I'm probably 15 minutes from you. I'll help...in a way. You can send me a message on your concerns, and if you get stuck, I will help you out. I'm sure you've read how important it is to learn to handle the stuff on your own...I'll help you do that.
Also...part of what I will do is simply point you to relevant threads. I've been there, I know it's hard to tell which info is right in your situation.

Dude, look up top at the stickys. There is one that's all about the hermes. That's where myself and a lot of the jokers around here got started. Follow it and you will be fine. You can find the help you need, but first you need to help yourself.
Just a hint, Hard SPL your phone 1st!!!!
Would hate to have to see another person crying out for help because they've bricked their phone and can't get it working again.....
This post was simply too ignorant even for me to help out!

Lol well, I am kind and helpful by nature but this was just way too ignorant lol. The info is like right in his face.
True, but you know that as soon as something goes wrong, and a brick results, then there are gonna be more posts you are npt gonna want to respond to...

Why would there be posts about a bricked phone? There's info to read about how to "unbrick" you phone too
I typically ignore "Help me" or "I have a problem" subjects... Although I did look at this one and was going to bash the OP for not being descriptive.
Good to see that others beat me to it
As the 1st post was written with a ton of information available, what makes you think that anyone will read after bricking???
I have a rooted Evo 4G and my battery has lasted no longer than 4 hours and change..... i already turned off all the recommended settings, 4g,gps, wifi, brightness, etc...

I have never written an unhelpful reply before, but flooding the thread with the same question, i mean are you just trolling around, wtf... one time is more than enough and if you just took the time to search you would have found like 10 more threads on that subject, read educate yourself and then ask
i do appologise for my actions and will learn from my mistakes...
i have screen captures that i took of my HTC EVO
but i am unable to post them until i have a certain amount of postings...
so far the info that i have gathered from other sites is that it might be the kernel or the way it was rooted.... im not an expert but i would like for my phone to work at its best as it can...
i will post some pics in the near future to better facilitate everybody help
thank you
Hi guys,
Yesterday, i asked your help to give me some ideas for my website project. I know that it was pretty confusing for all of you here. So i want to make it simple this time. That's why i created this survey.
Could you all please spend some minutes to fill this survey. This is really important for me. I really appreciate your helps here. Really.
You can answer the questions of my survey on this survei1346254.blogspot.com
I really hope you all can help me answer this survey. Your feedback is like a goldmine for me.
Thanks,

I have been searching for two weeks straight on how to root my Verizon (running on straighttalk) Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It is the SM-910V running 5.0.1. It has the kernel 3.10.40. I have tried multiple different ways of using odin, kingoroot, ect. I'm not sure if I am just doing something wrong or what? I consider myself fairly decent with software and figuring things out. However, working 4 12-hour shifts at the local hospital and taking summer classes in college has me a little frazzled. Can someone please direct me to a guide that will enable me to root my phone permanently. I would prefer not to have a temporary root but if that is my only option I am certainly open to it. I am not incompetent nor am I lazy, I am just tired of searching countless threads and watching countless video's to no avail. PLEASE HELP ME. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated and hopefully someday I can return the favor.
Side Note: I am currently a Licensed Practical Nurse with many years of experience and working on getting my ASN-RN then I will bridge that to an ASN in CIS. Anything I can do to assist someone else please ask. Thank you for allowing me to join your group guys and gals!!!
Hi! Xda admin aren't the ones to ask for help with technical issues on devices, fellow members are.
There's a dedicated section here for the Verizon Note 4, https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-verizon
The general section has lots of information, including root guides by the looks of it. After reading through those, if you still need help, you can ask in the guide threads, or in the question and answer section.
Good luck! And I'll close this thread. :good:
So, I have viewed numerous threads, :highfiveeople asking if, say for example the Alcatel 621BL pixie, if anyone has root. If so could you kindly post a hyperlink? To the thread so people can educate themselves. I see so many like threads, people tossing remarks back and forth and no real solution is offered.
Also Note: Now that I have some extra time during my work hours, I shall start grinding Linux again and offer up some true remedies, soon. Stay tuned for a root near you.
