Is there any way to put some sort of a password on the messages app or otherwise password protect sms messages?
Thanks.

I checked off save password in the email account setup. I'm using .mac for my email. Whenever it goes out for my mail it asks me to enter my password, I usually have to enter it at least 3 times before it actually will connect and get my email. Even if I try and send email from this account it asks a few times for my password before it actually sends the email. I've deleted my account and started over, but the same things keeps happening. I just want to fetch my mail with not interaction from me,lol.
When I setup my aol mail I didn't use the AOl from the list of accunts (if I did it would never work), I used imap/pop and it works fine now. It doesn't ask for a password.
My .mac is the most important, anyone know a way to get my password to stay saved? So everytime it gets my mail, or I try to send a mail I don't have to enter my password around 3 times?
Am I the only one experiencing this? Any workarounds?
Got anything odd in your password? Like spaces or punctuation?
no, it's actually the same exact password as my aol account. That never asks for a password, only my .mac asks.
I was able to setup my email on my t-mobile, and now it does not ask me for my password
Hey, I set up my gmail on my att tilt2 and when im done and try to check my mail i get a incoming e-mail password screen, i set up my password.
Anybody know how to fix this?
thanks
I too am facing the same problem, the email account is yahoo. The "incoming email password" pops up every now and then and is annoying, I have to either click cancel or close this screen dialog. Does anyone know how to go about stopping this pop up.
is there any software which can protect my sms inbox... by which i can put password in my messaging
Don't know how I did this, but now everytime I send an email a box pops up asking for the key password.
How do I get rid of this? Thx
Hi all,
Having issues changing my password in the official/default email app of the G4 - got a notification from my Exchange account (although it happens with them all!) to change my password to match the server. No problem.
Only everytime I try and change the password I get a login error saying "incorrect information". The problem seems to be that when it takes me to the settings of the email app, it deletes out the domain name for some reason, and doesn't let you edit to put it back in!
This seems like a real pain in the ass bug - the only way to get it syncing again is to remove the account and set it up from scratch again...not ideal when forced to change your password frequently.
Can someone try this and see if they're affected for me too please?
In the default LG G4 email app go to:
Settings>*email account*>Advanced settings>Exchanges server settings...
Now you should see where the password is asking to be changed - has the domain been deleted? If you change the password, does it work?
Honestly, between this and the constant missed screen taps I'm very close to sending this back! Any help would be really appreciated!
Anyone?
I have the same issue.... When cancelling however the new password worked....
