I am currently running ARHD 6.1.1 due to some problems in both 6.1.1 and 7.0.0 i am thinking of going back to stock for the moment. However i lost my stock backup and i have no idea how to get back to stock rom... i tried using the htc ruu but it doesnt work :/ any ideas guys?
If you try to use HTC rru, you should reflash original recovery first.
then relocked your one X.. after that you may use the htc rru.
use this bit here to read. that way you can restore back to stock mate
Alright thanks mate will try it out

Hello to everybody,
My dad's desire has a problem.sometimes reboot and I think is motherboard problem since is often really hot.
I have tried different Rom but the problem persists.I have change the battery restored the original SD and now the last think is to restore a no rooted version of sense Rom to don't avoid warranty.
I have tried with 1.21 ruu Rom and the latest 2.09 but all can't restore the phone.
So the question is simple:how can I restore from nextsense 7.0 to default and not rooted HTC sense Rom?
Thanks

The other day i got LeeDrOiD 3.0.3, but i now want to get rid of it and get my phone back to how it was before i flashed a rom and rooted.
So how can i get rid of a custom rom and get it back to stock android 2.2 and be able to update my phone with normal android and htc sense updates.
(I didn't preform a nandroid backup as at the time i thought that it was just backing up all my photos and music and stuff.)

Hey,
I really like to start rooting my device and using some of the awesome custom Roms, nur i habe an issue with my screen i guess. It flickers on some gray screens.
I dont want so send my new toy in right now, it is new and ti awesome to let it go.
So is there any way to return to stock when i root my device?

Yes, before you flash a custom Rom make a nandroid backup of your stock Rom and restore that. Alternatively flash a stock ruu but I think there may be issues if you have the wrong cid

I know nandroid backups well i had a htc hero and a htc Vision.
But when i do a nandroid backup and revert I still have the wrong recovery. Or am I wrong? Are there official ruu out there or do I have to wait for HTC to release one?

You'll need to restore the stock recovery, stock kernel and relock your bootloader to get it work.
Have done everything but its just sticking at middle of the update

the update is crap anyway, i wouldnt even worry about taking it. afaik all it does is update the radio version, which didnt do anything for my signal when i was running stock and took the update.
