No splash screen on boot.

After perma-rooting, installing clockwork recovery, and then bacon bits I have a blank boot screen untill right before complete booting at which point the splash screen shows up for no more than 5 seconds or so. Is this normal?

Based on my research it seems it may be fastboot, but I'm still not sure, if anyone has had the same issue or can shed some light on it feel free.

Which splash screen? HTC or T-Mobile?
T-Mobile g2 splash screen.

It does not seem to have any effect on the operation of the phone or boot process, so I guess it is just a fluke.

Pink circle on boot - permanent?

I have my desire on T-mobile and when I start up the phone there is initially a pink circle image that appears before the boot animation.
I was just wondering if this is something that can be changed or is it built into the phone by T-Mobile?

probably it is your splashscreen. to change your splashscreen you need s-off. after that check the forum on how to change your splashscreen.

If its the splash screen shown immediately before the boot animation then you will need to flash that separately using a separate tool.
Take a look in the Apps & Themes section, I've used it myself.

[Q] HTC Desire HD nothing is happening after failed upgrade.

Hello, my Htc desire HD will no longer turn on after i pulled the battery out during a software update as it didnt seem to be doing anything after 15 minutes. All that is happening now is that I can see an orange charging light when it is plugged in and it stays on even after I have unplugged it untill i pull the battery. I cannot get it to turn on or go into Hboot, any ideas ???
You use a HTC Desire HD. So please ask your question in the forum for the HTC Desire HD.

What is with this people? These questions are asked almost daily in the past week or so.

Sense UI Problem?

OK so I think my DHD may have a software problem. When I use the HTC Internet application (to my knowledge this is the only app so far that does this) and I try to go back to the homescreen I get the HTC logo (I can still see the notification bar) and a box that says "Loading" with a spinner next to it, then it loads. What is this?

It means that your Sense Launcher is crashing and then reloading. This could be due to low memory.

Hmm... Any possible fix for this? The only thing that I don't like is this. Other than that my DHD has served me well

It is happening exactly the same to me, but I am on RCMIX 4.0 ICS themed.
I was thinking was depending on Juice-defender or memory management-patch (Killersloth).
Annoying but it is not a big problem. I noticed it happens when you have to press "back" button many times (due to the navigation history) to exit internet browser.
