Was wondering if anyone knew of a app to help optimize battery because it will go from 90 percent then I reboot my phone and all of a sudden it says the batter is on 2 percent

Well the one I use is pretty much the Deep Sleep Battery Saver. And tweaking a few settings should do the trick.. Hope that helps..

There is no app for replacing a worn out battery.
If your phone is a year old or close to it, if your a flashaholic, you need a new battery.
Remove your battery and place in a flat surface, if it wobbles and you can spin it like a top, you need a new battery.
Make sure you spin it clockwise! !
If you spin it counter clockwise steve jobs will poltergiest out of your oven and eat your Epic Touch.
Pp.

Edit: Just saw that you go from 90 to 2 looks like you might just need a new battery..

You have to turn off both Smart Stay and Smart Rotation to get rid of the eye icon.
Thanks so much it was eating my battery the last 2 days

Aaah. Maybe that's why my battery life has taken a nose dive. That sucks, I love the smart stay feature.

Hi guys. I'm experiencing some battery drain caused by audioout_2 wakelock. Help please? I have no idea what this is. I searched Google, didn't seem to help me too much.

Post BBS screenshots of the wakelock please. This is likely a system/app sounds issue at first guess.
I think you might get this when playing music as well. I had a good wake lock from this after a road trip.
Have ? What is AudioOut_2

I wouldn't complain about that wakelock that much. In 7 hours you burned less than 12% of your battery. and only a tiny bit of it was AudioOut2.
Odds are this would go away if you turned off system sounds.
That is the same mine says
AudioOut_2 so it is probably normal

Okay I've been reading reviews on people getting 20 hours on battery with the same usage as I am, but my battery dies around 12-15 hours which I think is pretty good. Well I'll post up screenies to show you guys. Just checking if my battery life is normal before jumping ahead and buying a new battery.

I'm getting about that with about 6 hours of audio play mixed in.

May I ask how battery life is on AOSP roms, like cm?
So what's the overall way to increase battery without disabling the awesome features of this phone? I read in this thread to over charge for an hour or two, but in another thread it says not to over charge the battery... I'm confused

It all depends on how you use your phone. If you have a bunch of apps synching, terrible reception, and the screen on the brightest setting all the time you most likely won't get good battery life. I'm more than happy coming from the Nexus 4 though. That phone had horrendous battery life.

I could get a full days use with my nexus 4 and only use like 40% tasker can work wonders. I'm going to try to it on my s 4 when I let the battery settle from all my changing apps and flashing

Interesting... I use my phone A LOT though and the S4 has impressed me since day one. My nexus dies in a little over a day with no use at all.

I just set up my galaxy s 4 to do the same, I'll try it for a few days. I just use tasker to set it to turn off internet unless I have an app open which requires it.
You can set it to turn on internet and sync at intervals too.
I didnt really change anything. Shut off all features. Brightness like 25%. But I did underclock to 1.3ghz. Which stilll ran really smooth.

Ive notice that some apps like google maps kills battery too. Even if youre not running it. So check if your running applications.

The battery, somewhat, got better!
But I'm installing a kernel in a few to see if that helps!

Just do what I do. I use an old car battery and I soldered leads into the back of the phone. Sure, my arms get tired and people stare at me in Wal-Mart... but I NEVER run out of battery. :good:
Battery stats isn't compatible to kit kat so i wonder if there are alternatives? I also searching for an app that measures cpu time for a certain process.
Thanks!
Better battery stats is compatible with kitkat.. problem solved lol
