Where can I find the boot animation with androids waving hello? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I saw this boot animation on a ROM. I think maybe the deoxed version of Froyo. The androids pop on the screen and wave hi. The middle says EVO 4G. The only part I didn't like was the "DROID" startup sound at the end.
Anyone know where I can find that bootup?

Missing Window Close Animation?

My old Droid1 had a window closing animation of the window fading away when you pressed the home button (I'm pretty sure source ROMs have this too), but it doesn't seem to show for me on Sense ROMs (I've even tried changing the animation speed in Spare Parts).
I'm not sure if this is just my phone, or if it is like this for everyone, because I remember way back when the first Sense 2.2 build was leaked, this animation was present, but then it magically disappeared when I updated to the official 2.2. So my question is, is everyone missing this animation? And if so, is it possible to add it back in?

[Q] Remove old TV lock screen animation

The ROM i am running (Synergy) has the old TV lock screen animation when i turn it off and on. I do not like that. I just want the normal on and off animation. I have searched the forums and i have found ways to add the animation, but none to remove it. If anyone could please help me i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
I figured it out, sorry.

New splash screen?

I just rootet my phone with Oxygen and my splash screen annoys me. It show is the "Unsecure Kernel" splash screen.
Are there any places where there are some cool splash screens to the Galaxy S2 and perhaps a relatively easy way to install them?

Not really what I was thinking about.
There are two kind of splash screens when booting.
Firt the unanimated screen followed by an animation screen.
On a rooted SGS2 you can change both screens using market apps BUT your kernel also must support it.
To change the still splash screen i use "SGS2 Bootscreen Changer" by Hellcat.
To change the boot animation i use "ROM Toolbox" by Jared Rummler (JRummy16) (Interface -> Bootanimation).
Hope i could help and greetings!
which splash screen are you talking about? If your talking about the "Samsung Galaxy S II" one with the yellow triangle then you need the usb jig to get rid of the triangle, once you have gotten rid of the triangle you can then you can change that first screen with the above mentioned app (sgs2 bootscreen changer). If its the animation one you want to change however, that's simple enough. there are heaps of forums giving you step by step instructions with new ones to download. You just need a root explorer, i like ES File Exporer

[Q] animation problem with my HTC one X

hello there,
i've got HTC one x about 2 days ago, i think it's a v. good phone but now i have a problem
the phone had a very cool cube animation when you move between tabs as fingers are moved across the tabs ... for example in apps like "phone" you have (phone - people - favorite .. etc)... i used to have a cube animation while moving between those tabs ...
once i updated the software (which i didnt know it would change the phone like that), this animation is completely gone and it just shows a black box with the name of the tab on it ... how can i bring this animation back ?
one other thing, scrolling the home screen now goes forever, i mean when you scroll to the very last screen on the right, it jumps after that to the screen on the far left and goes looping like that .... how can i disable that feature and make it as it was
hope my questions are quite clear ...
Thanks
For cube animation: with the latest relase of android and htc sense, cube animation was off, but if you want, you can flash ViperX because the dev have added this option
For second question: Do you talk about infinite scrolling?
If yes, you can disable it, always, with ViperX rom.
With stock rom you can't disable infinite scrolling and activate cube animation
Flash a custom Rom matey

Interesting discovery on boot animation

It's odd, but I've seen many unboxings, and most of the time on the boot up, the Motorolla M has clock gears in the M.. now I'm starting to
notice a different boot animation.. I've only seen it once on youtube and then the watch I own myself. Instead of the clock gears, it's an M in the middle with a white light circling the minute markers.. what's the difference? Why are there 2 different boot screens?
thanks, hope this hasn't been mentioned
It's due to the firmware it's running at the time. Most unboxings are showing it turn on for the very first time and the original firmware (4.4W ) had the gear boot animation. But immediately upon turning it on the device prompts you to charge the battery and update. The update puts you on 4.4W.1 which has the new boot animation. So essentially most people only ever see the old boot animation once
I wish they wouldn't have changed it. The gears are way cooler than the clock boot ani.

I think the boot animation with the gears in the M is for initial start-up. I had 4.4W.1 already pre-installed when I got my M360. That boot animation only showed once.

Just remember it, and when the developers start to take off let them know the boot animation on 4.4W was pretty sick, they might be able to extract it for a custom rom
