Did a search and came up with nothing, so don't go all flamin' if this has been posted already. I updated to the leaked Froyo 3.26.651.3 and since updating I don't have Facebook calendar sync. Anyone else having problems with this? I've played with every setting I can find in calendar and accounts sync, even in friendstream with no luck.
Edit: Ok, I have Facebook calendar sync, but it is only pulling events, and not birthdays like it used too. Odd.
I even tried updating to the newest version of Facebook for android (1.3.0) and no luck.

for wahtever reason, SOME, not all of my facebook events are listend twice on my calendar. You'd think if it was double posting from syncing twice, everybody would have double birthdays listed. This isn't the case, only SOME are doubled up. When I remove the facebook calendar from view, they both disappear.
Anybbody have any idea whats going on? It all started after I installed the toastmod froyotized kernal. The calendar items also would flash so i think there might be some issues there.
Other than that everything is great. Thanks.
anybody have any idea wahts going on here?
Sounds like an issue with the Facebook app and I am sure that nobody here is the facebook app developer so I would ask facebook.

do you have both FB and FB for sense synced?
I'm getting this problem as well.
Under the calendar app, I have 4 possible calendars that I can select: My Calendar, my google calendar, UK Holidays and my facebook calendar.
From trial and error it's only when I select My Calendar that I get duplicate facebook birthday entries. For some reason my facebook birthdays don't even show up in the calendar when the facebook calendar is selected.
Seems odd, not really sure what's going on.
Hi,
Just a quick question really about the calender app. It seems to not want to automatically sync up with my online google calender? It does it the other way round so when I add an event to my phone and I go open the calender online the event is there. But if I add an event on the online calender I have to manually go into the calender and sync it, anyway to get it to do it automatically?
Thanks.
mine randomly forgets to show me any google calendar entries at all. It worked yesterday after clearing the calendar app data, now it's gone.
My wife's SGS2 seems to be plagued with this problem, totally stock build, keeps forgetting all her google calendar entries and I have to clear the calendar data and manually re-sync.
Doesn't happen on my SGS2 running a Cognition 2.3.4 build though.
Love the rom but sync icon is on 90% of the time. Device not syncing but icon is always there.
cant post in development?
I've experienced this as well with the stock rooted ROM, not just SOS. I've found the issue to be something to do with the accounts setup and possibly the Peep app.
For email clients, I'm using Touchdown for work and Enhanced Email for my personal accounts, set to Push, so I have the Exchange settings under Accounts on the phone not syncing at all, since I'm not using the stock email client. If you see the sync notification going, check your accounts/sync under Menu>Settings to see which account is running and you can toggle it off and see if anything bad happens.
I also have seen that removing Peep caused this issue as well. Seems that Sense ROMs have a tight integration with Twitter and FB, so when I removed Peep with TB, the phone started syncing almost continuously even though I don't have a Twitter account. I reflashed the ROM, which restored Peep and it stopped syncing.
I hope this helps and good luck.
Is anybody else having problems with calendar sync? I can get fbook and weather to sync, but not Outlook or Google. Any suggestions?
I take that back...Google works too, just not Outlook.
To start I would like to say search within this forum was down for me, so sorry if this has been answered already.
After the update to 3.11.605.1 I lost my facebook contacts and the HTC Sense Facebook app is not syncing them. I don't get any errors, my contacts for facebook just sit at 0. I am S-Off TWRP stock rooted.
I do use Appops and previously disallowed the Facebook app to touch my location and contact info, but didn't inhibit the HTC sense facebook app. Since then I turned on those capabilities, uninstalled and reinstalled the facebook app, and removed the facebook account from sense and added it back on.
Blink feed updates the news feed just fine, and the calendar syncs birthday and events just fine, but no contacts.
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Never mind this eventually did sync on it's own. Or maybe something I did above fixed the issue....
