hI MY CALLER ID 1.20 DOESENT WORK THE PREVIWEW IS ACTIVE BUT THE RINGTONE AND PHOTO ASSOCIATIONS DOESENT WORK WHEN ARRIVE INCOMING CALLS....!!!
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME ??

If you want an answer, we need more information... What type of HTC is it? What software are you running? Things like that.

What software do you have installed on your phone, apart from the standard software which comes with the phone? This is most likely the root cause of the problem....

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I suddenly had a thought...
If you go into Photo Contacts in your Programs, and then go to Tools -> Options, do you have the "Display photo during incoming or waiting call" tickbox ticked? If not, Photo Contacts won't even try to show the picture when you receive an incoming call...

Thanks Christopher maybe I've found what's wrong all my associated pictures are in my sd card, so maybe this could be my problem.
I've change the destination folder from documents to storage , I'hope this could be change the my problem into a resolution act.
The the flag in the option boxes are all ticked ....

Generate calendar entries from contacts (birthdays)

Hi,
i got a question regarding the calendar functions. With my Siemens I had
the option to generate birthday entries directly from the contacts...
...but with the S620 it does not seem to work?! Do I have to create 150+
birthday entries manually?! Thanks in advance

no ,install a Facade then it will do it for you

...one more: How can I dispaly birthdays
on the homescreeen!?

Facade is a software from SBSH likely to the Pocketbreeze on the PPC.

it can display the birthday automaticly on the homescreen when who has a birthday.

You are wrong - you don't need any additional software, you have the contacts and input only the birthday date in it and it will show as first daily entry for the day, also showing the age..

@jsp_m: but it won't show up in the today view
@james_xl: i had a look at it but it is too much i don't need the
fancy stuff just the birthdays...

Any development on this topic?
I have to put in birthdays on the computer in order for them to show up in the calendar.

I want to know if any of you have the same problem like that some contact information like birthdate is loaded on contact form,, but after that do not appears as Calendar event.
Could you some one help me on that ?
Is necessary add a plugin or new software like Agendus for that ??

Wrong platform -- wrong forum. HTC Touch is a WM Pro device, this forum is for the Excalibur line from HTC, available from HTC directly, or from other carriers. The Excalibur is WM5 or WM6 Standard (no touch screen).

push mail ?

I used SFR mail (Visto, can be Rogers too for different country) wich allow me to have my mail in push mail directly on my phone.
This service seem to don't work on WM6, but I am sure to don"t be the only one to have this problem and than maybe someone find a solution (i listen about a new version not officialy release).
So, I am open to any idea

If you want, you can subscribe for free to mail2web.com. It's a real exchange server with real push mail !

I used SFR mail by Visto for 9 months.
When my device was with a WM5 ROM, I had a lot of problems at the beginning because a wrong version of the software.
But with the last version for WM5, I haven't any problem more.
Version 5.6.0.0 Edition 5.5.7051WM5 : SFR_WM2005.cab (902 ko)
Now I have a WM6 ROM on my device and no problem with the SFR Mail software.
Are you sure your are the lastest version, and also the version for WM5 ?

After, simply add a new server connexion in activesync software.
server adress is mobile.exchange.mail2web.com
Login is your mail2web adress

Dutty - Dodgy SMS Notification

Hi,
I installed Dutty's latest 3.9 ROM a couple of days ago and now I am only being notified of roughly 1/3 of the text messages I receive. ie, for 2/3 of the text messages I receive my phone does not vibration or play a ringtone. Anybody else experiencing this?

I installed it after struggling with the terms and concepts of a WinMo for two days
Now I love my WinMo HD and I have no such problems as you mentioned...
Lets see for a few days and how it goes...

[Q] Mailpreview Touch Flow or MS 3.5

Hello,
hopefully somebody got a registry twaek or anything that make
it possible to use the mail preview in TouchFlow or MS 3.5 in
combination with BBConnect.
Right now in both programms it is only possible to see the header
of the mails. Well that´s a little bit frustrating, because it makes
it impossible to use the preview function, and you still have to
oben the mailreader programm.

I have been using various versions of BBConnect on various handsets for about 4 years now. I'm afraid I have never seen a solution to this. I would like to be able to delete the emails from the Touch Flo screen using a soft key without having to open them anyway. BBConnect is an apauling programme and causes lots of bugs. Your one is just one of them!

Just to your point, within MS3.5 it´s possible to delete an mail
with "two clicks" without open the original mailprogramm.
Well, from my point of view, since it is a problem that comes up
in TFD and MS3.5, i believe there must be a solution.
It seems that both programms are using a procedure or whatever
that is similar in both programms. ( Hey sorry, i´m not a programmer)
From my point of view it must be possible to trace that back.
But to be honest i don´t know how, if somebody could point me in the
direction i would try it. But hopefully there are more experienced guy´s out
there who knew how to do that.
Is there somebody ???

or maybe with a "cooked" rom.
Would be great to get at least a feedback, if that will be a way,
that i could follow for a solution on this issue.
