I am working on getting the Clockwork Recovery on the galaxy tablet. Anyone interested in helping and testing or simply discussing it, Join the IRC channel I set up for it.
Server: irc.freenode.net
Channel: #ModADroid-Galaxy-Tablet
So far I got a successful compile but its not loading. Possibly need to be packaged as an odin so looking into that now. Not familiar with odin files much since I came from the Droid/DroidX.

Awesome man =)
but I'm not a fan about IRC.
I will directly testing for you when you send me per E-mail or a PN with a download link.
Well let me throw my support in for this - my moral support
Sadly I use my Tab for work, so I can't offer it as a guinea pig for testing, even though I desperately wish to get CWM going on it.
But you have certainly made my weekend that much better! Thank you!
i can be a gineau pig/tester. let me know.
I'll gladly help out... trying to get in IRC now (at work...)
EDIT: Having trouble connecting (may have blocked ports @ work). I have my tab here, so let me know if you need any more assistance...
Alright, amoamare got a buggy clockwork running on the Tab via a method we are using to test recoveries without actually flashing them. We don't have one working 100%, but we are making progress.
NICE
I can test also

That he did, and i'll post how to recover from it in the second post.
I personally don't like dta2sd because of the need to format your sdcard, creating wear on it.
moving data/apps/caches to the sdcard.. slows down your device unless you have a class 8+ card.
Again,Thanks for keeping Sense 3.5 Alive! Am I the only one who loved Bliss? I tried Runny for a few days and eh,I love Bliss! Is anyone planning on porting it again???
Nice man, really good to see someone else working on this. will try this out tomorrow.
It's really good that you've removed the theme. I think that no rom should be released with a theme as user preference is such a random thing not everyone is going to want a custom theme.
Anyway good luck and I hope you get everything working on this, I'm waiting for a working/decent 3.5 rom to use as a base still.
Thank you to everyone.
I wasn't expecting much support, honestly, since King's little rampage there.
And yes I will most likely pick back up on Bliss myself.
Bliss is an excellent base, if anyone has the v3 zip of bliss with working wifi, please do, and i'll continue development for it.

Just flashed and I'm really excited to get this project rolling. Mostly everything worked but I didn't do a full test. I'm going to wait for a bit until everything gets ironed out to make this my daily driver. The only thing I could see didn't work was in the dock mode it wouldn't do a picture frame and the pen app wouldn't work. I was really hoping the would implement the wallpaper in the pin lockscreen back into 3.5 but i guess htc had other plans. What exactly is the Show Me app and the provisioning app?
hey Slawson check your PM brother mayne.
Just flashed to play around and I can tell this is gonna be siiiiiiiiiiickkk!! Can't wait to see what becomes of this!
Fantastic stuff. Will definitely keep a close eye on this project.
While I'm downloading, will Bliss' Quick Launch Widget work with this ROM?
Attention all Theme and Kernel Developers all devices
Hello, I worked in the past with The OG Droid, HTC Incredible, HTC Thunderbolt in a Team environment and solo. I began my work with Kernels and later moved on to work with JRummy and N8Dyddy in Lithuimmod. That was back in the day "ha". Altough the last kernel work I did publicly was with the HTC Thunderbolt I have continued to follow the world of Android very closely. I since have switched carriers and sport the Awesome Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4g Touch.
Today I am inviting all Kernel and Theme developers to post their work in my new app that will soon be released to the Market. The app will be a centralized location for just Themes and Kernels to be downloaded and brief info about the work. I know time is valuable, my intent is to cut down the time to find the latest and greatest, offering these hard working developers another channel for their work to shine, not taking away from this wonderful forum of course. I enjoy the forums and only truly enjoy them when I am home from work with a drink and can take in all the info.
I look forward to hearing from all .Thank you and it feels good to be back.
Developers please send me your info i.e
Device,Build info and any other relevant information.

Wonderful. Back when I was helping out with Team Phoenix Roms on the Captivate we had a home-made app like this, but it was limited to just our rom. If you can have it include all kernels and themes for this phone (and somehow allow the devs to auto push updates for their themes and kernels into your app) that would be a wonderful time saving tool.
That is the Goal to have support from the Developers to jump in. I already have a few on board.
Sounds a little like Preware from webos internals. what an amazing tool that was when i was on webos. hopefully we can get to something remotely close to that with this. good luck. hopefully we can get all the devs on board.
So its like ACS's ACSUpdater, Teamwin's KernelManager, or Koush's ROMManager?

Same concept yes but I believe a bit simpler and some more info. Nothing revolutionizing but useful is how I would put it.
I am familiar with Koush's RomManager as some of my Kernels listed in their as well as TeamWin's Kernel Manager. I am not familiar with ACS updater. It will be out soon. Its my first real app so there will room for growth.
By the way I did enjoy seeing your in your opening post for your kernel. Its funny to think that there is some people that believe that devices determine the quality of a developer when the truth is it's the developer that works his ass off that make these devices great.!! keep up the good work.

This thread is meant to be used to help with the progress of the FB17 and FB09 leaks. Thanks to everyone who has pooled together.
--------------------------------------------
FB17:
Working: 3g, 4g, Wifi, Bluetooth, MMS, SMS, Face Unlock
Sketchy: GPS (not working for all), No root, No recovery
MANY PEOPLE are having issues with .zip file, so it is recommended to use the .TAR files for FB17. Flash at your own risk, as always!
All needed files are here: http://forums.acsyndicate.net/showthread.php?4961-Samsung-Epic-4g-Touch-FB17
--------------------------------------------
FB09 (OLD):
Working: 3g + 4g, Wifi, Bluetooth, Face Unlock
Not Working:
MMS (Workaround, use GoSMS from the Market).
CWM Recovery (Workaround, use ROM Manager to install CWM on a GSII (not E4GT) and you'll have a permanent recovery to make backups, flash other ROMs, etc...).
Loss of Service (Wordaround, keep your 4g on - even if you don't get 4g coverage - this seems to stop LOS from occuring).
GPS (No known work around yet)
Download from http://forums.acsyndicate.net/showthread.php?4951-Stock-Deodex-d-pre-rooted-FB09-4-0-3
---------
Some tips:
Keyboard Issues? Go to settings > input & keyboard > default keyboard and change it to Swype to start. That will get rid of the laghag that Samsung has delivered us. Then you can grab a keyboard from the market or sideload one. Or just stick with Swype as it's working fine.
If you want ICS looking icons until a theme is released, download ROM TOOLBOX PRO and you can switch out icons.
EL29 seems to be working best for most, so I'd recommend using that when coming to this ROM.
GO SMS works for sending MMS as a work-around for the time being.
Need to go back to stock? Try a different kernel? All located here: http://115media.net/scarmon25/Epic4GTouch/

Hi Everyone,
Allow me to introduce myself for those that do not know me. I am a developer for the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. I worked on my own line of ROMs (AOSP+) and worked on CodeName Android. I also helped port over clockwork recovery for the Galaxy Note which lead me to do the same for the AT&T S III. I have most of it done and just doing some final testing before I release it. I am looking at a Friday or Saturday release so I can be around to fix any issues that may pop up.

Cool...I did not see it before I started but would have built it anyways for the knowledge. Does everything work with it?
From what I gather (haven't used it myself yet) it uses an incorrect date in 1970 for nandroid backup names, and it doesn't support flashing from the external sdcard, only internal. If you can fix those two things I'd say it's time WELL spent.

What we really need is a touch based CWM. (hint, hint)
I hate to be this person, but I'm locking this till there is a download link. It's nothing personal.
Ok, I've come to realise, after some prodding from my wife, that I've been just way to focused on all of these projects I've begun, searching for a way to create that next great thing, and always managing to fall just short of achieving it. At this point, I've decided to take a step back, and calm down on working with my A100.
So, I put everything I've been working on into 1 zip file, so anyone who wishes may begin their own work on anything in there.
The projects that are currently in there in various forms:
Jellybean ROM, yeah, I was working on getting a jellybean ROM for us A100 users. Never got it to boot all the way, worked on it for probably 6 hours yesterday. Thanks to randomblame for this.
AOKP A500 port, also semi completed, it never booted all the way, stuck on boot animation.
Extracted A100 CM9 boot.img folder, with the ramdisk and kernel, for use with the above two projects, or any other porting you wish to do.
DSIXDA Kitchen for linux, useful abilities include extracting and building boot.img files. Can be used for any number of things that I never used it for, however its included anyways. Try out modding some stock ROMs or something, just play around with it.
Morfic's Bin Tools, a full set of every tool you could ever want, for use with ADB or any number of things, if you can think of it, Morfic included it. Huge thanks to Morfic for this.
CWM Touch Recovery .img I created this as an experiment for/with another user, and its actually posted up in my Nightly Builds posting, however its been reported SD card doesn't mount on it. The partitions are all correct so it won't brick, but enjoy playing with it. Includes all of the files for it, as well as the ready to flash .img file.
Couple of documents, 1 being a complete partition map as reported by TWRP Recovery, useful for knowing which device blocks are which partition.
Other document is cat /proc/partitions and cat /proc/cmdline, output is from my working device, and can be used to verify bootloader information as well as raw partition information, if available. Comes from my bootloader flashed and unlocked A100, and as you can see, reports A200, and as far as I can tell, the wrong CPUID.
Anyone can feel free to take a look, and see what they may want to finish, or not. I give full consent to use anything in this zip file, as I didn't really create it, but I give it anyways. Anything in this zip is, I think, GPL compliant (such as the CM9 kernel and aokp with CM9 kernel, jellybean with CM9 kernel, etc).
CWM Touch was created by the bot, so I hold no credit for this either, only the 2 document files are truly created by me, and I give full consent for their use.
If you do manage to create something out of any of this, all I ask is a thanks somewhere in the post :good:
So whats next for me?
Well, I'm taking a break for awhile. I'll continue the Nightly CM9 Builds until official nightlies begin, and I'll keep updating the Guides as I have the time, and I'll fix any releases (like my scripts) as I find issues or issues are reported. The only thing I am actively pursuing is the bricking issue. I'm still looking for, and hoping to get, a bricked A100 for testing, as my request post mentions, I would love a donated unit (or loaned) for some testing. Also, the battery issue, as it does occur somewhat often, I would love a chance to work on one of the A100s with the battery charge issue.
Oh, and I'll still be around XDA, helping where I can as always. Anyone can feel free to add me for gtalk, twitter, google+ or whatever else, and feel free to ask questions, for help, or just say what's up and chat! I also tend to visit #iconia-dev on freenode.
Ok enough blabbing gimme your shiz!
Unfinished Business 421 MB zip file, with zips and random ish inside.
