just so you know everyone of the guides is using Unrevoked forever to unlock nand there is nothing better right now since the unlock they use is actually as they say forever
Yea there's nothing wrong with the newer unrevoked. Full nand.

Unrevoked is the easiest way
I just rooted my evo like a week ago.. with unrevoked.. and its working great.. i think its the easiest way to root it. just install the drivers first. really easy..
GOOD LUCK
Thanks to everyone! Then i just probably'll use unrevoked!
Same here, I've used unrevoked for some time and no problems

Need help with flashing Myn's rls 4 Rom via Skype

Need help with flashing Myn's rls 4 Rom via Skype .
Swyped From My Fully Rooted HTC Evo 4G Via XDA App.
What is the issue you're having? Is it failing via ROM manager? If yes then that's why it's failing b/c of ROM Manager.
What version of Clockwork are you running? 2.6.X.X?
Did you try to flash via Amon Ra? Did it work?
Well I never flashed a Rom b 4

Did the method I instructed in the PM not work or something???? I'm confused, I've described, in detail, twice in separate PM's. Follow what I instructed and it will work.
Got it
This is awesome ! Myns rock !!!

[Q] HTC Evo 4G Stock Recovery 3.70.651.1

Hello all,
I'm sorry if this has been already discussed and solved. I spent about 3-4 hours looking for a stock recovery (PC36IMG.ZIP) for 3.70.651.1. I haven't had any luck.
If someone could help me I will be super ecstatic. Thanks ahead.
I'm trying to restore my evo back to complete stock after using unrevoked forever. I used the RUU and got everything back to stock. But when I go into the recovery I get a picture of an evo with a big "X".
How and where do I get the stock recovery image? How do I apply it? (Do I just place it on root?)
Not the right section to be posting this Q since there is a Q & A section, but to answer your question that is the stock recovery.

When you run the RUU everything gets set back to Stock on the exception of your S-ON/S-OFF status in which case you just flash the unrevoked-forever-son.zip.

[Q]Need to revert to stock? I have S-ON...

I have S-ON and a custom, virtuous rom. I need to flash back to stock for a warantee. Whenever i try to flash a stock rom, or a nandroid clockword mod craps out. What should I do? I have a G2 (the one tmobile sells)
Is a G2 or a desire z? You failed to mention that. Either way just Google "stock told" with whatever phone you have. They are always laying around this thread as well.

Hmmmmm
I have tried doing the PC10IMG thing, and when I do it it says that the main version is older. I think I have the G2, whichever one T-Mobile sells in the U.S really.

unflash phone

hi i have an htc evo 4g and it has been flashed to booste mobile from sprint and i want to unflash it or flash it back to sprint i was wondering how could i do that. thanks!!!!
Bump
I would suggest running an RUU. Not sure if that will help though because I've never flashed carriers or "backflashed"
