable zip
make sure you do a back up before you flash because it will replace you stock cam. if you dont like it you can just restore.
also check and make sure auto focus is off by pressing menu and then settings.

Yeah thanks again, and it doesnt even seem to need auto focus
TBH, I've found the MIUI ROM faster as a whole than CM7. Use a different launcher and it's like CM7 but fewer settings/faster.

The thing about miui was it was overwhelmingly iphone like. I really didn't like how the settings menu itself was laid out being like an iphone and it was really bright and vibrant i like that cm7 can be dark including the messaging.

There are soooooo many themes for miui there has to be a dark one. And, GOsms has a dark theme

Are you getting the dark theme with the stock MMS app or a third party one?

CM7 stock messaging has dark mode in the settings.
If you have dirty hands or you just can not touch your phone just hover or swipe your hand above the phone sensor. And the thing will get running for you. Please keep in mind that I am still improving it. So please report every bug you find. Contact me on [email protected]. Hope you will like it.

Hi works really well to turn on/off screen,but when you have it enabled for WiFi also it gets a bit confusing.when you swipe to unlock screen great,hold hand for 2 seconds great WiFi comes on but when you want to just turn off WiFi it turns off screen no matter and you need to swipe screen back on and turn off WiFi manually as it always turns off screen before you turn off wifi,not a complaint just an ob but a really great app

This is behavior needed to fully active the game mode. I am actually trying to get it working without it.
New update information
Hey guys I actually fixed a lot of stuff I did a lot of changes but some things are still delaying me from being able to release the new update.
Actually new update may be possible to be seen by the end of this week.
As long as I am working on it alone it is really hard for me and I am giving it, all the free time I have I spend a lot of nights on it.

I don't need to see the alarm info on my AOD, I'd rather have it replaced with battery info, and I'd like to have a mobile/WiFi icon (whichever is active).
It would also be nice to have charging info as well, but I haven't been able to find any app/mod/module that does something like this. Any info would be appreciated

I could try to build an App that shows the Battery-percentage at that place, but i don't know if that's still meaningful since Android P is coming up and already has that implemented. Would you be interested?
Well, the Icons are just placeholders - but take this as a hint to what is (maybe) coming up soon.

Maybe not with an Xposed module, but a developer I'm guessing could use OMS with substratum to theme it? It is possible to edit it with OMS, although to what extent I'm not sure, I'm not a developer. Here is a clock theme that changes the AOD clock: Google Play
As a side note, I'm not sure if the developer intended it to edit the AOD, as it's for the lockscreen clock, but it changes the AOD one. At least with the options I selected in substratum.

So, I guess I've got enough Testers now.
Just to give a quick update to all of you:
This week I did literally nothing on the App as I was at the ophthalmologist (eye doctor), needed to clean up my House, get my Car trough the main inspection and beside all that I got a regular Job I need to go to. :silly:
But I got my Phone back - nearly no blue shift, nearly no black crush, and my speaker rattle is gone! :highfive:
This evening I'm going out with my girlfriend. So I may be able to get back to work on the App today for an hour or so. I'll keep you updated!
