forum.xda-developers.com I went on the link called How To: Root the HTC Desire
theunlockr.com
Finally I found something that worked until I found out when I reached fake flashing so as recovery menu appeared as Nexus one, the menu came up but I could not go up and down the Tools menu. who stood at the bottom Not build seen? : S .. I have installed HTC sync driver and android-sdk_r06-windows, but sometimes pops up on screen where it says "driver not functioning properly, try windowsupdate" What `? eerm i think if you use fakeflash and put the rom on your sd card and rename the rom in update.zip, you overwrite the fakeflash?!
do not rename the rom. install fakeflash again and boot ur phone in recovery. install from zip an choose the rom
Have you tried this?
If it doesn't work, try this one. The zip package you'll download from there includes the drivers you're gonna need (from what I can remember, can't check right now - I'm at work).
Good luck!
Every time I try creating a theme for my Wildfire with the UOT Kitchen i get the Error (Status 0) message after trying to flash it.
I am running CM 7.0.3 with 3.0.2.8 Clockworkmod, so I should be able to flash it.
Can anyone make a complete working guide to this, as all of my tries have failed....

The only update-binary file i was able to find was in the update.zip on my sd card...and after following the tip I was still unable to flash it.
Any other ideas?
do what i did and put them all onto the rom manually unzip the rom and replace all the files... not recommended btw
HI
Sorry if i am in the wrong section to post. If I am, please move to a more convenient group.
I made a custom Rom in the android kitchen. Everything went through well, no problems at all. then when I try to install to my phone, it wont install and I get these errors:
One error I got while installing was: Installation Abored: Status 6.
Now I get this error white installing: E:Cant open /sdcard/primou_signed_031613_094637.zip (bad) Installation aborted.
Whats going on because I havent changed/converted any update scripts just added an apk then zip aligned it. The original roms install ok, but my own dont install when everything is set the same.
please help me. THANKS
I can upload my two custom roms for you to have a look to see if you can make sense of it. it is for HTC ONE V gsm.
Just try to unzip it and zip it again using WinRAR or 7Zip

Hello everyone,
shame that still nobody has reported. I have indeed managed to install TWRP v.2.8.0.0, but I have the Android OS 4.2.2 somehow uninstalled when the wipe command. Now I have no OS on my tablet. Well, all for over a week. I just tested a Flash Boot ZIP file to the Android version 4.2.2 Least again, to be able to install on TWRP. Different ZIP's from the XDA developers could not be installed. Either because the zip could not be installed or the possible Ubuntu Toch Version.
I would be very happy if one of you could adopt my problem, because I have not been as conscientiously as you.
Advance for your support and warm Dankf
Kind regards Stefan Harbich
I have the same problem. I've tried to install Ubuntu on Samsung S3 and now in TWRP - whatever I do (install, backup..) - these errors accur
Btw, everything works, but there are about 30 lines of errors like this about missing directories.
Any ideas?
Hi,
I want to know where to find the file " unroot.rar " or, " unsuperuser_.zip " to flash it after restore a nandroid backup , I find them anywhere.
someone just give me a link to download it , thank you in advance.
NB:sorry for my English , I use google translate to communicate to you my problem .
https://www.google.ch/search?client=opera&q=-ruu+m8&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8#q=unroot+zip
is it for HTC ONE M8???? I do not think it's that easy.
I look for the file " unroot .zip" I found a tutorial in the site " theunlockr ": " How to Unroot the HTC One M8 (Complete Guide) ( Video) " has "section V. Unroot the HTC One M8 " . the link to download the file opens a page " dev- host" but the file was deleted.
