Have you tried rebooting it?
are you using setcpu? and if so, whats ur cpu clocked to?
i rebooted but it didnt seem to help. setcpu is 245/1190 conservative. i'll try and flash the kernel again. i'll wipe cache and dalvik 2 times this time

I can't tell if my phone was getting this way before I upgraded to Fresh 3.4.0.1 or if it happened after the upgrade... but my phone is sluggish. I am running the stock kernel with no OC. Sometimes I'll check my CPU with SystemPanel and it says it's constantly around 95-100% which a reboot fixes.
Is this a problem with Fresh? I have been more than happy with Fresh 3.3.0.1. No complaints at all.
Or is this a problem with a specific app? My wife loves to play Bubble Blast on my phone, and when she does my phone gets VERY warm and drains my battery like no other.
Has anyone else had problems after Fresh 3.4.0.1?
Does anyone else play Bubble Blast and have the same problem?
Thanks.
I was running fresh 3.4 for a day or two and it seemed quicker than cm6 for me.

I've tried fresh 3.4 highly doubtful its the Rom, you can't see which process is taking up all the CPU cycles?

Yeah? Would wiping cache/data help? Or is it possible that Bubble Blast is just a rogue app using all my CPU power?

Nothing looks like it is using more CPU that is should. I'm not having the problem right now, but normally it just says CPU usage is at 90+%
Been running cm7.0.3 for a while and have been using the kernal that came with the rom, and it seems any game I play after a few minutes the game ends up freezing. Tried different governer modes and Max clock speed and stock clock speed, with no difference. Any suggestions? I'm assuming its my kernal....

I'm not sure if the stock CM kernel is overclockable (very well may be) but I have had really good results with either Chad's incredikernel or invisiblek. Never ran into any issues playing games, even CPU intensive ones.

Those are the ones from nightly right? And its been forever since I've flashed a kernal, do I wipe dalvik and that's it?
Sent from my ADR6300
The nightlies still have the stock CM kernel. Those other kernels are in the development forum. And yes, you just flash the kernel in recovery like a rom. A cache/dalvik cache wipe is all that's necessary.

I was flashing ROMS and went back to my old one AVA Froyo Z3 and flash Nectary 4.3.1-cfs-havs-nosbc kernel for overclocking, but everytime I try to use SetCPU to increase the max CPU when I get above Stock and into an overclock setting my phone freezes and reboots. I wiped delvik cache and reflashed ance it didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Not all phones can be overclocked. Every single processor is different, and some just can't be overclocked. How much are you trying to overclock? Most phones should be able to go to 1150000 without any problems.
I was trying 1260000 but ill reflash and try less

Reflashed the Rom and kernel and now its letting me overlook to 1200000. So problem fixed

So I tried Miui finally, and so far I love the battery life. I'm using Mason Kernel and I was downloading some apps and changed my CPU speed, well, i acidentally scrolled too far and set it to 1.2 and my phone instantly froze and rebooted. I never even took my finger off the slider so Idk how it set already.... I certainly will not be using Miui toolboxes cpu controller anymore....
How do I fix my phone from constantly rebooting? It's stuck on 1.2ghz and i can't get into the CPU controller to change it.
Complete wipe and reflash, is my suggestion

If you go to the setcpu thread in the G1 forum there's a CPU reset zip that puts it back to default speeds if you set it to high. Try and see if it works

Nvm I could have sworn I saw a reset zip before

does anybody have a setcpu flashable zip? I might be able to boot from there as it has a built in safemode.....
I would rather not wipe and redo everything.. I didn't make a nandroid as I was still testing out the rom.
anything at all guys?
Edit: Close please. Wiped boot and reflashed, seems to work.... apps were gone but upon restoring with TB (Didn't have schedules to backup chrome and firefox among others) and they somehow stuck through the reflashing.... though chrome was gone.
I'm looking for any sbc kernels that work with the unofficial cm9. I tried the tiamat ics kernel with SBC and all it did was Max out my CPU and hold it maxed until it either lags into a reboot or just freezes and I can't do anything else. Any idea what could cause this or can someone give me a list of available kernels?

Use mason kernel. Just make sure u grab the one for ics

I looked at them and I've tried both. It worked for a total of 20 mins and I got the same result. I've completely wiped and cleared everything except the SD card memory. After 20 mins the CPU maxes itself and crashes the phone. The rom runs fine by itself but it decides to go completely unstable when I add a kernel. Any ideas what could be causing it? Software/hardware inefficiency or something?
