Hello to everybody,
My dad's desire has a problem.sometimes reboot and I think is motherboard problem since is often really hot.
I have tried different Rom but the problem persists.I have change the battery restored the original SD and now the last think is to restore a no rooted version of sense Rom to don't avoid warranty.
I have tried with 1.21 ruu Rom and the latest 2.09 but all can't restore the phone.
So the question is simple:how can I restore from nextsense 7.0 to default and not rooted HTC sense Rom?
Thanks

All,
My G2 is having some hardware issues and I am having it replaced. I need to downgrade to Stock 2.2.
I have not been able to find a tutorial to complete this task. I have tried flashing the stock rom however the phone just freezes at the HTC logo...
any ideas how I can downgrade?
Did you flash an older version of CWM (pre 3.x) before flashing the 2.2 rom?
No. Ill do that first. Thanks for the reminder.

The other day i got LeeDrOiD 3.0.3, but i now want to get rid of it and get my phone back to how it was before i flashed a rom and rooted.
So how can i get rid of a custom rom and get it back to stock android 2.2 and be able to update my phone with normal android and htc sense updates.
(I didn't preform a nandroid backup as at the time i thought that it was just backing up all my photos and music and stuff.)

You can't OTA with rooted phone. I tried as well What you can do now is either install rooted Sense 3 ROM or use RUU and go stock, but then you won't be able to root because AAHK doesn't work with new Sense 3 ROMs....
Thanx dalanik for the only reply...
I already did it the ruu way...
I knew it wasn't possible...

Just download the RUU from HTCdev.com and run the .exe file from your computer. It will reflash everything (bootloader, recovery, radio etc.). And if you had flashed a custom hboot, download bootloader downgrader from Alpharev and flash that before the RUU.

I'd be careful with the RUU. I did this once and have an SLCD screen. The drivers were not included in the RUU for the screen. I used a T-Mobile one. I had to apply an update with no screen. It was a scary time.

If I'm not wrong those are the AMOLED versions of the RUU. The 2.3 RUU is compatible for both AMOLED and SLCD desires

I am currently running ARHD 6.1.1 due to some problems in both 6.1.1 and 7.0.0 i am thinking of going back to stock for the moment. However i lost my stock backup and i have no idea how to get back to stock rom... i tried using the htc ruu but it doesnt work :/ any ideas guys?
If you try to use HTC rru, you should reflash original recovery first.
then relocked your one X.. after that you may use the htc rru.
use this bit here to read. that way you can restore back to stock mate
Alright thanks mate will try it out
