I upgraded my radio to 2.15.00.07.28 but am still working on the .77 HBoot I was under the impression when upgrading the radio it also upgraded the HBoot as well. If not what's the advantage of doing this and what's the process????

There is none.
The advantage is to run 2.2 Rom with all features working correctly like 720 p video recording.

Whenever I try to record a video the phone pauses then restarts. I'm using the latest skyraider rom. I tried wiping and reinstalling but that didn't help. I also tried the latest virtuous rom and that failed to work too. I can take pictures no problem, but video doesn't work no matter what I do.
What radio version do you have?

Do you have a backup you can restore when the video did work?
Why?
If so, iteratively work backward to see what was changed/added to/removed after the last known working version - you may be able to isolate the app or update that borked the video, and go from there.

That solved the problem. I was on the stock radio and after updating it I can now record video. Thanks.

I am not sure about cyanogenmod 6. You will have to search the threads to see if anyone is having issues with certain radios.

I wouldn't change your radio unless your current one has problems. It doesn't change much and can be risky (though I don't know of anyone bricking with a radio as of yet).

Unless you are on the inspire, the new one seems to help with battery life..... Maybe. But if you aren't having issues, no need to do so.

It's a matter of opinion, some members will flash a radio some wont. Sometimes the benefits are small so it's all up to you if you want to try them out.

Which ROM you have installed does not affect how you flash a radio. If you are S-OFF with AAHK (not HTCDEV) you flash them all the same way. Instructions are in the guide in the Ace Think Tank thread post #7, linked in my signature.

CyanogenMod10 doesn't support GPS on newer hboots.

It just makes you capable of installing and using JB Sense roms and leaves CM10, AOKP and others crippled.

I was thinking is it worth it?
And i heard some roms dont work on that hboot like cm10? Is this true?
And could i downgrade my hboot back to 1.12.0000?

It is worth to update to hboot 1.36 . It works fine with Cm10 and no you can't downgrade hboot

In fact, GPS is not working on newer hboots on cm10.

What's different with your phone?
I have loaded half a dozen ROMs from the Desire forum and don't have any problems with wifi, mainly problems with camera or video or low sound notifications.

I do not know why but wifi works on all rom except jb.maybe it's broken do not really know why.:crying:
