I had it on this whole time wondering if that was killing the battery life all this time

It's only active while your screen is on. So it shouldn't affect your battery life that noticeably.

I've seen an app mentioned a bunch of times to monitor what apps are really killing the battery, but can't remember what it's called.
Thanks in advance

I prefer gsam battery monitor, the app formerly known as bad ass battery monitor

I use both gsam and better battery stats, cpu spy as well. They're all helpful apps.

Thanks I'll have to try the others after I figure out why suddenly the market won't let me charge to my phone bill.

D/c from Wifi. Pay on 3G, then reconnect to Wifi, and bam. Also, you should try the apps before you buy. I know at least GSam and CPU Spy have free versions.

What's everyone running these days. I use lagfree @ 1ghz and seems quick. Using 1.4ghz isn't much of a difference

1.2 with smartass v2
Doesn't use any noticeable battery life and things load faster. Like games

I'm at 3.2 GHz on my phenom 2

I run it at 1.4 ghz with smart ass v2 and I also see a big difference in performance in games like dead trigger, battery life takes a hit but its not enough to stop me from overclocking

Battery life is based on individual handsets and people. You are getting average for moderate use. Some people will get better some worse. If you are happy with that than yes its good battery life.

+1 it depends on your usage and what you mainly do with your phone.
Does Stweaks have a good way to stress test the CPU/GPU at each frequency? I plan to under-volt my CPU/GPU. If not, what would be a good way/app to stress test at each frequency?

StabilityTest does the job.
I couldn't run the scaling test. It needed an ondemand or userspace governor.
